Miss Karen sat down on the floor looking so untidy and tattered, she chewed on her lips in anger.
“Don’t worry Olivia smith when I come out from this hell of a hole am in, I will hunt you down! ” Miss Karen screamed like a mad woman.
The small room in which Miss Karen was, was dark and only a small faint light illuminated from the small square window,
The creaking sound of a door was heard, Miss Karen quickly stood up as she gazed at the door, hopefully.
The door opened and closed but Miss Karen still felt like there was another presence of a person
inside the room but she couldn’t see the person because the the light inside the room was faint.
A dark figure stood in front of the door, a hammer was held in the other hand.
“Who… Who are you?! show your face?!! ” Miss Karen screamed as she gazed around the small room if she could see any weapon.
The figure let out a cold chuckle, and stepped out of the dark,
Miss Karen gasped
It was a figure in an all black and covered its face with a black veil.
Miss Karen tried to raise an alarm when the figure pinned her down on the floor and covered her mouth, tight.
“Shut it…darling” The figured uttered, coldly.
Miss Karen only whimpered, fearfully,
“Say hi to the devil for me” The figure retorted, coldly
The figure used the other side of the hammer and gouged out miss Karen’s eyes, Miss Karen could only struggle and whimper but couldn’t get out of the person’s grip.
The figure raised the hammer and smashed it hard on miss Karen’s head.

<THE NEXT DAY…ALEX’S VILLA>
The sound of birds chirping could be heard, the faint screeching and honking sounds of cars could be heard..
Olivia heard the sound of a door which opened and closed, she struggled and opened her eyes but her vision was still blurry, she hissed as all she felt was pains.
She closed her eyes and opened them again, she flinched when she saw some ladies in uniforms standing in front of her,
“Ugh! ” Olivia gasped.
“Good morning young miss!” They all greeted politely with a slight bow.
Olivia’s eyes widened as she just stared at them like a bloated goat.
“Sorry miss, you’re in sir Alex’s personal mansion, you were badly injured yesterday so he had
to bring you here and called his personal doctor to attend to you” A middle aged woman uttered with a warm smile.
Seems like she was the head maid.
Suddenly, everything that happened yesterday flew into her memory again, Olivia sighed and lowered her head.
“G…good morning…sorry is Sir Alex around….? ” Olivia stuttered, her voice coming out hoarse.
One of the maids handed a glass of water over to her, Olivia drank from it without hesitating,
“Sir Alex is around but he’s having a business meeting inside his office ” The head maid uttered, softly.
“Bonnie drop her clothes on the bed, you all may leave I’ll take it from here” The head maid uttered, seriously.
They all left the room.
“You can call me Jane and what’s yours? ” Miss Jane asked as she sat down on the bed and started giving Olivia a leg massage.
“A…am Olivia smith.. ” Olivia mumbled, awkwardly.
“What a nice name for an angel like you…so you’re the girl confusing our Alex? ” Miss Jane asked with a chuckle.
Olivia gazed at her, confused.
“Ugh? how? ” Olivia uttered, confused.
“So naive…don’t you know? Alex is madly in love with you ” Miss Jane blurted out.
Olivia lowered her head, shyly as she played with her fingers,
“Why won’t I know..it is so obvious and his love for you reflects in his eyes. Yesterday, when he brought you here he was
so heartbroken and sad, he was in tears and looked like a mad man, he even pressurized
everyone inside here both the doctors too that if anything happens to you, he won’t take it lightly with us. ” Miss Jane said with a small sigh.
Olivia smiled, shyly as she itched her nape.
“Do you also love him too or..?” Miss Jane uttered and paused.
Olivia nodded, slowly.
“Yes” She muttered.
“Hmm, if you say so” Miss Jane mumbled and stood up from the bed.
“Sorry…erm, do you know why Alex h@ťěs ladies..? ” Olivia asked, softly.
Miss Jane gazed at Olivia for a while without replying,
“When I first met him…he never did liked me, he even said it that he h@ťěd our gender with
passion..but now am surprised that he’s changed..” Olivia muttered with a faint smile as she recalled how Alex was before.
“I think you should hear from him direct, I can’t tell. ” Miss Jane muttered, seriously and strolled towards the bathroom,
“I’ll prepare your bath for you” She muttered.

After freshening up, Olivia followed Miss Jane downstairs towards the dinning table,
Olivia sat down as she gaped at the delicious delicacies on the table,
“Go ahead and fill your stomach to the brim” Miss Jane uttered with a light chuckle.
Without wasting much time, Olivia dug into the delicious meals,
Suddenly a maid ran to the dinning room, exasperatedly.
“What happened? ” Miss Jane asked, alarmed.
“Have you seen the news this morning? A lady was brutally ki||ed inside a jail! come see for yourself ” The maid uttered, hurriedly.
Olivia choked on her food as she coughed, Miss Jane handed a glass of water to her and she drank,
“What do you mean? Another death again? Oh God who could be doing such? ” Miss Jane uttered, worriedly.
“Can.. I see? ” Olivia stuttered, nervously.
The maid showed Olivia and Miss Jane her phone,
Olivia gasped as fear gripped her,
Isn’t that Miss Karen? though her head was smashed into pieces but she could still pinpoint that it was Miss Karen..
Footsteps were heard from the staircase, the maid, Olivia and Miss Jane glanced towards the staircase, the maid flinched when she saw who it was,
She bowed and quickly left,
Olivia gazed at Alex till he was in front of her, Miss Jane released a slight bow as she turned to Olivia,
“Olivia dear, you should eat so the food won’t get cold ” Miss Jane muttered, softly.
“It’s okay Miss Jane, please leave us” Alex uttered, coolly.
Miss Jane bowed, slightly.
She patted Olivia’s shoulder and left.
“G…good morning sir ” Olivia muttered, softly.
Alex chuckled as he touched her cheek,
“Don’t be so formal with me, just call me Alex am not an old man” Alex uttered, haughtily.
Olivia smiled,
“Good morning Alex ” Olivia retorted, softly.
Alex smiled as he caressed her cheek, gently.
“How do you feel today? are you feeling pains anyway? ” Alex asked carefully.
Olivia shook her head, sideways.
“Alex…miss karen–
“I know, Olivia you have to be careful where ever you go, the mysterious ki||er who ki||ed Miss
Karen is still out there and am sure he or she is after you. ” Alex stated, seriously.
Fear gripped Olivia,
“Why? ” Olivia asked, fearfully.
“I don’t know but you have to be careful wherever you go” Alex uttered, seriously.
Alex lifted Olivia up and dropped her on the table, Olivia let out a soft gasp.
Alex took the plate of chips and chicken as he fed her, Olivia ate from his hand, shyly.
“You know….you don’t have to be shy around me, I mean what if we get married and I decided to do to you what couples normally do.. so you’ll still feel shy?” Alex asked, Ç0çƙily.
Olivia’s eyes widened, as she blushed, heavily.
“See now, aish the more am talking the more it’s getting worst” Alex mumbled and chuckled.
He gazed at Olivia as she blushed, she was looking so innocent and cute, she was putting on a pink crop top and a black flared skirt… She was looking so segzy!

Alex thought and carried Olivia in a bridal style towards the kitchen, he kicked the door open with his leg,
“Get out! ” He ordered, coldly and the maids which were inside the kitchen quickly ran out.
Alex dropped Olivia on the kitchen counter as he gazed at her, lovingly.
“C…can I show you something? ” Alex asked, softly as he caressed her fresh exposed thighs.
Olivia gazed at him and wondered what he wanted to say to her, without much thinking, she nodded.
