*At the hospital*
Jakes rushed into the parking lot and rushed
out today he had no bodyguards.
He was genuinely worried about Erica. But
before he could even step foot into the hospital
a tall bulky man pulled him into a black truck
and covered his mouth with some sort of
handkerchief that had a sleeping effect. He
immediately involuntarily dozed off.
*The hotel*
Awhile later….
“Big brother are you sure he will wake up?” Eric
asked glancing at the unconscious Jakes.
“Yeah, the drug wasn’t that strong.” Noah
mumbled.
Just as he said this Jakes opened his eyes
slowly letting his eyes get used to the light in
the room. And then checking if his hands was
tied before glancing at the two with furrowed
brows.
“Why didn’t you tie me if you wanted
something? And if you don’t want anything why
did you bring me here?” Jakes asked.
“Yeah, I wanna do something I wanna beat the
crap out of you for hurting my sister. ” Eric said
smirking.” Do you let me do that?”
“Yeah, but after I see how Erica is doing.” James
said at this moment he could let Eric k*ll him for
his mistake as long as Erica forgave her.
“Actions speak louder than words lemme make
you a cripple and see how you survive.” Eric
smirked.
“But I badly need to see her.” Jakes said.
“Ok you too we can settle all this once Erica
wakes up and we are done dealing with that
Johnson family.” Noah mumbled.
“Wait what? The Johnson’s what did they do?”
Jakes asked.
“When Erica had an accident the Johnson’s
mistakenly found out.” Eric explained.
“Yeah, as her legal parents they have to know
about her condition. I don’t see what’s wrong
with that.” James said in a flat tone.
“You have to know that the entire Johnson
family has always been against Erica right?
Well it’s probably because she is the rightful
owner of the E&J company left behind for her
by mother. So the entire Johnson’s have been
trying to find a way to make her sign the
contract to give the company to them. Right
now that she has lost her memory/ might have
lost her memory is a pretty good opportunity for
them to make her sign the contract.
And also the pair of mother and daughter have
been seeking revenge after she ruined their last
banquet and embarrassed them. Thus is also a
good opportunity for them to punish her. We are
taking the evidence so that we can arrest the
entire family at once and get rid of this obstacle
for her.” Noah said.
“So this is it. But if the pair of mother and
daughter are looking for revenge they will most
certainly hurt her.” Jakes said.
“Yeah, that’s what I have been saying.” Eric
smiled.
“Yes, they will hurt Erica but this is the best
method to tame them. And Erica won’t suffer
too much in their hands I promise. Just give me
these three days and I will slowly deal with thus
family.” Noah said sadly.
“Ok. But make sure Erica doesn’t get too hurt or I
won’t really hesitate to get in there and just get
rid of them at once.” James smiled.
“Don’t worry about this. As her brother I am sure
she won’t suffer so much. ” Noah smiled. “And
she can withstand this for the next three days.
As long as father Johnson is there this pair
won’t dare to do too much to her or he will
notice.”
“Ok.” Jakes said tryna calm himself down.
“Where are the kids?”
“Hahaha, it’s late do you think they are night
owls?” Eric joked.
*Next day*
*Hunt Mansion*
“I can’t believe that bug p*rverted brother of
mine can think like this. I mean seriously! How
dare he thinks I am gonna f*çk that plain
woman of his. He isn’t even that good. Do I look
more handsome than him is that why he would
think like that? But who wouldn’t feel depressed
if they had such a handsome younger brother
huh? I am hitter than him so he doesn’t trust
me.
But I don’t blame him with my looks I can just
take one picture and I have joined the
entertainment industry and caused a sensation.
” James smirked as he continued to complain
about what happened last night not noticing
that Jakes was standing behind him.
“What did you say?” Jakes asked.
“Ha!” James shouted turning to look behind
him. ” oh big brother. I didn’t say anything! Dud
you hear anything?” James asked.
“I heard everything.” Jakes said in an indifferent
tone.
“Oh big brother what I meant to say was….”
James was lost for words.
“Don’t worry. I wanted to….” Jakes trailed off
then cleared his throat and said.” Apologize to
you. I am sorry for wrongly accusing you
James.”
“What did you say? I think my ears are
mulfunctioning can you repeat that?” James
said taking his phone out to take a videos.
“James! I don’t wanna argue with you for no
reason so we’d better leave it at that!” Jakes
shouted storming up the stairs.
“Is is just me or dud the Great King of Hades
apologize to me! Oh god must have put a lucky
charm blessing on me somewhere. He just
apologized to me! Me! An entire me! Dear God
please make sure my brother is still sane! And
of course the same person!” James shouted.
“Oh but can he apologize to me more? The word
‘sorry’ sounds sweet on his lips.” He giggled and
grinned jumping up and down.

*Ancestral house*
Josephine kept calling Eric so much her phones
battery was dying.
Finally he answered.
📱”What’s going on? Why did Noah leave in a
hurry?” Josephine mumbled in a rush.
📱”It’s nothing to worry about Josephine. Just
take care of Natalia. I Erica and Noah will be
back in awhile. And her kids too.” Eric mumbled.
📱”What happened?! If you don’t tell me I will
book a plane to Mexico right now!” Josephine
shouted.
📱”Josephine! Stay put over there and protect
Natalia it’s not so safe thus side! Ok? We will be
back in three days. ” Eric said.
📱”Eric! What’s going on?!” Josephine shouted.
📱(A flesh hitting flesh sound) ” look Josephine
lemme deal with thus first and we will speak
later.” Eric said dropping the phone.
“What the f*çk is going on?” Josephine asked
furrowing her brows.
“They are probably just busy.” Natalia said as
she finally came from behind the door.
“How long have you been standing there?”
Josephine asked.
“Long enough to know that you have been
disturbing the two. Let them deal with this and
they will come back to explain the situation to
us.” Natalia said.
“What if they don’t survive?” Josephine asked.
“I told you all that finding that Erica was a bad
idea in the beginning. You will only have
yourselves to blame for this.” Natalia said
naturally before walking into her room.
“If anything happens to them. Erica you won’t
live such a nice life.” Josephine said a small
frown on her face.
If finding Erica was thus troublesome. Then
what was the use of even trying?,

*Hospital*
*Third day*
Erica finally opened her heavy eyes as her doe
like eyes watered. Her fingers twitched and she
groaned in pain.
“Oh you are finally awake?!” Nelly said with an
evil smile.
Erica stared at her frowning.
Her lips twitched but she couldn’t say a word.
“Don’t worry. I will call Dad over!” Nelly shouted
noticing Erica’s furrowed brows.

Nelly thought giggling as she called for the
doctor.
“The patient’s Condition is ok. ” the doctor said.
“Get thus Ɓîtçh out of my ward!” Erica shouted.
“She seems to have not lost her memory.” The
doctor reported.
“Get her out!” Erica shouted.” Wait, where are my
babies? Where are they?”
“Sister. Jakes too them remember?” Eric asked.
“Jakes can’t do that he didn’t take them?! He
doesn’t know anything.” Erica said trying to
stand up.” Wait why can’t I feel my legs do I
have legs? Why can’t I move my hands? What’s
going on!” She cried.
“Relax.” Eric said and the doctor gave Erica
anesthesia.
“She will wake up in the next hour or so. Prepare
to tell her.” The doctor said.
“What are you doing here?!” Mother Johnson
shouted as soon as she walked into the ward.
“Came to see my sister’s condition. She seems
to not want you.” Eric smirked.
“I am her mother. Of course she will want me!”
Mother Johnson said.
“Adoptive.” Eric smirked and a film of all those
brutal things they had done to Erica played on
the TV screen of the VIP ward.
“I wonder what the public will say when they see
this. It’s quite interesting wrote father Johnson?”
Noah said smiling as he walked in.
“What what?! Why dud you do that?!” Father
Johnson shouted.
“Husband I…” Mother Johnson stuttered.
“It’s no use biting each other’s heads now.
Anyway. I was wondering if I should share this
to the public.” Noah said frowning slightly.
“What do you want?!” Father Johnson shouted.
“Oh that’s up to Erica. We will decide once she
has healed. So for now you can just take your
leave and let us take care of our sister.” Noah
smirked.
“What?! I am her father!” Father Johnson
shouted.
“We both know that that’s in name.” Noah said
in an indifferent tone.
Father Johnson was left speechless and left
with his family in a hurry.
“Is this all?!” Eric asked thinking that Erica had
suffered too much for such a small price.
“It’s all up to her. It’s her war. Not ours. We
shouldn’t let her find out about this recording.
You must remember that she wanted to do this
by herself.” Noah smiled.” Don’t interfere unless
she needs it.
“Ok.” Eric said in a low tone.
*Outside the ward*
“Doctor what caused her to lose the memory of
Jakes taking the kids?” Noah asked as soon as
he was alone with the doctor.
He had heard Erica’s words before she was
given anasthetia.
“It’s because the patient is blocking these
memories. She doesn’t wanna remember so her
brain blocked it out. She doesn’t remember
anything about the scene of the accident
because they are all bad memories I think. ” the
doctor said.
Eric nodded deep in thought.
^is this the reason she doesn’t remember me
from that night. It was a horrible night I must
admit. ^ he thought inwardly.
