“I didn’t start the fight sir. If she had let go of the basket, we won’t have argued” Xavier said.
“Really? You’re a guy right? Must you argue with me anytime I throw fights at you. You should have been a gentleman and let me have the basket, then we won’t have been in this mess”
“Gentleman? I rather serve the devil than be a gentleman to an envelope of ugliness like you” Xavier said.
“Take back what you just said!”
“What will you do if I don’t?” Xavier asked.
“You’re so annoying!” Kayla said, hitting his head.
“I never said I was funny” Xavier said, hitting her back.
“How dare you hit a lady!”
“You’re not a lady” Xavier said and Kayla scoffed.
“What am I then? A man”
“You don’t belong to any of the genders, because you’d be ugly in two genders”
“And you’re not nothing but a wasted products. You’re the best description of scleroderma!”
“Scleroderma? Take that back!”
“I won’t because you look like a scleroderma patient!”
“How dare you call me names” Xavier said getting angry.
“Why? Does it hurts? You’d have think better before insulting me. Coward”
“You’re a goat” He said and Kayla smile
“Thanks Xavier, at least you know I’m the greatest of all time” She said sticking out her tongue for him.
Xavier was about abusing her, but he was cut short when the owner of the convenience store banged his hand on the table, and they look at him.
“Both of you should stop your argument and call your parents. You both are lucky that you are underages, I’d have called the cops on you”
“I am sure you know me, right?” Kayla asked, smiling.
“Of course I do. You’re Kayla Meyers, daughter of Jane Meyers, one of the popular fashion designers in LA” The man answered.
“Thank God you know my mom is indeed popular, which means she’s a busy person. I can pay for the crates of eggs I broke. My mom gave me one of her credit cards, so tell me how much the entire crates of eggs cost so that I can pay you. As for him, he should be the one to call his mom because he has no money” Kayla said. Xavier gulps, and Kayla smirked.
“It’s not about you being able to pay for the damage you cost. You moms should know the behavior you portray outside”
“Sir, my mom is a busy person and she can’t…. ”
“Call your moms right now!!!” He yelled at them, cutting Xavier short who was trying to explain to him that his mom was a cleaner who can’t go in and out of work like she pleases.
Before Beatrice left the house earlier today, she gave Xavier money to buy some groceries, and he came to the convenience store, but only for him to meet Kayla there.
“You know what? This is all your fault. You should have let go of the basket, when I asked you to” Kayla said, some minutes later. They had called their moms and were waiting for them.
Xavier didn’t say anything to her, he just stood by the door, checking if his mom was coming. He was already feeling bad, because his mom will have to cover up for an unwanted expenses she didn’t budget for.
“Why are you suddenly speechless. Cat got your tongue, huh? I thought you were good at talking back, so why are you not talking back? I’m talking to you, Xavier”
“Can you leave me alone Kayla? You have all the money in the world and you’re not bother by anything, so let me be” Xavier said and looked back at the glass door, while Kayla knitted her eyebrows.
Xavier’s heart raised when he saw his mom coming, but despite that he open the door for her.
“What happened Xavier? You’re not the kind of person to get into trouble so why now?” Beatrice asked.
“Well… ”
Xavier was cut short because Jane entered the convenience store when he was about to speak. “Mom” Kayla said, hugging her.

“Five hundred dollars for the damage of the drink?” Beatrice asked, and Xavier felt really bad.
“Yes, because the drinks your son broke are expensive” The owner of the convenience store answered.
“Can I pay in installment?” Beatrice asked.
“No you can’t ma’am. You’d have train your son better”
“Hey, don’t think about throwing harsh words to my mom, understand” Xavier said
“Shut up Xavier. Please sir, just consider me, I will pay you, but I can’t pay you at once” Beatrice said.
“I will take care of it” Jane said and both Xavier and Beatrice looked at her.
“It’s Five hundred dollars, right, and my daughter damage crates of eggs worth two hundred dollars?”
“Yes”
“Sum it up and deduct it from my account” Jane said giving him her credit card, and Xavier looked at Jane and back to Kayla who smirked at him.

Xavier quickly rushed to meet Jane when he saw her walking towards her car, alongside with Kayla.
“Ma’am” He said, and Jane stopped and looked at him.
“I want to thank you for bailing me out. It really meant a lot to me” He said, and Jane smiled.
“It’s fine. Damages happens among kids who are friends” Jane said.
“He is not my friend mom, and will never be my friend. You shouldn’t have bail him out, you should have let him suffer the consequences of his actions”
“Shut up Kayla. Don’t think I will let what you did today slide”
“Thank you so much ma’am. Kayla is a big time trouble marker”
“Wh@ťěver Xavier” Kayla said, rolling her eyes. Beatrice approach them and smiled at Jane.
“Thank you so much ma’am”
“You don’t have to, and you can just call me Jane. I’m sure we’re of the same age” Jane said.
“Thanks so much… Jane” Beatrice said and Jane smiled at her.
“I will be going now” Jane said and leaves with Kayla in her car, and after they left, Xavier quickly went on his knees.
“Please don’t ki|| me, it’s never going to happen again. Please don’t smack me today, I will wash the entire dirty dishes, clothes and keep the entire house spanking clean. Don’t just touch me, please” Xavier said, jambing his hands together, and rubbing it as well.
“And who told you I was going to touch you? Let’s just go home” Beatrice said, walking away.
“My mom of all people didn’t smack me? Is she having a high temperature? Mom, wait for me!” He said, going after her.

Lucas came down from his white Chevrolet Silverado car, holding a bouquet of beautiful flowers. He has been trying to call Julianna since last night after he ditch her for Jane, but she wasn’t picking. He sent lots of messages to her, she viewed it, and didn’t reply to any of it.
He’d have gone to her house, but she was on working days in the news house. Julianna is best known as an anchor-woman who delivers news accurately, and broadcast live.
“Oh Lucas! Are you here to see Julianna” One of her co-workers asked. Almost everyone in LA news company knows Lucas, because Julianna talks about him a lot, and since Lucas is a popular surgeon in LA, it wasn’t hard to know him.
“Yes. Is she busy?” Lucas asked.
“No she isn’t. She just finished her live broadcast. She’d be in her office” She said.
“Thanks” Lucas said. He knows Julianna’s office, so he took an elevator that lead him to her office. He entered her office and sees her tying her head in a ponytail.
“Julie” He called her name, and Julianna quickly pretended she was making a phonecall.
“You want me to do a live broadcast, I be there soon” She said and tried to leave, but Lucas held her hand.
“Julie”
“I’m busy Lucas, let’s talk later” She took her hand from him and tried to leave, but Lucas hugged her.
“I’m sorry Julie. Please don’t being mad. I’m so sorry”
“Give me one reason why I shouldn’t be mad at you, Lucas. You ditch me off like I wasn’t important” She said trying to break the hug, but Lucas hugged her tightly.
“I didn’t mean to do it Julie. Jane needed me, and I had to go to her. I’m sorry”
Julianna sighed and said. “How is she doing? I saw your texts saying Adrian is back”
“Why didn’t you reply to anyone of my texts?”
“Because I was angry”
“I’m sorry” He said giving her the bouquet of flowers, and Julianna accepted it smiling.
“I am going to make it up to you, Julianna. I promise” He said.
“You being here is enough for me”
“You have forgiven me, right?” Lucas asked.
“I love you so much Lucas, so much that I can’t stay mad at you for even a day. I was literally crying when I ignored your calls and texts”
“Sorry I made you cry” Lucas apologize and Julianna kissed him.
“It’s fine Lucas, I forgive you. How’s Jane?”
“She’s fine. You’d be okay with it, if I check up on her later tonight, right?”
“I have no problem with that Lucas”
Lucas smiled and held her head. “Come with me, I have something to show you” He said and leaves the office with her.

“Don’t tell me this nice looking car is mine?” Julianna asked, looking at the white Chevrolet Silverado car, shinning brightly at her.
“Yes it’s yours Julie” Lucas answered. Julianna was about screaming, but Lucas covered her mouth.
“I know you are excited, but don’t scream, I don’t want your co-workers to gather” Lucas said and Julianna smiled.
“I think you’re spoiling me too much Lucas. You got me an expensive condo, it wasn’t too long when you bought me a car, and you got me another car” Julianna said, and Lucas wrapped his hands around her waist.
“You deserve it Julianna. Thanks for loving me even I fail to be a perfect boyfriend to you. I will drop the car in your house, then we go on a date later tonight. It’s a promise, Julie” Lucas said, and Julianna hugged him.
“I love you so much, Lucas” She said kissing his cheeks and Lucas smiled.

≤ BEATRICE’S HOUSE ≥
“Here you mom, and you Xiaomi” Xavier said with a bright smile, as he served them plates of chicken rice.
“Did you see Jesus Christ earlier today?” Xiaomi asked.
“No I didn’t, why did you asked?” He said sitting with them.
“Because my twin brother who I know so well, won’t clean the entire house and cook for the family, except he’s being smacked to do it” Xiaomi said.
“Don’t mind him Xiaomi. He’s just trying not to get on my bad side” Beatrice said.
“Bad side? What did he do?”
“I don’t know how he got to know Kayla, but he fought with her and end up breaking drinks worth five hundred dollars” Beatrice said.
“You broke drinks worth five hundred dollars?” Xiaomi asked, hitting his head.
“Ouch! Must you hit my head? Kayla’s mom paid for it”
“Even so, you shouldn’t have stress mom, you jerk” Xiaomi said, and hits his head again.
“Stop hitting me like you’re my elder sister, you’re just five minutes older!” Xavier said.
“Should I use a pestle on you, so you’d know being five minutes older than you isn’t easy? I was the first to see the world before you, so you should respect that” Xiaomi said.
“Really? Have you forgotten we were born premature, and mom was in coma, because she had an accident when we were just seven months old in her womb. Grandma just made the assumption that you are… ”
“Shut up Xavier” Beatrice said.
“Sorry mom. It won’t happen again” Xavier said and Xiaomi smirked at him.
“Schools are resuming get ready to be in school. The both of you will be going to The stars Academy, I have saved enough money for your tuitions”
“The stars academy? That’s Kayla’s school, right?” Xiaomi asked smiling.
“Mom, do you want to ki|| me? Seeing her occasionally is draining life out of me, and you want me to attend the same school with that dark witch?” Xavier asked.
“Stop calling her a witch” Xiaomi said, hitting his head with a spoon.
“Ouch!! Are you and Kayla advocate of the devil!!!”

Debra walked around her fashion industry as one of the staffs shows her around. Since she hasn’t been in LA for such a long time, she wasn’t familiar with her other branch here in Los Angeles.
“Why are we the fifth popular fashion industry in LA” She asked, looking at the chart.
“Because other fashion industry did better than us” Her new assigned PA said.
“Other fashion industries like?”
“Starlight fashion industry. It belongs to the popular Jane Meyers. She’s like a celebrity, even if she’s not”
“Do you love your job?” Debra asked.
“Yes I do”
“So don’t ever in your stupid life talk about how good Jane Meyers is in front of me, understood?” She said and her P. A nod.
“Get out of my sight!” Debra said and her P. A left. Her phone rang and she answered it immediately.
“Yes. Any news about the client that Jane will be meeting tomorrow?” Debra asked.
“Yeah I do” The person from the other end said.
“Who?”
“Sophia Ramos. She’s a popular model. She likes the wedding gown Jane design for her friend, and wants Jane to design her wedding gown too”
“Time and place they’d be meeting?” Debra asked.
“They will be meeting at Brownie restaurant at 2: pm”
“Thanks for the info” Debra said, she end the call and smirked afterwards.

≤ NEXT DAY ≥
Adrian came out from the O.R after a successful surgery.
“There’s someone waiting for you in your office” One of the nurse said to him.
“Who?” He asked.
“He said his name is Lucas Tilley” The nurse answered, and Adrian halted his feet after hearing Lucas’s name .
“What an unexpected surprise. I didn’t know you reside in LA too” Adrian said when he entered his office and sees Lucas waiting for him. He has earlier inquire about Adrian’s hospital.
“Don’t act like we’re friends Adrian, because we’re not friends” Lucas said, and Adrian snickers.
“So why are you here then?”
“I came to give a warning Adrian, don’t ever approach Jane again or even make her cry. She has had enough from you” Lucas said.
“What if I don’t, and keep reminding her what kind of woman she is, what will you do?” Adrian asked and Lucas held his collar and pinned him to the wall.
“I am warning you before I take actions Adrian. You should know already that I don’t joke with Jane, and I wasn’t just blabbing when I told you I won’t allow you go close to Jane again, so if you don’t want any part of your body paralyzed, stay away from Jane and focus on Debra who you’re married to, understand” Lucas said with rage and Adrian glared at him.

≤ BROWNIES RESTAURANT ≥
Jane had a smile on her face as she talked to Sophia Ramson. She was dressed elegantly, such that her money could be perceived from how she looked.
“Don’t worry Sophia Ransom, I will make sure to get the best designs for your wedding dress” Jane said.
“I love the sound of that. Lots of people are talking about Phoebe’s wedding gown, and I’d love my wedding dress to be the talk of the town”
“I will do my very best to please you, Sophia”
“So how much are we talking about here”
“Well… ”
“Sophia Ramson!” Debra shrieks, as she approach them. Jane wasn’t that surprise to see Debra. She already knows Adrian was married to Debra and they have a daughter, and she has no plans on telling Adrian about Kayla.
“Sorry do I know you?” Sophia asked.
“Not really, but I am a fashion designer. You’re a model, so it will be embracing for me not to know who you are” Debra said, smiling.
“Okay. Jane how much are we bargaining for the wedding gown” Sophia said ignoring Debra.
“Long time no see Jane. You have really changed” Debra said, and Jane smiled and stood to her feet.
“You and your husband Adrian, must think you both are the only ones allowed to get rich, sorry Debra, but I am no longer a pauper” Jane said.
“You… You already met Adrian?” Debra asked, feeling jealous.
“Yes I did, and I never expected him to still be a coward like he was years ago” Jane said, and Debra slapped her.
“My husband isn’t a coward, stay away from my husband you homeless girl. You can’t be able to do anything to me just like you couldn’t years ago!!”
Jane arrange her scattered hair and before Debra could blink an eye, Jane slapped her so hard on the face and she gasped.
“That was for what you did to me years ago” She said and slapped Debra so hard again. “And this is for raising your filthy hand on me today!”
Jane grabbed Debra’s hair and use her side face to hit the table forcefully. “I’m no longer the weak Jane you once knew Debra, and as for the idiot you called a husband, I don’t have anything to do with him anymore. I rather die than see his ugly face, understand!!!” Jane shouted at Debra before pushing her away, and she hits a waitress who was carrying different glasses of juice on a tray, and the whole content poured on her white gown.
“f-__-k, I just bought this gown!” Debra cries.
