“How unwise of me to have assumed you were
as unintelligent as you appear” Gavino chuckled
darkly, eliciting a growl from Vladimir.

Before anyone could react, a hidden gun was
drawn, and the room erupted into chaos. Bullets
flew, turning the once calm discussion into a
violent struggle for power and dominance
between the two. The door got kicked down, and
Gavino’s men flooded inside, $h00ting anyone
in sight.

Hearing the sound of something beeping inside
the bag Gavino dropped, Vladimir knew they
had been fooled. A bomb was about to explode
any minute.

“$h|t!” he cursed.

He ran towards the exit to escape the room.
Gavino went after him, taking down anyone that
stood in his way.

As Vladimir ran, he looked behind and fired
bullets at Gavino, but he dodged them, returning
the shots.

When he found a good spot to hide, he hid, and
Gavino lost him.

“Dammit!” He cursed under his breath, peeling
off the fake mask he had on to search for
Vladimir.

“Looking for me?” He heard Vladimir’s voice
behind him and swiftly turned to see his man
holding Elmira captive while a gun was placed
on her head.

“One thing you should have learned is that your
silly games end in Italy. In this country, I am the
god” Vladimir smiled smugly.

“This one is special to you, isn’t she?” he
chuckled, using his gun to lift Elmira’s chin,
making Gavino’s blood boil.

“You either drop that toy of yours or watch her
brain go poof!” He demonstrated and laughed
like a madman.

“Release her!” Gavino growled, squeezing his
fist on the gun.

“Hey, hey, you are in no position for a bargain,
big guy. I call the shots, okay?” He grinned,
infuriating him more.

“Fine! Entertain me” Gavino replied
nonchalantly. “I have always loved fireworks” he
returned the smug grin.

His statement made Vladimir and his
assistant’s jaws drop, including the captive
Elmira.

“You must think I’m joking” Vladimir smirked,
aiming his gun at Elmira’s head once again, yet
he remained unfazed.

Sensing her life hung in the balance, Elmira
acted swiftly before Vladimir could pull the
trigger. A back kick to his assistant’s groin
made him groan, releasing her.

As she bent to retrieve the gun, Vladimir
attempted to $h00t, but Gavino shot his palm.

“Ahh… f-__-k you!” Vladimir yelled, firing his
bullet. Gavino dodged it and retaliated, $h00ting
Vladimir in the eye.

Successfully reclaiming the gun, Elmira turned
and aimed it at Vladimir’s assistant, who stood
defiantly.

“Give that back to me, Pretty, and I promise no
one will get hurt” he smiled creepily, advancing
slowly.

Ignoring his plea, Elmira held the gun tighter
with trembling hands. Growling, he moved to
punch her, but something halted him halfway.

Glancing at his chest, the man saw she had
shot him. Blood spilled from his mouth as he
collapsed.

Gasping, the gun slipped from Elmira’s hands,
and she stepped back, realizing the gravity of
her actions. She had taken a life.

Bumping into someone, she turned to find
Gavino. Unharmed, with only blood sprinkles,
Vladimir has vanished. Perhaps he had given up
and escaped.

“You’ve made Daddy proud, Bina” Gavino smiled
wickedly, gazing at the corpse.

Seizing her waist, he kissed her deeply, leaving
her lips swollen.

“You did a very good job, my little ki||er” he
whispered into her ear, and she felt
goosebumps all over her skin.

Lying on a massage table, naked masseuses
attended to Gavino, gently kneading his body.
The girl on his back demonstrated a better
understanding of her assignment. She used her
Ɲīpplës to trail along his back, ski||fully
massaging his shoulder blades, delivering the
precise kind of massage he desired.

“Your juice, sir” one of the attendants said,
offering him a glass of pineapple juice.

As Gavino relaxed, his iPad rang, and he noticed
Zayn calling via video. Rolling his eyes
dramatically, he accepted the call.

“Whoa! Mamma Mia” Zayn exclaimed,
observing the scene with the naked attendants.

“Shut up and tell me why you’re bothering me”
Gavino snapped.

“I want to know how the deal went” he said,
smoking on the other side.

“Everything went according to plan, but he
escaped” Gavino replied, sipping his juice.

“d@mn that motherf-__-ker!”

Gavino recalled something from the fight.
“There’s a black mamba tattoo on his right arm.

“Which means he’s a member of the Black
Serpents” Zayn explained.

Gavino remembered a similar tattoo from his
past when his family was murdered, though the
image was different.

“Keep digging for more info, and keep me
posted. I need to know everything about them”
he instructed, and Zayn nodded, ending the call.

Returning to his relaxed state, Gavino
contemplated the information, determined to
unravel the mystery surrounding the entire case.

Jinx’s delicate eyelashes parted, yielding to the
intrusion of daylight. She fluttered them in rapid
succession to acclimate to the sudden change
as consciousness enveloped her, flooded with
disjointed memories leading to her disoriented
state.

Gasping, she became aware of her vulnerability,
realizing she was unclothed. Hastily sitting up,
she discovered bruises etched on her thighs.

The ominous click of the door echoed, and Jinx
covered herself with a bedsheet as Chase
entered, his demeanor frigid, gaze devoid of
emotion except for unmistakable loathing.
Ignoring her, he approached a glass enclosure
housing his snake.

“Leave” his voice, husky and cold, commanded.

“Excuse me” Jinx stammered in shock.

“I don’t repeat myself” he declared with a
chilling glare.

Fear mingled within Jinx as she retorted, “Do
you think I’m some wh-_-re or one of those slutty
girls you use? You R@P£D me!”

“R@P£?” Chase chuckled, a twisted smirk playing
on his lips. “I suppose people Mõ@ɲ during rape
these days.”

“I didn’t Mõ@ɲ” she seethed. “I was in tears!”

“Ah, then I must have mistaken that look of
satisfaction on your face” he replied arrogantly.

Anger boiled inside Jinx as she wondered how
one could be so heartless.

“Stop the innocent act; I know you wanted this”
Chase asserted Ç0çƙily.

“I did not—” Jinx began, only to be abruptly cut
off.

“Enough! Get out!” he shouted, sending shivers
down her spine.

“Can I at least shower?” she pleaded after a
moment of heavy silence. “I promise to leave
after that.”

Chase offered no response, engrossed in his
attention on the snake. Taking it as tacit
approval, Jinx gingerly descended from the bed.
As she made her way to the bathroom, a sharp
pain shot through her foot, and she winced on
discovering a syringe and scattered vials on the
floor. Glancing at Chase, she pieced together
the reason for his earlier animalistic behavior.

Under the cold cascade of the shower, the
physical soreness Jinx felt began to subside.

Jinx cautiously entered the kitchen, met by the
stern gaze of her grandma, Madam Rosa.

“Where have you been?” Her voice carried a hint
of anger.

“I… um… went for a walk” she replied nervously.

“A walk?” Madam Rosa raised an eyebrow.

“Yes, I’ve had a lot on my mind lately, so I
needed to clear my head” she explained, trying
to sound convincing.

“I thought you went to serve someone a meal?”
Her grandma’s disbelief lingered.

“I did and went for the walk after that” Jinx
reassured, adding a touch of earnestness.
“Please believe me, Nonna” she pleaded, holding
her hands.

“Bambino (Baby), I’m not against you doing
what you want or love, but please talk to me
first and stop keeping me worried” Madam Rosa
expressed her concern, her touch gentle as she
caressed Jinx’s face.

“I know, Nonna. Sorry I got you worried” she
murmured, embracing her grandma. The
warmth of the hug made smiles creep into their
faces.

In that moment of connection, Jinx couldn’t
help but smile secretly, reminiscing about
everything that had transpired between her and
Chase. Perhaps, she pondered, they were meant
to be after all.

(𝑬𝒍𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒂’𝒔 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎)

Elmira fixated on the wall clock, its hands
incessantly circling. In the silent room, she
yearned to manipulate time, to return to her
ordinary, unburdened days.

Returning with Gavino had transformed her in
unexpected ways. Guilt devoured her, fueled by
haunting memories of the gun, the bullet, and a
lifeless body. These images replayed
incessantly in her once-innocent conscience.

“I am now a murderer” the chilling realization
echoed.

In a desperate attempt to silence her thoughts,
Elmira screamed into her pillow.

“Stop thinking! Stop thinking!!” she pleaded,
striking her head against the soft surface.

A sudden knock on the door halted her. Wide-
eyed, she questioned, “Who is it?!” Then the
realization hit – it might be Gavino. Why would
he knock in his own house?

“I’m a maid, Ma” came the reply. Elmira released
a breath she hadn’t realized she held.

“You can come in” she permitted, composing
herself as the maid entered with a fancy
package.

“Master asked me to give you this” the maid
said sweetly, presenting the gift.

Elmira accepted it and thanked the maid as she
departed. Delving into the bag, she uncovered a
shimmering gold phone pack.

The phone intensified Elmira’s internal conflict.
She hesitated to unbox it, contemplating the
implications of accepting such lavish offerings
tainted by the blood on her hands.

“A gift for ki||ing” she mused, a guilt-laden
chuckle escaping her lips.
