chapter 21
the moon rested at the top of the glass mansion
prince Kyle battle to keep his darkness under control but it wasn’t working at all.
he coiled himself on his bed trying hard to sleep and to ignore the excruciating pain he is feeling . sweat ran down his forehead
as he groan under his breath
“ahhhhh finally ” the whisper echoed and prince Kyle groan trying to pin his darkness from surfacing but too bad he’s not that strong to do so .his gold eyes turned dark with no eye balls just darkness with tiny smoke waving out of his eye socket, the flame symbol on his forehead glowed brighter than ever .he fell down from his bed and knelt down on the cold floor
“ahhhhh ” he scream out in so much agony
the cry of the pince woke Erica from her beautiful sleep , she sigh and sat up and scratch her hair tiredly with a yarn . the first thing she noticed was the bright moon outside and also the weird surge of dark energy floating around her room .
“ahhhhhh ” prince Kyle scream out louder this time she gasped and quickly jumped down from her bed and made her way towards the prince room .
“you highness ” she called as soon as she came in , he was still kneeling with both palms placed on the floor , his head bowed .
“y-your h-highness” she stuttered shifting forward , Kyle lifted his head up reviling his black eyes she flinched and stepped back
he smirked and slowly rouse up .
“ahhhhh finally ” his voice sounded dark and uneasy
“your highness are you okay “she asked frightened by his new looks
” hahaha am not the prince now it’s time to die little human ” he growled and before Erica could see it coming he grip her by the neck and shove her on the wall
“ahhhh ” she shrieked out in pain , her legs weren’t touching the ground due to how high he held her pinned to the wall
“your highness stop please ” she begged but he smirked
“you are a thr_@t to my captive and I h@ťě you so much now this will be your end “he growled and stretched his hands forward and a knife which was hanging beside his wardrobe,the knife flew into his grasp like magnet attraction . Erica flinched with eyes wide open
her face went pale and her blood cold she saw her own dead right in front of her .
“is this how am gonna die ” she thought shaking and by now she’s already sweating heavily with tears running down her cheek like a floating river .
she stared deep into his emotionless eyes and all she could see was emptiness
” please don’t do this am begging you ” she said in a soft whisper but prince Kyle chuckled
“sorry little girl but he can’t hear you so good bye ” he yelled and shove the knife into her stomach with out mercy ,she gasped in pain
“f-friends d-don’t h-hurt each other ” she mumbled and gradually her body shutdown .
” friends don’t hurt eachother ”
her words rang like a bell in the prince head and instantly Kyle dark eyes switched to gold and he gasped at what he had done .he stepped back releasing Erica from his grip .she almost fell but he caught her and knelt down
“no..no..no this can’t be what have you done ” he screamed
Kyle cuddle Erica body close to his and for the first time he was confused with no idea on what to do at the moment ,his heart beat accelerated .
“ahhhhhh ” he screamed out loud
his body let out a powerful wave which traveled all around the mansion knocking down everything and anything on it’s paths . his cloths went ablaze
it burnt slowly to ashes leaving him shirtless and his dark hair was now red like fire .
Mr Carter ran into the mansion but the wave which the prince body let loose hit him and he crashed on a pillar
“ahhhh ” he groan and slowly staggered up he ignored the pain he felt at his waist and his banging head ,he leaped upstairs towards the prince room and just as he got close he saw the prince seated on the floor .his eyes widen when he saw Erica lying on his thigh with a knife buried in her stomach , prince Kyle caress Erica’s cheek with an unreadable expression .
“help her ” prince Kyle said and Mr Carter gulped down
” what happened ” he asked but got no answer from the prince instead he slowly rouse up with Erica in his arms .he lifted his head slowly and his glowing gold eyes fell on Mr Carter who shivered and stepped back frightened by his looks .
Kyle stepped forward close to Mr Carter. “take her she needs help h-he ..h-he made me hurt her “prince Kyle said slowly .Mr Carter took Erica from him
“my prince are you sure you …”
“if she dies I will make sure you will accompany her now get out “he yelled angrily and like a scared dog Mr Carter ran off with Erica in his arms .

Mr Carter got a physician from the isel who took care of Erica wounds and administered some pain relievers .but she still was unconscious sleeping like a baby
“she’s gonna wake up tomorrow so please don’t stress her ,she needs alot of rest to enable her heal faster “the physician said to Mr Carter who sigh with a nod.
every full moon the curse takes over the prince body to reign havoc on any living being around him , it has been like this for years . Mr Carter couldn’t believe the prince was able to take back control of his body after hurting Erica something that has never happened .the prince Kyle’s with out mercy during the full moon
he could remember how the prince had wiped out 10 maids when he was 14 along with over 8 guards with out feeling any guilt but the look he saw on the prince face today was different .
prince Kyle was scared and his expression shows it all.
he took a glance at Erica who was still sleeping an he frown
“something isn’t right here , you don’t seem to be like every normal human . what are you how come you were able to awaken the prince from his slumber .how ” he thought while still staring at Erica
” it’s late Mr Carter let’s return back to isel ” the physician said and Mr Carter nodded and they both left Erica’s room .
late at night after Mr Carter had left the island prince Kyle walked into Erica’s room despite how dark the room was he could still see clearly . he came close to her bed and stared down at her
“thank you ” he muttered and stroke her hair then he slowly turn around and left her room. he laid down on his bed while staring at the ceiling
peace and quietness was all he could feel the dark whisper was gone at least for now ,he exhaled and shut his eyes and he slept off almost immediately .
while the prince was asleep a dark shadow appeared beside his bed , it had no physical body but it’s red eyes glowed brightly like a burning touch .
“what ever that little girl did work , she’s slowly breaking you out of my grip never . you are my slave an will always be no one is gonna set you free because my curse can’t be broken “the shadow growled and vanished out of sight.
the same shadow appeared beside Erica’s bed and it glared dagger at her , it couldn’t help but wonder what’s so special at Erica .
“you most die I will make sure of that , you smell familiar
you smell like … “the shadow trialed off as it leaned close and sniff Erica .
“Mela , how Mela died and so was her daughter if .. if you smell like Mela then it means you’re … hell no you have to die I can’t let you destroy my plans like Mela did “the shadow sneered and in a flash it vanished out of her room ..
