The ray of sun on my face made me to stir up from my sleep. I could perceive her sweet scent which still lingered around the room and it made a smile to beamed on my face. She really sleeps overnight.
Wait, I didn’t have that nightmare, this is the first time I didn’t hear that witch’s voice in my dream. Why? Is it because she slept by my side but I had the dream while I was with Nina. Why didn’t I have a dream while with her? I needed to be sure.
“You are awake? ” I heard her tiny sweet voice and I nodded with a smile.
“Yeah, I really sleep well since you cuddle me” I mumbled and she chuckled. I felt a movement and it obvious she sat up.
“Does it still hurt?” She asked worriedly and I faked a groaned,
“It hurt the most because you worried a lot” I mumbled and she chuckled.
“Come on, I should be worried” She mumbled and I smiled while she assisted me to sit up. She cares too much, didn’t ?
“I’m fine really” I replied and she sighed.
“So you gonna take your bath yourself?” He asked and I chuckled.
“Yes or you wanna bath me? ” I said and I heard her gasped.
“No way!” She mumbled and I chuckled.
“I do things myself” I said and I didn’t hear her say anything until she placed her hand on my cheeks.
“It must have been hard, ” she said and I smirked.
“You make it easy since you light my dark world” I said and she chuckled.
“You make everything bright too” She replied, rubbing her hand against my cheek, it is so soothing.
“I will go check on Ma’am Gina, are you sure you can take care of yourself? ” She asked and I nodded.
She surprised me by placing a soft kiss on my cheek which made me smile softly. I heard the shut of the door and I breath out.

A smile spreads through my lips when I perceive the great aroma coming from the kitchen. I knew it’s Ma’am Gina already.
“Wow! It’s gonna be d@mn delicious” I said as I walked into the kitchen and she beamed with a smile as I entered.
“Pretty secretary” She called and I chuckled.

“Vincent? ” She asked and I help her with the Onion she is cutting,
“He is awake,” I told her and she smiled.
“He must really sleep well without that silly nightmare” He said and I stop cutting the onion,
“Nightmare? ” I turned to him and she nodded, she was about when the doorbell rang and she said she would go get it.

I started hearing Amelia’s voice and I smirked.
Such a troublesome kid sister, I missed Annie already, I will definitely go back home after making sure he is better.
“segzy Secretary, Good morning” Amelia dash into the kitchen smiling and I chuckled.
“Amelia, How are you? ” I asked her to flaunt her hair to the back.
“I’m fine, I’m here for my brother, I heard she got shot” She sighed and I chuckled.
“That long face makes you ugly, He is fine now though” I said and she chuckled.
“I like you already, let me check on him” She said and walked out.

I alighted from the cab and Baby Annie rushed out of the house hugging me tightly.
“Sis, I was so worried, Are you okay? I heard you crying over the phone too” She said checking me out and I chuckled.
“Come on, let’s go in first, I’m fine” I gave her assuring smile.
Immediately we walked in, Anita walked out of her room and heaved down.
“Thank goodness, you are back, she couldn’t eat, are you okay?” She asked and I nodded.
“Thank you” I smiled before turning to Annie and I sighed. I h@ťě that I got her worried,
“I’m sorry okay and I’m fine” I said, stroking her hair she nodded.
“Mr Vincent? ” She asked and I smiled.
“He is doing fine” I replied and She smiled.
“That is a relief. ” She replied, Anita walked into the kitchen.
“Skylar, she hasn’t eat” Anita said from the kitchen and I grab her hands
“Come on, you need to eat and we are going out” I told her and her eyes widened.
“Really?” She asked and I smiled with a nod.
DANIEL
“Mom, what happened? You look perturbed” I asked as I walked into her library and I met her clicking her hand on the table staring into space.
She looked so angry too.
“That Ɓîtçh is going to betray us after the money I paid her” She fumed and I raised my brows.who is she talking about?
“Who mom? ” I asked and she slammed her hand on the table.
“That Ɓîtçh you called girlfriend, she has started having a soft spot for Vincent, now all the plans are gonna be ruined” She gasped in anger and I scoffed. Skylar did what?
“No possible way she will do that, She is on her mission and she still belongs to me” I said and she scoffed.
“She said she is going to refund the money to protect Vincent. ” She added and I scoffed unbelievably.
“She said that?? I need to see her, she must be out of her mind” I said and walked out of her library.

And as for that , She has no choice but to work for me. Now that Vincent loves her, She is the only weapon I can use against him.
