★CHAPTER 18~19★

“And who are you?” President Tommaso asked angrily, glaring dangerously at Emiliana.
“His maid” She replied boldly again and President Tommaso gave her a disgusted look before taking his hand roughly from her.
“A common maid and you have the boldness to grab my hand? How dare you” President Tommaso yelled and hit Emiliana on the face.
“Father” Leonardo gasped and pulled Emiliana to himself.
“What do you think you are doing?” Leonardo asked, getting angry already.
“Rectify the mess you made” President Tommaso said and stepped back.
He left just like how he came in.
Leonardo turned Emiliana around and they faced each other.
“Why did you do it?” He asked gently.
“I know you won’t stop him, are you angry?” She asked.
“Do I look angry? My father validates the company more than me, I think I should stop being a pauper to Bianca, I have taken enough of her maltreatment” He said.
“Don’t h@ťě her please”
“I didn’t say anything about hating her but should I continue being a fool just because of love?” He asked.
“No” She replied and he noticed her red cheek, it was so red because of the heaviness of the slap.
“I’m sorry for the slap” He said and brought his hand to her cheek.
“Sir” She gasped.
“Don’t move” He said and started rubbing his thumb on her cheek. Emiliana bit her lips and swallowed hard.
Bianca came downstairs that minute and immediately she saw the scene before her and she stopped, and started staring hard at them.
Emiliana was trying not to look at Leonardo’s face as he rubbed her cheek, her eyes suddenly saw Bianca and she stepped back sharply.
“Sir I’m fine” She said and Leonardo turned to see Bianca staring at them.
“You took the slap for me so it’s my duty to make sure you are okay” He said and took her hand.
“Let’s go get ice in the kitchen” He said and left with her. He didn’t even look at Bianca again.
Bianca swallowed hard and continued staring endlessly, she suddenly went back upstairs, forgetting what she came downstairs to do.
Leonardo got to the kitchen with Emiliana and he made her sit on a kitchen stool. He took the ice pack and started pressing it gently on her cheek.
“Don’t do that again” He said and she looked into his eyes.
“I mean don’t take a slap because of me next time” He said and she blinked.
“I can’t promise that” She replied.
“Don’t be stubborn” He smiled.
“I’m a good girl”
“But you have a stubborn side too, you are cool just because you are a maid here” He laughed and she looked away.
Emiliana kept looking at him as he pressed the ice pack on her cheek till she suddenly took his hand away.
“I’m fine” She muttered gently and stood up.
She took the ice pack to the freezer and put it there.
“Thank you sir, goodnight” She said and started leaving.
“I kissed you last night” His voice came from behind and she stopped abruptly.
She quickly felt his presence behind her and before she could blink he was in her front.
Emiliana started sucking her lips in embarrassment.
“Do you think I will not remember?” He asked lifting her chin up so he could look into her eyes.
“I thought….you didn’t remember it” She stuttered slightly.
“I have a good memory” He smiled.
“Are you feeling bad?” He asked and she kept silent.
“Do you want me to say it’s a mistake?” He asked gently.
“Sir….
“Good night” He interrupted and left her immediately.
Emiliana sighed and she smiled all of sudden. He didn’t see the kiss as a mistake?
She started smiling widely.
