✿✿✿TEST✿✿✿
We entered and the house and I met Hex taking
to some mens, his eyes landed on my
immediately and he gave me sign to sit which I
did.
“You must be hungry because we didn’t eat
while coming” he said and I nodded.
Then he called the waiter, I don’t even know
there is a waiter here.
“Hi what are you ordering” she asked me.
“Ummm just fried rice and chicken”I said and
she nodded and left.
Hex and his mens continued with there
discussion but I don’t want to put my mind on
what they are saying so I brought out my phone
and started operating.
But I got a feeling that someone was watching
me, I looked up and saw jasper glaring me.
Why is he looking at me.
Almost immediately the waiter came with the
food and dished it out.
I picked the spoon to start eating but jasper was
still glaring at me. I did not feel comfortable
again, I lost appetite
“Are you okay” hex asked seems he noticed my
behavior.
“I just don’t want to stay here, I want to have
some rest”I said the half truth.
“Are you okay”Betty asked
“Am okay but I gonna go home”I replied.
“The meeting is over, we will meet tomorrow
morning” Hex said and everyone looked at him
in surprise. Is he ending the meeting just
because of me.
“Common let go” he said and we stood up and
left.
We arrived at the car park and entered the car.
“Are you okay” he asked again.
“Am okay is just that am a bit tried”I replied.
“Tried of what exactly, you have not done work,
or is it because of last night”he asked.
“Gosh can you stop bringing that up”My face
turned red.
“But you are blushing”I said again.
“You are super annoying”I said and he smiled.
Am now comfortable now, at least jasper won’t
be glaring at me like I stole his thing.
We arrived the mansion and went inside.
Am hungry already maybe because I didn’t eat
any reasonable thing there.
I called Anita and asked her to cook for me,
which she did immediately.

I woke up the next morning with so much
discomfort.
I looked and found out am the only one in bed,
where is Hex.
I saw a note on the night stand, I opened it and
found out it was Hex’s writing.
BABY, GOOD MORNING ANY TIME YOU ARE
SEEING THIS, U LEFT BECAUSE I HAVE
SOMETHINGS TO HANDLE AND I DON’T WANT
TO WAKE YOU UP FROM YOUR BEAUTIFUL
SLEEP, BETTY WILL COME AND STAY WITH
YOU WHEN SHE IS DONE WITH THE WORK I
SENT HER.

I dropped the papper and sat up on the bed and
buried my face in my palm. I was feeling a light
head ache.
Just then, I strange urge to puke and I rushed
into the toilet immediately, releasing all the
content in my mouth.
What the heck?
I washed my mouth and looked into the wall
mirror in front of me.
Why did I have to puke this early? I can’t
remember the last time I puked.
I washed my face and returned to the room and
there I found Anita, dropping a tray of meal on
the table.
“Hey Amber” she called as she gave me a
glance and took her eyes back to what she was
doing.
I took a deep breath and walked fully into the
room, sitting on the bed.
“Good morning” I said tiredly.
“Good morning, Amber. Are you…… okay? You
look kinda weak” she asked and I sighed.
“I’m…..im fine. I just…… don’t worry about it “I
replied and she shrugging and sat beside me.
“I brought you your food”she said.
I nodded and opened the meal.
It was bread and eggs.
I took a slice of bread and fixed some eggs into
it.
It used to be my favorite, but this morning, it
suddenly felt petulant by it.
I tried to take in a bite and as soon I did, I rushed
into the toilet, throwing up immediately.
Oh, mercies.
“Amber!”Anita called, surprised as she stood
behind me.
I breathed heavily and washed my mouth.
“What is wrong with you”she asked.
I…. I just don’t feel like eating the meal “I replied,
facing the washbasin.
I narrowed my eyes at her.
“What’s… What’s wrong”? I asked, wondering
why she was staring at me that way.
“Do you take pills each time you have
intercourse with Boss?” She asked and I
scoffed.
“What pills?” I asked.
“Obviously, you don’t Amber”she gasped.
“Do Boss put on an protection”she asked again
and it became to annoy me.
“No, what are you taking about”I asked.
“Don’t you think you might be….pregnant”
“I don’t understand you want are you talking
about”
“You…. you’re obviously possessing the
symptom of pregnancy. I’ve read it and these
are the symptom.
“Hold on”she said and left the room.
“I went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed.
Am I really pregnant?
I shook my head and looked at the food. Just
staring and it was making me puke again
I sighed and took my eyes away.
The door opened after a little while and Anita
came in, holding something that looked like a
piece of papper.
I stood up immediately.
“Amber”she called as she stood in front of me.
“This is a test tube. You need to carry out a
pregnancy test”
I quickly recognize the thing she was holding an
HPT( HOME PREGNANCY TEST)
I collected it
“Ummm I don’t know how to use it”
“Here is how to use it. Go to the toilet,wee in a
bottle or something: then insert the tube into the
urine and watch out for the red line,then it’s
negative. But If the line comes up two,then it’s
positive. Come on: try it”she explained with so
much enthusiasm.
I entered the toilet room, am nervous.
I was felt my heart beating so fast, I suddenly
became scared.
I wee into a small container and inserted the
test tube like she said.
My hands wavered as I held the test tube. I
could only see one line..
According to her, that mean it was negative,
right.
I took a deep breath.
I brought out the tube from the bottle and threw
the urine away.
Oh, goddess! How could Anita try to make me
this scared?.
I should probably show the results to her.
I looked back at the test tube into my hand and
saw something that almost made me scream.
The lines…….
The second line.
It did came up.
There were two lines!
What?
Am pregnant.
