Ji hoo POV
I sent the picture to the principal and add the tag ‘no going back with immediate effect’
I dialed his number to confirm if he have seen my message and he replied and ‘yes’. I hung up the call and tears fell from my eyes as I looked at her with pitiful eyes.
Lee Sun stood from the chair and walked to me, he touched my shoulder and I looked at him.
Lee sun POV
“You need to be strong, you can’t be like this. You’re the one that will console her when she wakes.” I said and he nodded.
“See what they turn her into, her hair. See her skin? See bruise, her legs.” Ji hoo said.
“Is okay dear, she will be fine. I need to leave now for Nana’s house to inform Grandma that she had an accident. She needs to know because I don’t think she will be discharged today.
“See her condition, lemme quickly go and tell her.” I added and Ji hoo cut in.
“Don’t worry, I will go and bring her here. Let me go, you wait here and take care of her.
“No! Ji hoo you can’t go, you are not calm. You might have had an accident. Please let me go quickly.” I said and left him standing.
Ji hoo POV
The doctor came out from Nana ward, I asked him if I could check on her which he nodded and I rushed in.
Nana’s head was bandaged, they’ve cleaned her bruises and dripped it pass to her body through hand. I sit in a chair close to her bed.
“Nana, I’m sorry for everything. I don’t know how you are feeling but my heart is f
hurt because you are hurt. Pls open your eyes.” I said and held her second hand.
I held her hand, rubbing it in my palm.
“Nana, please wake up. You need to wake up, I want to apologize, I will make you happy forever. I will get revenge for you tomorrow. Please wake up. ” I said and my phone rang which distracted me.
I picked up my phone and realised it’s my mum, I dragged the icon to the green button and didn’t talk.
“Hello darling, it’s been awhile. Mummy misses you. Where are you?” She asked but got no response.
“Hello? Are you there? Ji hoo,” She continued talking but no response.
I hung the call and put my phone on her bed stand. She called again but I didn’t pick it up.
“Nana wake up, I will take revenge on you. You will be fine, trust me!” I said and a doctor entered her ward.
Doctor POV
I entered and found him caressing her hand, I cleared my throat to distract him.
“Excuse me sir, she needs some rest for now. Her condition is critical but I thank God that you brought her here early. Pls give her some time to rest.” I said and he nodded.
“Thank you, when will she open her eyes?” He asked.
Lee sun POV
I alighted from my car and walked to Nana house, I knocked on Nana’s house and an old woman came out.
“Good evening ma’am, I’m Lee Sun, Nana’s friend. I came to inform you that Nana has been rushed to hospital because she had an accident.” I said and she burst into tears.
“What happened to my Nana? Please tell me? Where is she? Nothing must happen to her, she is the only one I have. Which hospital?” She asked in tears.
“Let’s go, please let’s go. She said and entered the car. I drove fastly to the hospital.
The old woman didn’t stop crying as I drove. After driving for a few minutes, I reached the hospital and guided her to Nana ward.
We entered and I found Ji hoo sitting next to her bed crying, I tapped him and looked at me with teary eyes.
“Ji hoo, I tapped him and he looked up.
“Grandma is here,” I said and he faked out a smile.
He stood up and bowed before her. Grandma sat in the seat and caressed Nana’s hand.
“Nana pls wake up, you know you’re the only one I have. You are my daughter, my heartbeat. Please wake up.” She said in tears.
JI hoo POV
I wiped my tears and moved close to Grandma who was crying. I crossed my hand across her neck and whispered to her ear.
“She will be a fine mum, and be calm. The doctor said she needed some rest. She will wake up soon.” I said and Grandma stood up and hugged me.
“Thank you, my son. How much is the bill? I need to leave now and get the money.” The old woman said and I smiled.
“Don’t worry grandma, have paid for it. She will be fine after having a good rest. Grandma, you need to go home to rest. I will stay with her. She is safe, don’t worry. She will be fine soon.” I added and she held my hand.
Grandma POV
“Thank you my son, I can’t go home. How can I sleep without her? I can’t eat without her. She is my happiness, I will stay here till she is fine.” I said touching her cheeks.
They move close to me and they both bend before me.
“Grandma keep calm, she will be fine. You need to rest, please ma. Lee sun begged and I smiled.
“Grandma be calm, I will arrange a room for you in the hospital where you can rest too. I will go out now to get you food before you sleep.” Ji hoo said and I nodded.
They left my presence.
Some minutes later, they came in and took me to a room in the hospital. They gave me food and drinks. They pet and begged me to eat, which I obeyed after their long persuasion.
A lady entered and she was instructed to take care of me. The two friends bowed and left.
Ji hoo POV
“I don’t know how to appreciate you, but thanks for staying by my side. Thanks for everything.” I appreciated it and he smiled.
“You are my half part, your happiness is my concern. It’s my duty.” He said.
“Let’s take some food before you go back home. I’m hungry,” I said and touched my stomach.
We both went to a nearby cafeteria to have our dinner. We chit chat as we eat, Lee sun starts the engine and drives home. I went back to the hospital and felt a little calm.
I entered and was shocked to see ….
