“Hey, I’m Rainbow,” Rainbow said with a broad
smile while offering her palm for a handshake.
Lorenzo walked past her, he didn’t even spare
her another glance, it was as though she wasn’t
even there.
“Hey,” she ran after him, grabbing his arm from
behind, and that made him stop.
“Can we be friends?” She pouted cutely.
“I don’t do sl*ts so never touch me again unless
you have a death wish,” he replied stonily and
began walking away.
“Sl*t? He called her a sl*t, how dare he call her a
sl*t when she was only trying to get his
attention?” Rainbow thought silently as she
stood there staring at his back.
He’s freaking handsome, rich, and muscular just
the way she likes it.
“I think it’s time to visit my sister,” Rainbow
mumbled to herself.

Throughout the drive home Khalid has been
thinking of a perfect way to convince Audrey,
she didn’t look too good today so, he made up
his mind to just wait.
“Where is this place?” Audrey asked, alighting
from his car.
“My house,” he replied.
She glanced at him and then walked to the front
door, Audrey went into the mansion and her jaw
dropped in awe.
She quickly composes herself, looking at the
luxury living room.
“How come you live with your parents?” She
turned to him.
“Was bored and tired of Living alone,” he
shrugged, stopping his wheelchair right behind
her.
“Do I get more toys? Please we have a new
house,” Randy asked staring from Audrey to
Khalid but especially Audrey.
“Honey, we don’t….”
“The second door by your left, check it out,”
Khalid replied, cutting her off.
Randy ran upstairs excitedly, He pushed the
door open and yelled happily while jumping up
and down.
Hearing his voice, Audrey ran upstairs only to
meet the shock of her life. The whole room was
filled with different toys that she couldn’t afford
even though she got 100 Xtra jobs.
“You like it?” Khalid asked and she looked at
him.
“This is too much,” she replied, walking Inside,
she grabbed Randy’s arm but he stopped her by
the door.
“How about we talk,” he offered.
She shook her head negatively, there was no
way she was going to accept something that
would ruin her later, Harrison has taught her
enough lessons.
“Hey, listen. I can also have kids, I decorated this
room myself, for my kids but since they aren’t
born yet the kids in the house can play here,” he
said.
“I need someone to play with too, Mummy!”
Randy said cutely.
“When you grow up you’ll make friends,” Audrey
said.
Randy glances at Khalid.
“Mr. When are your kids coming?” He asked and
Khalid scratched his hair.
“Uhh, in the future,” he replied and Randy ran
inside the room Excitedly.
“I can show you around if you want, then
tomorrow we will go to my penthouse,” Khalid
looked at Audrey.
“How many houses do you have?” She asked
And he shrugged.
“4,” he replied
“Oh,” she went downstairs, settling down on one
of the couches.
Khalid joined her there, his house had an
elevator and sliding part so it was easy to
ascend and descend the stairs.
“If can help you get custody,” he suddenly said
She let out a chuckle.
“No, you can’t,”
“I can, all you have to do is marry me,” she said
as if making a suggestion.
He glanced at him.
“Marriage is sacred,” she replied and closed her
eyes.

“Momma, Kim,” Kim Pouted, making a baby
face.
The woman has refused to talk to her and she
was determined to change her mind.
“I’m really a good kid,” she muttered but still Mrs
Washington didn’t say anything.
She gently dropped the card on the table.
“I can’t keep it, it’s not mine,” she replied, her
head down.
“I gave it to you myself,” Mrs Washington said,
crossing her legs.
Kim nodded.
“Yeah, but I still can’t keep it if you’re mad at
me…”
“I’m not mad at you,” Mrs Washington cut her
off.
“Huh,”
“I gave it to you myself so keep it and let me
know when it needs refill, though it won’t!” She
flashes a smile.

>NEXT DAY~~~ HOSPITAL<
“Dr. Jason,” A female doctor called entering his
office.
Jason who’s staring at the lab results in his
hand glances at her, nodding twice so she
walks fully in.
“Amelia, will be having Brain surgery today,
have you done it before?” He asked
She shook her head negatively.
“You’re my first assistant,” he said and her eye
widened.
“Really?”
“Yeah,”
“Oh, can’t believe I will be assisting with a brain
surgery,” she exclaimed
A moment of happiness passed between them,
and when she noticed that he was staring at his
monitor she arranged her hair.
“Dr. Jason,” she called
“Huh” He looked up
“I like you, do you think we can go beyond boss
and worker? I want you to see me differently like
a man and a woman aspect,” she said, fidgeting
with her fingers
“I really do,” she added the last part
“Amelia, that can’t be possible cos I don’t like
you that way,” he replied not sparing her a
glance.
“Is it Audrey?” She asked
Jason was silent.
“I know she has always been the one you liked
even before leaving for Vegas and till now you
still like her. You’re too good for her and she
doesn’t deserve someone like you, Audrey is
trouble and….”
“That’s enough Dr, you can go now!” He cut her
off instantly.
“Dr. Jason….”
“We are here to save lives not share affection,
get back to your senses or I’m dropping you,” he
walked out of his office, leaving her behind.

Stood in front of his mirror dressing up, he’d
thought about what Audrey told him yesterday.
She’d given him a clue so going after her won’t
be good.
He didn’t deny that he was rude to Kim the other
day, she helped him and if he’s to stay close to
her, she will help him again.
He f-__-ked Delilah and got her pregnant and now
his stupid heart craves the same woman he’s
100% sure his brother is into.
“It’s late now my stupid heart,” he mumbled,
taking his briefcase.
He needed to make things right, this family
gathering won’t go too well if he f-__-k up and he
won’t want others to notice their scandal.
“It is time to make a decision,” he walked out of
his room.

from behind.

Without saying anything she began walking
away so he followed her, Jackson crossed his
hand over her shoulder.

A minute passed and Kim looked around then
back at him.
“Where is she?” She asked
“Catcher,” he winked, pretending to $h00t her
with his fingers while making a gunshot sound
with his mouth.
“Unbelievable,” she hissed and walked away.
Jackson laughed.
“Hey, who’s that one? She’ve got some Kīllêr âss
you know,” Knight asked, standing beside him.
“Don’t even go there,” Jackson pock his chest.
“Seriously man, who’s she? I need that åss to
bounce on my bed, just for one night okay
maybe two but I’m paying for it,” Knight said
desperately.
“I think we’ve got what we came for,” Jackson
held his jacket, pulling him outside.
“I’m serious man,” He said In Protest but
Jackson pulled him out of the store.
“Why are you acting up?”
“Just leave her alone, okay!” Jackson said with
seriousness and Knight gave him a suspicious
glare.

By the time Kim got home Lorenzo was at their
doorstep, choking out a scoff, walking boldly
towards the door.
“What?” She opened her door and went in, but
stopped and turned back to him.
Meanwhile, Rainbow was coming to Audrey’s
place when she saw them.
“May I?” He asked, gesturing for her to move
away but she didn’t.
” Audrey Is not home,” she replied rudely.
Lorenzo chuckled.
“I didn’t come for her?” He said and she hissed
then rolled her eyes.
“Then why are you here?”
“I want to f-__-k you,” his voice was rough,
sending shivers of sensation down her spine.

“I’m a straightforward guy, a very impatient
man,” he said replied.
“And if I don’t want….” she was still saying, but
he swiftly pulled her against him.

she lifted an eyebrow, shocked at his demand
as she collected her thoughts. Now she knows

“I just sent you the address, meet me there,” she
ended the call.
Lorenzo was hers and she with do anything to
get him. Even though it means ruining Kim’s life
all over again.

“Try moving your leg,” Audrey said, squatting in
front of Khalid.
“Have been trying….”
“Try again,” she leaned in, tangling her hand
around his neck, Khalid reached for her waist.

Audrey Arranged his shirt, disappointing

“Looks better now,” she said and squatted to his
level again.
He frowned.
“What?” She chuckled, hitting him playfully.
“What do you think I was going to do?” She
asked teasingly and he rolled his eyes.
“Ms, a moment please,” a doctor said And she
nodded.
“Be right back,”
A few minutes passed and she walked out of
the doctor’s office with Khalid’s medicine, she
was still walking down the hallway when Delilah
blocked her.
“What?”
Delilah smiled dangerously.
“Just a quick advice, Khalid is mine so stay
away from him,” she warned her.
Audrey stepped closer.
“He’s right there, why not go get him? Why
bother me that is doing my job?” She asked, as
though she was not bothered about Delilah.
“Don’t even think you can play smart cos I’m
smarter…”
“Delilah you’re a chameleon, and I know your
attitude, I will fix what you have broken and
expose you cos you’ll not succeed with
wh@ťěver your plans are this time,” Audrey said
with a challenging look on her face.
She walked past but Delilah pulled her back.
“Have worked so hard all my life, have done a
lot of horrible things that I don’t give a $h|t
about, if you try to stand on my path then you
won’t like it,” Delilah replied
“Very well,” Audrey Walked past.
Delilah gritted her teeth. How dare that brat
challenge her? Who the h*ll does she think she
is? Maybe she should send a direct message to
her.
Delilah stormed off, it took her just five minutes
to arrive at the hospital where Audrey’s Mom
was kept.
When she entered as a doctor after disguising
herself, two nurses were checking the woman.
“Leave us,” she ordered
One of the nurses made to protest but the other
way dragged her outside, Delilah could hear
them arguing about questioning doctors.
She scoffed.
“Sleep on, your daughter should learn to mind
her business time,” she Injected the woman then
smirked evilly.
“What are you two doing outside?” She heard a
male voice from outside, quickly she injected
the woman again.
“A doctor is checking on her,” she heard one of
the nurses say.
“I specifically told you two to wait until she’s
awake, didn’t I?” The male voice asked, getting a
little bit high this time.
“Dr….”
The door burst open instantly and Jason came
in, followed by two of the nurses, he paused at
the door, staring at the sleeping woman as if he
could make out what was wrong.
“Did you give her any medicine?” He asked
walking towards the bed, the nurses followed.
They both shook their head at the same time.
“Who was the doctor?” He asked while checking
Audrey’s Mom.
“She was wearing a nose mask….”
“Find whoever it was, she’s dead,” Dr. Jason
said cutting her off.
Their eyes widened.
“But she was breathing when the Doctor came
in,” one of the nurses said fearfully.
“Time of death, 2:25 P.M. 11 September 2038,”
Jason said while glancing at his wristwatch.
“Call Audrey,” he added and turned off the life
support.
“Alert the security, find the mystery doctor,” he
instructed and the other nurse nodded before
rushing out.
Minutes after they left Delilah crawled out from
under the bed then smirked.
“Your daughter kîlled you not me, and if she
doesn’t mind her business your grandchild will
come visit you,” she hissed and walked out.
>20 MINUTES LATER<
Audrey rushed into the ward, but her mother had
been moved to the morgue. She ran out only to
meet Jason but she didn’t stop running.
“Audrey,” Jason rushed to her.
“Where is my Mom? It’s a prank, right? I saw her
yesterday and she was fine. I need to tell her
something,” she said rushing her word
She made to walk past him but Jason held her
hands.
“It’s over Audrey….”
“No, I need to tell her something, I told you
yesterday that I needed to tell her something,
she can’t leave without hearing it. She was just
fine yesterday and today I planned to tell her…”
Jason pulled her into a tight hug.
He held her tightly as she struggled to break
free, she continued struggling until she began to
come down, her tears wetting his lab coat as
she clung to him sobbing.
Jason ran his hand up and down her back,
consoling her.
Meanwhile, Amelia was watching with her heart
pounding with hatred and Jealousy.
She’d gone to their hospital in Las Vegas and
now she’s back for her love only for him to keep
loving the same old Audrey that has been an
obstacle all these years.
“It’s okay,” Dr. Jason pulled away but, Her knees
gave out and she fell, losing consciousness.
Luckily, he was quick to catch her before she
could hit the ground.
“I will take it from here, gently place her on my
lap,” Khalid said driving towards them in his
wheelchair.
“And why should I do that?” Dr. Jason asked
possessively.
“Because she’s safe with me,” Khalid reached
for Audrey but Jason moved back.
“I will take her home myself….”
“Why should I let you do that? You’re a doctor,
not her father so f-__-king hand her over before
you get it…..”
“And are you her father??”
