🧭IN LOVE WITH MY MÜRDÉRER🧭
❣️EPISODE 3❣️

I walked into my office and locked myself in, I wanted an alone time for my self so I know if I leave the door open, Vicky won’t allow me pour out my emotions and tears the way I wish, she doesn’t likes to see me in tears

Mr Derricks has triggered back this part of my life and memories I have buried aside in one part of my heart

I went into my inner room in my office and lay on my bed as tears and memories flooded my heart. How did I get here was nothing but God’s miraculous hand work

The dêath of my parents at the age of five landed me into an orphanage home as no relation of mine agreed to take me in to care for me. It was Vicky’s mum been our neighbor then that managed to take me in.

She was a single mum with little menial jobs to support herself and child(Vicky) yet she manages to take me in. I and Vicky became very fond of each other because she was a year older than me, the bond was a strong one

When things became so rough for Vicky’s mum that even providing two square meal becomes a big deal for her, she opted out in taking me to the orphanage home

On that very day, Vicky couldn’t hold her tears, she cried so had holding unto me not to go and even begging her mother to let her go with me to the orphanage home but was restricted by the strong hold of her mother

The first few months of me living in an orphanage was a scary one, I was bullied and beaten up by those that where there before me.

I don’t put the blames on the children though, I put it on the caregivers and the guidance of the orphan home. They failed in their line of duty in installing good morals in the kids and also teaching them love and kindness.

I really went through hêll, some nights I had to go to bed on an empty stomach because they didn’t serve us food or because those that are bigger than me will snatched my portion from me out of wîckedness

Sleeping in a compacted room filled with mosquitoes and other insects combined with reptiles were not a joke at all. I know how many times I fall sick and almost died before finally getting used to the environment and developing a tough skin

I watched many children died on daily basis because of improper cares, malnutrition, water born diseases, no medics and lack of funds to to be taken to the hospital when sick

The brutãlity, manhandling and hatred from some caregivers towards the children is alarming and discomforting

When we run out of water and go outside in search of water, it is another treat to our life’s
The lucky children out there who are privelaged enough to live with their parents becomes a torn in our flesh

They don’t only bullies us but they also toys with our self esteem and confidence reducing it to 0%. They calls us smelling pigs and pretends to puke just at our sight. Sometimes they pushes down our water from our heads and ends up breaking our gallons and buckets

When we gets back to the orphanage crying, we will receive lashing instead of consolation,
sometimes too, we starve as a punishment

I remembered when I was 10, I was determined to break free from all the intimidation and maltreatment from my fellow kids in the orphanage homes first. I have had enough from everyone bossing me around and treating me like a trash

So that day, I challenged the overall girl to a dual and she accepted without a second thought. Honestly speaking, I don’t even know what came over me to take that bold step but I guess is all “quest for freedom” not just for me but for others as well

I can vividly remember how the fight went on and on, I received the beating of my life from her that day yet I didn’t stop fighting even when I feel like I was going to die, I still fight on.

I don’t know how it happened, she missed her step and fall flat on the ground, I seized the opportunity to mount on her and was able to land her few punches, I was still on top of her when one of the caregivers stopped us.

My friend had sneaked out to go call her when she thought I was going to pass out.

I automatically became the winner because I was the one on top, I was hailed and cheered by so many including her own girls, I became the leader of the girls and also named the strongest, most feared and respected

I became the leader but with a different agenda, I thought them love and compassion, I thought them how to look out for each other, I made them to understand that we ourselves are the only families we have so we should act as one. I made an impactful and positive changes

It didn’t seat well with some of them but with time they had no choice but to adapt to my governance. I became fraustrated at some point because things weren’t working the way I imagined in my head, but I kept pushing
I learnt patience and tolerance, I learnt that changes doesn’t happen in a go, is a process

Finally my aim was achieved, we became lovers of ourselves, one strong force and inseparable family ties. No more snatching of food from the weak again, nobody goes to bed hungry anymore. If you attracts a punishment of starving, others shares their food with you

Gradually we began to learn confidence and boldness, I have always loved dancing since I was a kid. So I started dancing and few others joined in, I don’t know how I got my dancing moves but it flows naturally. From there, we raised a drummer turned DJ, singers emerged

Anytime we went to fetch water, we dances in the streets and was raising money through that, atimes we stopped by in people’s shops or windows and watch movies or watch new dancing steps in their television.

But we had one sworn enemy from a wealthy family who is determined to destroy us because her parents are wealthy.

Her name is….
