She turned slowly to look at who was holding her hand and the moment she did,what met her was a thunderous slap which sent her to the floor roughly.
Everyone gasped shockingly, including Vanessa.
Mariam held her cheek shockingly,looking at tony with wide mouth.
Wait,what just happened? Did tony slap her or was this some kind of stupid imagination?
“Did…did..did you just slap me cos of that thing?”Mariam found her voice to ask,still on the floor thou.
Tony made an attempt to reply,but Kenn beat him to it.
“No tell me why he no go slap you,thank God say tony don already give you slap. Na solo beating I be wan give you!”Kenn said furiously and Mariam gasped loudly.
“So you’ll have turned your back on me cos of that thing huh?”Mariam asks unbelievably but they scoffed.
“We’ve been friends for years Mariam,but you wanna destroy everything with your own hands. Why would you slap the girl? What’s her offense? I’m already getting tired of you yunno”Tessa said and Mariam turned sharply to her too.
“Jeez,Tessa even you too? Are you guys kidding me?”Mariam asks.
“No one is kidding you here Mariam,you took things far. Haba!!”Amanda rolled eye.
“So nobody is seeing things from my own side huh? You’ll are just taking side with this thing seriously?”She asks, already in tears.
“Hmmm,it’s not about taking side Mariam,it’s about the truth. You and I know that you’re wrong….”
“You’ll should stop! Just f-__-king stop”She cut victor off in anger.
“It’s..it’s..all my fault!”Vanessa stuttered with her head bent down and Mariam turned to her with a chuckle.
“It’s all your fault right? You’re just sounding pathetic. Everyone sees me as the bad egg now and is all thanks to you. My friends have never ever raised their voice at me but what just happened now? I was slapped cos of you and you think it’s funny huh? I h@ťě you Vanessa,I really do”She yelled angrily and stood up,then dashed out of the room.
“Don’t worry, I’ll talk to her”Tessa patted Tony’s shoulder and he smiled lightly.
“Your lips is bleeding,let’s attend to it”Tony said, trying to pull Vanessa towards the bed,but she didn’t budge.
“What?”He turned to her and ask.
“I don’t wanna cause any more trouble please”She hiccuped and Tony sighed.
“Come here joor”He pulled her to the bed,she sat down while tony went to get the kit.
He came back,then pulled out a chair and sat before her.
He brought out the cotton,then began wiping the blood off her lips slowly.
His friends exchanged looks and couldn’t help but smile at how careful and caring he was attending to her.
Vanessa gulped, looking at Tony’s face. Now that she thinks of it,or will i rather say now that they’re this close,she couldn’t help but drool over his handsome face.
From the way his hands moved slowly on her lips,to the way he was blowing air occasionally,the way his eyes moved, his spotless face and his deep charming white eyes,to his pointed nose,his reddish lips and his sharp jawline.
Everything about him screams perfectness,if only one could go by the name perfect,then this guy here gets the name.
Tony blinked handsomely,then lifted his eyes which locked with Vanessa’s own,for a moment Vanessa felt her breath hitching.
“Does it hurt?”Tony asks her and she shook her head,while blinking repeatedly.
“I’m sorry thou,that she did that!”Tony smiled, rubbing her cheek with his thumb and Vanessa could feel her liquid, running down between her legs.
She shook her head and clapped her thighs together while scolding herself inwardly.
“Yeah,yeah, yeah. What’s wrong with you Vanessa? f-__-king get a grip okay? Not like he’s more handsome than my boyfriend”She scolded inwardly then scoffed out.
“Sorry dear”Tessa smiled and Vanessa nodded.
“Wetin carry una come?”Tony asks them,after he was done.
“Don’t tell me you have forgotten the party dude!!”Kenn rolled eye and Tony gasped.
“Omorr,na true ooo. I don forget am since”He scratched his head and Victor glared at him.
“You see your life bro?”He scoffs and Tony twitched his lips.
“I wan understand something Fess,the party never even reach sef. Na tomorrow night oo,why una wan chop me when I’m still alive nii?”He asks them and they scoffed.
“You know,you have a low retaining memory,you might forget again”Amanda scoffed and Tony looked at her.
“My friend better keep shut, who has a low retaining memory huh? I Sha no blame you nii”he rolled eye.
“Yeah,I was meaning to ask if Vanessa will go with us,abi she can stay alone?”Tessa asks and Tony turned to look at Vanessa.
“You go go?”He asks her.
“I…I.. don’t know”She took her bottom lips in.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to come with her”tony waved and they changed topic, discussing about school life and all that.

Mariam gulped the whole content in the cup then kept it back on the table.
“You haven’t told me what happened oo”Sam said and Mariam turned to him in anger.
“You,I’m blaming you for this. It’s your f-__-king fault!!”She half yelled and Sam looked at her with wide eye.
“My fault where Abeg? Wetin I do?”He asks ignorantly.
“Yah! He’s still asking me. What’s so difficult in what I told you to do niboo? What’s difficult?”Mariam said again and Sam scratched his head.
“Oh that,I was even planning to give up. Why would I play with a girl’s feeling huh? That’s pure wickedness yunno”Sam shook his head and Mariam chuckled.
“What’s playing with her feelings in what I told you to do? Get her hooked up,make her notice you and you alone so she wouldn’t have time to look at my tony,is that what you call playing with her feelings?”Mariam asks and Sam scoffed.
“And what if she falls huh?”He retorted.
“That’s what I want Sam!! Can’t you do this for your little sis?”She pouted and Sam sighed heavily.
“Yunno,I’m even regretting why I accepted this is the first place. Which planet are you from huh? You want her to fall in love with me but you’re 100% sure that I have a fiancee right? So what’s up with you?”Sam asked and Mariam pouted.
“Sam,I know…I just don’t want to hurt her,that’s why I’m telling you to help in this. Once you’ve gotten her hooked up,she won’t even look at tony. Please please please”She pleaded and Sam rolled eye.
“I give up okay? Just so you know,I’ll be leaving next week. I have lots of thing’s to do, staying here when I’m not a student isn’t helpful at all”Sam said and Mariam twitched her lips.
“So you won’t help your sis? You’re wicked Sam!!”Mariam told her and Sam nodded.
“Thank you. Work on how to win your Tony’s love instead of hurting an innocent person okay?”Sam told her and she scoffed.
“Don’t even advise me,cos I already know what to do”She said and Sam looked at her knowingly.
“Don’t tell me you’re planning to hurt that girl”
“And what if I do huh? I just h@ťě her”she scoffed.
“Mariam, don’t you think you need deliverance? Our priest once said you’re possessed and I thought it to be a joke, but looking at things I think he’s right. Let’s travel back to village tomorrow to get you delivered okay?”Sam said and Mariam glared at him furiously.
“I no blame you na!”She scoffed.

“And that’s all we’ve got for today. See you all in our next class”The lecturer said and the students exhaled.
“Course rep,do well to get me the names of all the students okay?”He asks and Tony nodded.
“Okay sir”he replied.
“Alright then”he said and walked out.
“Tony!!”Mariam called, sitting close to him.
“Sup?”He asks her.
“I’m not fine!!”She pouted and Tony raised a brow before feeling her temperature.
“Gosh! Who told you I’m sick huh?”She yanked off Tony’s hand from her forehead.
“Then what’s wrong with you?”Tony asks and she pouted while looking at him.
“Talk na!”
“It’s you, okay I’m sorry for what I did yesterday huh?”She shaked him and Tony exhaled.
“You owe me no apology okay? Vanessa should be the one you should apologize to and not me”he told her and Mariam nodded lightly.
“You won’t be angry with me again right?”She asks and Tony chuckled.
“I never was okay? And hope the slap from yesterday didn’t hurt that much?”Tony asked .
“I did hurt,you almost disfigured my face huff!!”She hissed with an eye roll and Tony smiled.
“It was just a slap yunno, okay I’m sorry okay!”He winked and Mariam scoffed, folding her hands under her chest.
“Let’s go get ice cream,that way I’ll accept your apology”She said and Tony chuckled.
“Just tell me you want ice cream, that’s understandable gurllll”he laughed and Mariam nodded.
“Fine,you got me. Let’s get going already”Mariam raised her two hands up and Tony chuckled.
Tony stood up and turned to his back,but met Vanessa looking at them but she tore her gaze away immediately.
“Let’s go”Tony said and pulled Mariam with him,their hands interlocked.
“f-__-k!! Where are they going?”Vanessa asked but scoffed afterwards.
“Not like I care”She rolled eye but squeezed her face the moment she felt a sharp pain in her stomach.
“Ahhh!!”She winced lowly,then bent her face on the desk.
“Can you just stop taking pictures huh? Your camera have been clicking since the lecturer left. Haa!!”Amanda scoffed and Tessa rolled eye.
“Abeg leave me na,no be your phone or is it? Can’t I snap all I want?”Tessa said and Amanda scoffed.
“I don’t even have your time sef”she said and stood up.
“Where?”Tessa asks looking at her.
“To victor. Thank you”She rolled eye and walked away.
“Oops”Tessa continued with her snapping but stopped almost immediately.
She turned slowly to see Vanessa’s head on her desk.
“Is she alright?”She thought and stood up,then walked closer to her before sitting on the empty space beside her.
“You okay?”She asks and Vanessa lifted her face,she shook her head and bent her face again.
“What’s wrong?”Tessa asks, feeling her temperature but her body seems cool.
“I..I don’t know,my tommy hurts”She replied and Tessa sighed.
“Are you seeing your period?”She asks and Vanessa shook her head.
“Then what’s wrong?”Tessa asks again but was cut short when tony walked to them.
“What’s wrong?”He asks and Tessa sighed.
“She said her tommy hurts”she replied tony and he heaved.
“Why won’t it hurt huh? When she refused to eat, saying she was late. Can you imagine,she’s the one that woke me up this morning”Tony replied and Tessa eyes widened.
“You..you mean she woke you up?”She asks to be sure and Tony nodded.
“Yes she did, someone that’s not used to starving and she refused to eat!!”Tony released a heavy sigh.
Mariam couldn’t help but roll eyes secretly at them.
“Vanessa!!”Tony tapped her and she lifted her face slowly, immediately she did Mariam faced her with a smile.
“Oh my goodness!! I’m really sorry for what I did yesterday okay? I didn’t mean to say those hurtful words,I mean why would I h@ťě you huh? I’m sorry okay?”She blinked cutely and Vanessa nodded.
“Should I believe that you’re not angry with me huh?”She asks again and Vanessa nodded, before clapping her lips tightly.
The pain she was feeling in her stomach was really unbearable.
Tony sighed while looking at her,he felt like scolding her but He restrained himself from doing that cos she might disgrace him and start crying,she’s a crybaby after all.
“What will you eat? What should I get you?”He asks bending to her level.
“Nothing”Vanessa replied slowly and Tony shook his head.
“Tony,do ask me what you should get for me too okay? My tommy hurts,in fact my intestines is burning”Tessa winked and Tony just shot her a glare.
Mariam couldn’t help but feel Jealous,her fist clenched on its own.
“You can’t tell me nothing,we have classes till 4PM and this is 12 which means we still have more four hours to stay here,so I’m not taking nothing as an answer”Tony said seriously and Vanessa blinked.
“I don’t know”She took her bottom lips in and Tony sighed before pulling her up.
“Where?”She asks slowly.
“There’s an eatery nearby,so let’s go there”he told her and she nodded.
“I’ll be back okay?”Tony told Tessa and Mariam who nodded with a smile.
Mariam’s smile was forced actually and she was boiling in rage deep down.
Taking another look at the duo(Mariam and Tessa) Tony interwined his hand with Vanessa’s and walked out of the classroom.
