^^ Hanks Family Home ^^
“What happened last night?” Granny Susie asked as soon as Connor came to join her in the garden for his breakfast.
“Do you mean Tessa?” He asked which got her nodding in return.
“If am Tessa, I also will be angry. No matter what you shouldn’t have said those things about your wife” Granny Susie said some time later after Connor’s explanation.
“I only made that up as an excuse. I have never thought of Tessa in that way, she means the whole world to me” Connor said with feeling.
“Don’t say that to me, you should say that to her” Granny Susie let out slowly which cast a sad expression on his face.
“She’s ignoring me. I wanted to offer her a lift to the hospital but she refused”
“She’s furious and needs to be pacified which you should be doing” Granny Susie told him.
“But she’s furious” Connor said remembering the angry way she left their room last night.
“And that’s why you need to earn her forgiveness. Make her feel how much you love her and am sure, she’s going to forgive you”
“You can begin now by going to the hospital ” Granny Susie suggested mildly.
“You are right. A surprise visit will certainly earn me a point, thanks Granny” he said as he stood up to give her a kiss on the forehead before going back into the mansion to get ready for his outing.

^^ Camp Ground ^^
“Good morning ” Fiona said as soon as she joined Frederick in the field.
“You look lovely in your pyjamas” Frederick compliment, his arms snaking around her slim waist.
“Quit it with your being sweet and tell me why you called me out this early ” Fiona requested.
“Since we will be returning today and it will take a while before we get to be alone again, I want to give you this” he said bringing out a pendant which had the initial of her name on it ”
“Wow… It’s so beautiful” she said and pulled her hair up so he can put it on for her.
“Thanks Freddy, I love it” Fiona cooed out in excitement.
“Have had it done for a long time but I was afraid of giving it to you since I hadn’t confess my feelings but now I…” He stopped when she gave him a kiss.
“I plan to hold back but then you’ve brought out my appetite” he let out huskily even as he pulled her into his arms but she shrank from his hold.
“What’s wrong?” He asked.
“Nothing ” Fiona denied but then he pulled up the sleeve of her pyjamas and saw a bruise on her arm.
“Who did this to you?” Frederick bellowed.
“What makes you think someone did that to me? We need to head back to our tent. See you later” she said quickly changing the subject.
She got back to her tent only to see Ken waiting there with a rose in his hand.
“I went for an early morning walk and saw this” he said, stretching the rose to her and her reply was to walk past him.
But he took hold of her arm, the exact spot the bruise was and that made her yelp out in pain.
“What is it? ” Ken asked worriedly as he pulled up her sleeve to see the bruise.
“Did I do that to you yesterday?” Ken asked but Fiona didn’t get to give him a reply because of Frederick who showed up.
“You bastard!” Frederick called out in anger before punching him on the face.
“How dare you lay your hands on her?” Frederick asked and gave him another punch which got Ken falling on the floor.
“Frederick Don’t!” Fiona screamed as she stood in his path.
“Am gonna ki|| that son of a gun!” Frederick said, looking very angry.
“I don’t get it? Why do you act this way when it comes to Fiona. It’s not like she’s your girlfriend or anything!” Ken said as he wipe off the blood on his lips.
“Shut up, Ken” Fiona yelled at Ken.
“Why should I? He keeps interfering when it comes to you. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s into you” Ken said and he didn’t miss the look that cross Fiona’s face.
“It’s none of your business and have told you to stay away from me!” She yelled at him while holding onto Frederick.
“I can’t do that. I already told you so”
“Am really going to ki|| him” Frederick let out menacingly but Fiona held onto him.
“Let’s just leave here, please” her soft plea got him listening and together they both walk off.
“It can’t possibly be right?” Ken muttered, his gaze on the two siblings who were walking off.
“Why did you lie to me?” Frederick yelled at her as soon as they were In a safe place to talk.
“Cause I knew you were going to act like this! Don’t you know that your anger will sell us off?” Fiona yelled in return.
“It’s already hard for me trying to keep our relationship a secret and if someone finds out, it’s bound to end between us” she added.
“So what? Should I just stay still while some guy harasses you?” Frederick asked.
“That’s not what am saying, I just…”
“The truth is that you like the attention being given to you by Ken. You want him right? You f^ cking want him since it will be hard for us being…” He didn’t get to complete his words because she slap him on the face.
“How can you say that to me? How dare you say that to me!” She yelled and not waiting for his reply, she ran back to her tent leaving Frederick regretting his words.

^^ Hospital ^^
Deep in thought, Tessa made way to the cafeteria only to run into Edward.
“I couldn’t help but to come see you” Edward began some time later when they were both seated at a table in the cafeteria.
“Did Connor get angry about your presence at the party last night ?” Edward asked.
“Let’s just say that am the one who got angry” she replied.
“Why? Did he say something harsh to you?” Edward asked.
“Not at all. I just don’t understand why he finds it hard to trust me” she said this while letting out a sigh.
Taking her sandwich, she bit into it leaving a cream stain on her lips.
“He’s a fool for not trusting you. If I were him, I certainly wouldn’t keep a thing from you” Edward said starring at her stained lips.
“I doubt that cause all guys are the same” She replied and slowly he got out of his seat and came to stand by her chair.
Leaning towards her, he slowly wipe off the stain on her lips.
“Why don’t you give me a try, I will show you that am different” Edward said.
Tessa at first thought of it as a joke but on seeing the serious look on his face, she knew he meant what he said.
” What is going on here?” Connor sudden question got her moving away Edward.
He was standing a few distance away, glaring at the both of them while holding onto a bouquet of flower.
“I just asked a question!” Connor voice out again sounding more angry.
“Relax! I was just wiping off the cream on her lips and by the way…it tastes yummy” Edward said licking his fingers and immediately, Connor move towards him, giving him a punch on the face.
“You low life! I knew you were up to no good when you appeared” Connor bit out moving towards him but Tessa pulled him back.
“Don’t! Please ”
“Why? You told me to trust you but with what I just witness, that will be hard for me to do” Connor yelled at her.
“This isn’t the place to talk, Connor. Let’s leave” Tessa suggested as the other people in the cafeteria were starring at them.
“We most definitely are going to leave” He said as he pulled Tessa off leaving Edward starring after them.

Just like they did the other night, both couple walk into the mansion looking furious.
” Edward came to see me today because he was worried about last night. I didn’t know I had a stain on my lips and he was only trying to….”
“Oh save the excuse! Am not that stupid” he yelled cutting her off.
“So what? You think Edward and I have something going on?”
“You might since you’ve been going around with….”
“Connor!” Tessa scream out in disbelief.
“I told you to stay away from him! Since you insist on not listening to me, then it’s only right that I believe what my mind told me from the scene earlier” he replied.
“I won’t bother asking you what your mind told you but let me ask you this…why do you insist on me staying away from Edward. What don’t I know?” Tessa asked.
“It’s none of your business and don’t try to change the….”
“Am not changing the subject, I only want to know what went wrong between you two. Is it too hard for you to trust me?” Tessa interrupted.
“You want me to trust you? After what I saw, I doubt that” he replied.
“Since it’s hard for you to trust me, then let’s end this marriage”
“What did you just say?”
“You heard me!”
“Is that a thr_@t? ” Connor asked.
“Think of it which ever way you want. I don’t care” She replied and walk out of the room leaving a fuming Connor on his own.
The couple failed to notice Granny Susie who had heard everything.

Chris walked into his room starring at the message he sent to Cynthia some time ago.
“Why isn’t she replying? Is she angry?” He said aloud to himself.
“She definitely is” Frederick sudden reply startled him.
“What are you doing in my room?” Chris asked as he went to seat on the bed.
“Thinking about a fight I had with someone?” Frederick said as he sat up on the bed. ” I thought I could ask for advice from you but it seems like you are also being ignored” He added slowly.
“And is this someone a girl?” Chris asked which got Frederick nodding.
“I was just angry and said a few stupid things and since then she’s been ignoring me. She wouldn’t let me see her and neither will she pick my call” Frederick said referring to Fiona.
“Same goes here. I didn’t mean any of the things I said and even when she told me that she believes me, she’s been ignoring my messages and Calls” Chris let out, thinking about Cynthia.
“It’s gonna be hard earning their forgiveness right?” Frederick asked doubtfully.
“It won’t if you played your cards right” Granny Susie who had been listening in on their conversation said as she walk into the room.
“Have you been eavesdropping?” Chris asked.
“Sorry kids! I was meaning to ask you a question but then I heard your Convo since you didn’t bother closing the door properly” Granny Susie replied as she sat on the bed too.
“The Hanks men are known for their anger which tends to ruin a lot of things. I once vowed to ends things with your grandfather when he a dispute occured between us but then your grandfather apologise and won my heart all over again”
“Which is what you boys need to do too. From what have heard, you both got your girlfriend angry and currently Connor is also doing the same thing” She added letting out a sigh.
“Which is why I propose we all go on a trip. You bring along your girlfriend and try to win their hearts. It’s gonna be once in a life time trip, so are you in for it?” Granny Susie asked.
