and her eyes widened
“Mwo(what!!) ” she half yelled in shock.
Gavin sighed and stand up moving away from
her.
“He just ruffled his hair as he watch the city
from the window”
What have he done?
What is happening?
Why is his power refusing to come to him?
He thought as he bit his lower lips gently.
“Um.. Gavin, what’s happening, why can’t you
take it back? ” she asked as she walk to him.
“I don’t know but don’t worry, just get set and
rest, we are going home later, I will sort it out “
he said as he face her assuring to clear off her
worried state.
“Alright” she said and nod.

Mayor smiled as she worked on the student
test.
She sighed slowly seeing Ariel space empty.
Jeez, this is her final year in college, she is
supposed to be more focused, what’s
happening.
Hope she will be able to attend exams next
week.
She looked at her phone and smiled seeing Karl
as her wallpaper.
Hope he returns soon, safe and healthy.
Maybe paying Ariel a visit soon won’t be a bad
idea, right? .

Gavin eyes were fixated on the road as he drive
the car in anger and confusion.
He got to his mom’s place and step out.
He got into the living room without knocking.
He met her cooking this time around.
“Can we have dinner together, please I have a lot
to tell you” she said still backing him.
Gavin didn’t answer as he turn to leave but her
soft words hit his ears again and he paused.
“I know you are without your powers, I know you
can’t take your powers back now but you really
have to listen to me ” she said and he stopped
as he fell on the couch tiredly.
She walk to meet him on the cough and squat
before him, trying to touch him but he snatched
his hands away.
“I know you haté me so much now but I tried
too, I warned your dad but he is just as stubborn
as you are now” she said sniffing in
“What do you mean” Gavin asked curiously.
“I think it high time you know the truth now, I
and your dad never breakup, I left him” she said
in tears already.
“He passed the night in my arms before he died
but you we’re too little to understand things, I
got sick, I was at the verge of leaving him he
use his powers to heal me even if when I
disagreed with him”
“He pass the power to heal me, I got healed but
the powers refused to go back to his owner, I
got worried but your dad didn’t, he just kept
smiling at me… Like.. ” she said as she
hiccupped.
“He was even happy, even after we find way to
return the powers he refused to take it back, he
was happy I will leave long for him, he have
always been worried of me leaving him soon,”

of course that won’t work, he left with you
asking me to leave and enjoy my life in peace,
he won’t keep you with me, he rather prefer to
keep you with other gods, so the other day you
came to me running, he planned with me to
chase you two away so you won’t insist on
staying with me ” she said and burst into tears
as she sat on the floor.
Gavin face already had tears already.
“He insist I get married and leave a normal
human life, to continue my family name, since
am the only child, he know you won’t be onu
earth jut like a normal human so he keep
insisting “
“Your dad watch me got married to another man
and he was so happy, he did everything for
love, few months after your dad died, I… I… I
use my powers to chase the man away from
me, far away, he won’t even have the memory
of me or his kids, your dad may think am
leaving a life of peace but if your only your dad
know, what am going through without him “
she said as she held her heart region in tears.
Gavin couldn’t take it anymore, he leave the
couch as he squat before her and pull her into
his arms letting her cry in his arms.

Ariel just lsighed sadly while Rhema shake her
head.
“Common just prepare for school, Ashton said
he will he back soon, am sure he just went to
find solution to his problem” sue assured
patting Ariel’s back.
“How did you expect me to be alright, he is not
with his powers, what if Lisa had abduct him,
what if.. ” she trailed off as the door pull open
revealing him.
“Gavin” she called running to him while he just
chuckle.
“Hey” he smiled.
“Where have you been?, I have been worried
sick about you” she cried hugging him tight.
“Am glad you are fully better now, have you
master my powers now” he asked while she
slowly pulled com the hug.
“What do you mean? ” he asked.
“I just asked if you have mastered my powers? “
he said and she frowned.
“Why will I master them?” She asked
“Because am leaving for my realm soon, since
I can’t have them back ” he said and move away
from her slightly.
“Wait you are leaving me again? ” she asked
tearing up.
“Well, you can protect yourself now, am sure
am of no use now ” he said backing her.
Maybe his mom logic might really works.
“You can’t leave me Gavin, you should try again,
you power might be back ” she cried running to
his front as she held his hand closing her eyes.
Gavin grinned and held them too.
Ashton and Rhema we’re just watching
speechlessly, what’s happening?, what’s Gavin
up to? Is that really him?
A cold wind pass by and he opened his eyes
revealing his blue cute eyes, his hair turned to
his realm hair which is blue as he grinned slyly.
Ariel opened her eyes and it meet with his sly
Grin.
“Why is he grinning?, why is he behaving
strange? “
Her eyes move from him to miss Mayor coming
in through the entrance and her eyes widened.
“Shaman Kim won ” she cried in fright pointing
at Mayor while Mayor paused.
