I stretched my body feeling so much better, how come this bed is d@mn better than my normal bed.
I opened my eyes and it met with this blue Aesthetics then I smiled to myself.
“Wow, so beautiful” I mumbled to myself,
“Is this a paradise or what? ”
But when I was reminded this wasn’t right. I lurched up immediately.
I looked around the beautiful room and I gasped. My eyes ran to the wall clock, 9pm??
“Why….why am I here? ” I asked myself while looking around. My head snapped at me being in Mr Vincent’s car after the Massage at the Spa.
“Holy f-__-k! I slept off” I knocked my head, so he probably brought me to his house.
I’m so dumb! I walked out of the room looking like a lost dog.
I started hearing some chatters as I walked down the staircase. I saw a woman laughing together with Mr Ben and also Mr Vincent.
God! This is so awkward!
The woman’s eyes met mine and she smiled.
“Your pretty secretary is awake” She mumbled, Mr Ben turned to my direction while I only gulped with a slight bow.
I smile nervously walking up to them.
“Come on, Come closer” Mr Ben said and I moved closer to them, taking a seat opposite to Mr Vincent.
“Miss Skylar, You okay? ” He asked and I cleared my throat.
“I’m sorry for stressing you sir, I don’t know when I fell asleep, so dumb of me” I scolded myself and he chuckled.
“You don’t have to scold yourself” He said and the woman smiled at me.
“Let me get your food served” She stood up, walked to the kitchen I guessed.
” Here your phone” Mr Ben placed my phone on the table and I picked it up immediately.
I switch it on and d@mn! 15 missed calls from Anita.
“f-__-k! ” I cussed and Mr Vincent turned to me.
“Any problem? ” He asked and I shook my head.
“Nothing sir” I replied and just then, the woman came back and served my food while I smiled.
“Thank you ma’am” I politely said and she returned a smile.
My phone suddenly rang and as expected it’s Anita.
“Hey, Skylar, Where the f-__-k are you?!” She yelled on the phone that I have to remove the phone from my ear.

” I’m still alive, calm down” I chuckled and she hissed.
“You could at least inform us that you are not coming home today, Baby Annie is worried” She scolded and I sighed.
“I’m sorry, How is she? Is she still awake? ” I asked and she sighed.
“Nope, she slept off earlier” She replied and I sighed.
“Thank you and I love you” I smiled and she chuckled.
“Okay take care of yourself” She said and hung up.
“Your parents are mad at you?” Mr Vincent asked and I scoffed.
“Nope, They are no more sir” I replied and The woman gasped.
“So sorry about that dear, poor girl” She mumbled and I chuckled.
“It’s nothing,” I muttered.
After some minutes, we were done eating So I assisted Ma’am Gina with the dishes.
“So, You both are on good terms I guessed, You got him smiling lately” She said as we both washed the dishes.
” Really? ” I chuckled and she smiled.
“Yeah, I haven’t seen him get on good terms after what that Ɓîtçh did to him” She shrugged and I looked at her for a while.
Ɓîtçh? Who is she talking about?
“Which Ɓîtçh?” I asked and she chuckled.
“Don’t worry, I just want you to continue to make him happy” She said before walking out.
I shrugged and walked out also.
I met them seated at the sitting so I rubbed my nape and walked closer to them.
Aren’t they supposed to go to bed by now? I looked at the clock and it’s already 11pm.
“I’m going to bed, Vincent” Ma’am Gina stood up first and Vincent nodded.
So also Mr Ben stood up and they both walked away leaving me with Mr Vincent.
Goodness! I probably can’t stand up too. What should I do? Isn’t he going to sleep too?
I rubbed my nape then breathed out.
“Mrs Skylar, You can go to the room if you are ready to sleep” He said and I blinked.
“The room? I will prefer it here sir, The couch is preferable” I mumbled and he chuckled.
“Are you scared I might hurt you?I can’t even see” He chuckled and I was surprised
“No…no..no, that is not what I mean sir, I mean… I can’t sleep in your room, where will you sleep if I sleep in your room? ” I shuttered and he chuckled again.
“I’m the owner of the house, I sleep whenever I want” He replied and I chuckle
So much boasting,
“Okay then, Goodnight sir” I stood up taking the staircase but not with me staring at him, So what is he going to do? I don’t know but I felt sorry for him, he looked like a lonely prince in that dark world.
I made up my mind, I walked back to where he is and he swiveled his head to my direction.
“Miss Skylar, any problem? ” He asked and I took my seat beside him.
“Let’s play a game sir” I grabbed his arm and he looked somehow surprised.
“A game? ” He asked and I chuckled.
“Yeah trust me, gonna be fun” I said and he chuckled.
“Okay then, I’m in” He agreed and I
“The game is Would you rather?” I explained the rules of the game.
“Okay, I’m going to go first,” I told him and he nodded.
“Would you rather be at the office or stay at home? ” I asked even though I knew his answer already, he chuckled and smiled.
“Of course, the office,” He replied and I smiled.
“Okay Sir, your turn” I told him and he nodded.
“Would you rather break up with your boyfriend than work in my office?” He asked and I scoffed. I don’t even have a boyfriend.
“Sir, you’ve forgotten, I don’t have any boyfriend” I chuckled and he smiled.
“Assume you have” He said and I scoffed.
“Okay Assuming I have, then I will prefer working in your office” I said and that got him smiling.
“My turn, I speak up” I moisten my lips in thinking of hard questions to ask him, then it popped in my mind.
“Okay Would you rather regain your sight than be with the one who loves you like you love her” I asked and his expression,
Oh oh! It seems he is annoyed with my question.
“Okay not that, I’m sorry… . ” He cut me off then smile,

” I will answer it” He said and I smiled.
” I will stay with the one who loves me than regain my sight” He replied and that amazed me.
” I never knew you would go for that.” I chuckled softly and she smiled.
” I never thought you would ask that.” He mimicked me and we both burst into laughter.

And a smile creak on my lips seeing him smile, it’s been a long time since I saw him free with the opposite segz like this.
