Andrew looked at Rose.
Rose was bleeding profusely. Blood tripped beneath down her knee to her feet.
She groaned in pain.
Andrew was surprised a common hit in the stomach would caused this.

Mr mark’s men lower their guns from his head
“Rose?
Are you okay?
Andrew said worriedly seeing the blood on her both legs. Rose hummed a “No”
“I need to take her to the hospital… ”
Andrew said facing Mr mark.

“She is going to bleed here till she die unless I have my SRS9
Mr mark replied.
Andrew realize he won’t give up unless he gets it and rose could die any minute if she didn’t get any medical attention.

He stare at Mr mark and walk closer to him.
“What are you going to do?
Beat me up?”
Mr mark said also getting closer to him.His men pointed guns at Andrew’s head.
Andrew wasted no time, he headbutt Mr mark in the forehead, turn and grab one of his men and also his gun.
It happened so fast. He began to $h00t at the other men as he hold the man by the neck and use him to hold bullets shot from other Mr mark’s men.

Mr mark was still on the ground trying to recover from the headbutt.
They all shot at Andrew as Andrew $h00t back. He walk with his behind to Rose and Jean.

They all stop $h00ting as there was no more bullet.
He quickly untie Jean as Mr mark’s men are trying to reload their weapons.

“Untie rose and you two should get the hell out of here…
John will be waiting downstairs, I will be with you two soon, I need to finish this once and for all”
He said.
Jean nodded and quickly untie rose…
She stood her up and managed to walk her out of the room.

Mr mark stood up after some minutes of his headbutt recovery. He shake his head and groaned.
Andrew draw his gun to Mr mark.
“Drop all your guns or I shot your boss”
Andrew thr_@tened.

They all looked at Mr mark and back at Andrew. Andrew began to walk closer to Mr mark.
“You all heard me well…
Drop your guns”
He warned again.

“$h00t him…
Mr mark shouted, confusing his men.

Andrew keep Mr mark in sight.
“Any funny move, and I blow his brains out.
He said again.

His men saw our serious he is. They all put down their guns immediately.
“Good, kids”
Andrew chuckles and release the first man he first grab who is now dead.
He quickly grab Mr mark engulfing his neck with his left arm.

“If I get out of here without a scratch, he will be safe”
He said and walk to the door slowly with his behind.

“Just know, Andrew Williams..
Am coming back for you”
Mr mark managed to say from Andrew’s grip.

“You might not be alive to do that…
He said and shot him in the leg as soon as he reached the door.
Mr mark screamed. His men all took back their guns from the ground but they couldn’t fire…
They can’t fire at their boss.

“That’s for going on a date with my woman”
Andrew said and shove him to the ground.. he quickly rushed out before his men opened back their fire.
As soon as he dropped Mr mark to the ground, they began to $h00t at him till he was out of sight.
But he was unlucky, a bullet hit his arm.

“Go after him…
Mr mark shouted at his men. They quickly rushed out.
Andrew was already on the long staircase… They chase after him on the staircase releasing fire when they see the chances

Andrew ran down the staircase like his life depends on it. Gathered all the strength left in him. He covered his left arm where he was shot. His arm was already bleeding.

~Ten minutes later, after the hot chase on the staircase ~
Andrew finally reached the last staircase and ran out of the building.
John and two of Andrew’s men rushed to him and grab him helping him into the vehicle.

They all got in the same time mr mark’s men also got outside the building. They began go $h00t at their vehicle.
“Drive now”
Andrew shouted at the driver.

Andrew’s driver quickly drove off away from the building.

Andrew heave a sigh of relief. Rose hugged and cried on his chest.
“Am sorry for putting you through all this”
Rose apologized.

“What were you guys thinking?”
He face her and look at Jean.

“We are sorry.. we just decide to have some fun while you are away”
Jean replied sadly.

“There is no time for this right now…
Drive us to the hospital, we need to check on rose and myself…
I think I was hit”
Andrew said to the driver.

“Boss, you were actually hit”
John said looking at his finger and arm filled with his dripping blood
Andrew sighs.

🔶 Maryland’s city hospital 🔶
Andrew wound was covered with a bandage. The nurse who fixed his bullet wound packed her medical kits and left the ward.
“Thanks”
Andrew said to the nurse. The nurse smile on her way out.
He rest his back on the hospital bed as he stare at the ceiling.
“I hope Rose is okay”
He muttered.

Doctor naresh walked into his ward.
“Andrew?
How are you feeling?”

“Am fine, doctor…
But am not concerned with that… How is rose doing? Can I see her?”

Doctor naresh smile.
“She isn’t supposed to be in danger when she is that condition”

“What condition?”
Andrew asked.

Doctor naresh seems confused.
“Didn’t you know your woman was pregnant?”

Andrew’s eyeballs enlarged in surprise when he heard that.
“You mean Rose is pregnant?”
He asked again to be sure.

“Yeah, she was…
Don’t you know about this?”
Doctor naresh asked.

A sharp happy smile curved out of Andrew’s face.
“Can I see her?

“Not so fast…
She is asleep right now,
And am sorry to tell you this,but she almost lost the baby,
You were lucky she was brought in sooner”

“Omg…
Andrew muttered. He thought of Mr mark hitting Rose’s stomach.
“That bastard caused this”

“She is going to be okay, Andrew… She and the baby are safe”
Doctor naresh assured him.

“Thanks doctor…
Am going to be around till she is awake”

“You also should take a rest…
That arm needs to heal fast”
Doctor naresh replied and smile,before walking out.

Doctor naresh walked to the reception. He smile as he walks. A black nurse joined him.
“How is Rose Walter now?”

“She is fine, doctor…
I feel so honored giving medical attention to Andrew’s wife, the wealthiest man in California.
The nurse replied.

“Well, enjoy the moment cos it your first time…
Am their family doctor, so am used it”

“I have a question, doctor…
Are they actually married? Cos everyone knows Andrew Williams is still single”

Doctor naresh asked in his Indian accent.

The word “Baby mama” is used for mothers who are still unmarried to the father of their children.

I would love to visit Nigeria during my vacations”

He asked but was interrupted by some nurses call.

A nurse rushed to him.
You are needed in Ward 7″
A patient is finally awake”

Doctor naresh thought and quickly rushed with the nurse. The black nurse sighs and walk away in a different direction.

Doctor naresh and a nurse walked into the ward, and there Robert was, seating on the hospital bed holding his head with his both hands.
Doctor naresh walked slowly to him.
“Robert, are you okay?”
He asked.

Robert looked up to his face.
“Doctor naresh?”
He said in a weak voice.
“My head is banging hard right now” I have a strong headache.

Doctor naresh heave a sigh of relief.
“It’s okay…
Lay back on the bed and let me check you out”

Robert breathe out and lay back on the bed.
“Is everyone okay?”
He asked..

“Yeah, everyone is fine…
Just take some rest”

“I need to reach Kate and Ben, get me a normal clothes and pull this hospital filthy clothes from me”
We need to catch that assassin and take what belongs to me”

“Don’t rush things…
Everyone is fine and right now, you need some rest”
Doctor naresh said.

~The next morning ~
“Hurry up, am waiting in the living room”
John shouted for jean to hear from the kitchen.

“Give me some minutes…
I need to pack their breakfast”
Jean replied.

“Your brother will be expecting me already and they must be very farmished…
Remember they took the night at the hospital’

The kitchen door creaked a sound.
Jean came out with two packaged food basket.
“Am done… ”

“Alright…
John said and signal two of Andrew’s men to come over.
“We will be out and might take us long before we get back.. make sure the whole house is safe as usual.
They both nodded.
“The Boss’s wife is in hospital, so we are going to check up on her”

“Alright, John…
You can trust us”
One of them said.

“Good…
John said and face jean who has been watching him.
“Let’s go, jean”

Jean smile.
“You seem good at your job”

John chuckles as they walk out of the house.

“Do you think rose is pregnant?”
Jean asked as John drove the road towards the hospital.

“Pregnant?
Maybe? Who knows, but I won’t be surprised”
John replied.

“Well, I actually confirmed it.
The blood I saw beneath her knee shows she is carrying a baby”

“What’s your major?”
John suddenly asked.

“And why do you ask?

“Cos am surprised how you immediately find out rose is pregnant just because you saw blood on her knee
Even doctors have to run a test before they can confirm she is actually pregnant”

“I didn’t affirm she is pregnant, I was only looking at the fact that she might be”

“Okay, doctor jean…
Can we drop the topic and talk about something else?”

Jean just frowned.

~At the hospital~
Doctor naresh and Andrew walked into Rose’s ward. There was a joyful smile on Andrew’s face when he saw rose already awake.
A nurse was with her, telling her her condition. She winced happily covering her mouth with the tip of her fingers.

Doctor naresh and Andrew just watched her from steps away.
Andrew folded his arms staring at happy rose.
“So now is the time for you to tell her how you really feel?”
Doctor naresh whispered in his ears.

“I don’t think I can…
She is going to h@ťě me even more”

“h@ťě?
Don’t you see how she is so happy she is carrying your baby”

“She is only happy cos she is going to be a mother.. and she can file a full custody of the child sooner or later”

Doctor naresh was shocked by Andrew’s words.
“Are you out of my mind right now?”

“I think I am”
Andrew said weirdly and walk up to rose.

Doctor naresh sighs.
“This man must be joking”
He muttered and followed Andrew.

Andrew drag a chair and sat beside rose. The nurse walk to doctor naresh and stay beside him.
Rose looked at Andrew.None of them say anything. They both look at each other.
Andrew chuckles and place his hand on Rose’s stomach.
“Is our baby okay?”
He asked. Rose nodded and smile.
“Little Andrew is in there”

Doctor naresh and the nurse just watched them.
“Yeah… Our baby”
Rose smile..

Andrew caress her stomach.

Andrew?
She called.
Do you remember I said I wanted to tell you something when we had breakfast yesterday?

“Yeah…
I remembered, that’s the last time I saw you and Jean before you were kidnapped”
What is it you want to tell me?”Am all hears”

“Am sorry I didn’t tell you before…

“Finally, she admit she loves him
Doctor naresh muttered.

“I was seeing pregnancy symptoms that morning and I ran a test kit in the restroom but I wasn’t unable to check the results because your sister made us go to the beach to have fun”
Rose said.

“And from there, Mr mark kidnapped you both”
Andrew nodded.

“Yeah am sorry for what your sister and I put you through…
Your sister was actually confident you are coming to save us”

Andrew chuckles again.
“My sister never doubted me.. “Why will I leave my family in danger? I would never do that”

Rose smile.
“Thank goodness, you came to save us including our baby”

Doctor naresh and the nurse were surprised they were talking about something else.
“Oh, now I understand…
We need to excuse them, they need a privacy”
He said and drag the nurse out.

Rose and Andrew breathe out in relief.
“Oh, finally they left”
Rose said.

Andrew smile…
“I knew you wanted them to excuse us is the reason I follow up your conversation”

“How do you know that’s what I want?I will feel uncomfortable if I bring up what I wanted to tell you with them being around”

“Your face said it…
Andrew said and help rose put her stranded hairs behind her ears.
Rose smile.
“I can’t believe am carrying your baby” We didn’t planned this”

“Yeah I know, rose.. but it falls at the right time because I was already in love with you
…And I think I already fall for you”
Andrew said.

Rose couldn’t believe her eyes 🥺
“Is he actually confessing?Omg”

“I had fallen for you also, Andrew”
“Am in love with you, rose”
They both said at the same time.

Doctor naresh, John and Jean were eavesdropping from the room door.
Jean was squizzing in all smile and happiness.

Andrew and rose chuckles. He sat down beside her on the bed.
“I have a new proposal for you,Rose”
“This time, a real proposal..

Rose nodded.

“Will you love to be my….
Andrew said but was interrupted when Robert barge in angrily.
