“Boss, you called for me?” Sunny slowly opened the door as she stepped in. Mason was not in his nose mask as he was angrily scrolling through his iPad and looking at what was happening online.
“Does my Grandpa know what is going on?” He looked at Sunny.
“I don’t know sir, I haven’t reached out to him yet sir” Sunny replied and Mason tiredly rubbed on his forehead.
“What now Sunny? Do I have to beg you to do simple things like this!! Rich out to the old man and let him know what is happening online” He said angrily and Sunny immediately rushed out.
“And get back to me!!” He added before turning off his iPad and facing it upside down. The news was just a waste of his time, he should probably leave it to his grandpa to handle things while he focuses on work.
Someone knocked on his door and Alvin stepped in with an envelope.
“Boss, this arrived for you” he placed the envelope on the table.
Mason waved his hands off for Alvin to leave before opening the envelope. His eyes widened with what he saw, the envelope contained about six pictures of Skyler in different outfits including the one she wore today.
At the back of the envelope, there was a phone number. He dialed the number and called it immediately.
After several rings, the person finally picked the call.
“Why do you have a picture of my wife? What is it you want from me that would make you leave me and my family alone?” Mason angrily asked.
The person on the phone didn’t reply.
“I’m not afraid of you bastard, why don’t you come out and face me if you are really a man, why do you enjoy trying to thr_@ten me from afar? Listen I will take wh@ťěver you try to do to me but don’t you dare come for my wife, do that and you’ve summoned a war” Mason added.
The person on the other end began laughing, the voice sounded deep and sounded a little cracked then the person hung up which confused Mason.
Mason stared at the phone, he went to Skyler’s number which he saved as beautiful and went to call it.
Skyler was in class when her phone began ringing.
“One minute please” she excused herself and went out then picked it.
“Beautiful!!” Mason called the moment she picked.
“Huh? Is there any problem? I’m in class now?” She whispered and looked left and right.
Mason exhaled and closed his eyes, he just wanted to hear her voice to make sure she was safe.
“Don’t rush home after class, come to my office okay?” He said softly and she nodded.
“I love you” he muttered.
“I love you too, gotta go now” Skyler hung up and went back to class.
Mason put his phone down and Alvin came in with a book.
“Boss, you’re actually having a meeting with Mr..
“Cancel it, we have somewhere else to be” Mason cut him off and stood up.
“Really? Where are we going boss?” Alvin asked but Mason didn’t reply, he only walked past him after putting on his face mask.
Alvin rolled his eyes and followed from behind.
“Mr Mason, I’ve actually reached out to your grandpa concerning the news and he said that you should” Sunny was talking but Mason only walked past her with Alvin running after him.
Sunny sighed and sat down on her seat.
Mason got to the car and Alvin sat beside him on the driving seat.
“That device for tracking phones with their numbers, tell me it’s still available” Mason asked.
“Yes boss it is,” Alvin replied.
“Good, cause we have somewhere to be” Mason passed his phone to Alvin.

Edna just stepped in her company with a smile on her face. She was dressed in a segzy gown with makeup.
“Miss Edna you look so good”
“Miss Edna I love your dress”
Her employees began giving her some compliments. She only smiled as she walked past them.
“Miss Edna is dressing like she finally has a boyfriend” one of Miguel’s workmates whispered and Miguel just rolled his eyes.
“The guy is so lucky, ma’am Edna is actually hot!” Another person said.
Edna got to her office, Zita was already waiting for her with a smile on his face.
“So are you gonna tell me what this look is all about? Have you finally decided to give Zach a chance?” Zita wiggled his brows as he asked.
“Well, we spoke on the phone yesterday and I told him I have something to say to him but I will only say it to his face” she replied.
“So that stuff you have to say is about you agreeing to go out with him?” Zita asked and Edna bit her lips as she nodded.
“I’m so happy for you girl!!! This is really good news, finally Eddy has a boyfriend!!” Zita began jubilating.
“Okay enough, we’ll be meeting for lunch so I have to wrap things up. Call Miguel and tell him to come over” she rolled her eyes.
“Yes boss” Zita winked and left.
Edna began pressing her phone when the door opened and Miguel stepped in.
“Why did you call me?” He was frowning his face at her.
Edna gave him a type of look before standing up.
“You don’t know how to knock on your boss’s office or even greet? You really don’t know that?” She crossed her arms under her Břě@šť and gave him a type of look.
Miguel only scoffed and rolled his eyes.
“You’re even rolling your eyes at me, are you planning to get fired? You’re not happy that I get to feed your stùpid poor @zz? You’re not appreciated?” She gave him an angry look.
Miguel only stared at her face, he made sure he looked deep into her eyes. When Edna met his gaze, she didn’t know where else to look before she couldn’t look away.
Then he stepped forward and she took a step back too.
“Why did you do that?” He asked, his gaze not leaving hers.
“Do what?” She replied.
He moved closer again and she stepped back.
“You’re doing it again,” he said.
“What am I doing? I think you’re out of your senses, you barged in without greeting or talking with respect and now you’re asking me stupid questions!” She scoffed.
Miguel stepped forward again and she stepped back.
“What is wrong with you!!” She yelled at him.
She didn’t know why she kept moving backwards with each step he was taking but there was something about his gaze that she couldn’t stand.
“What’s wrong with me? Shouldn’t I ask you that? You’re the boss aren’t you?” He smirked and moved forward again.
Edna wanted to step back but her desk was there so she ended up sitting ontop of it. Miguel took the remaining space and caged her tightly with his strong arms on the desk.
Edna stared at his arms, they were muscular and she wondered why a poor guy would have this much muscle. Her gaze moved to his face and her heart skipped a little beat, he was too close.
“You’re crossing the line Miguel, I’m your boss and I will fire you!” Edna gritted her teeth.
“Then go ahead and do that, fire me!” He smirked before leaning closer and bringing his lips to her ears.
“I dare you” he whispered and Edna’s heart skipped another beat, she blinked repeatedly to calm herself down.
“Why do you plan on going out with Zach?” He moved back when he asked and she looked at him.
He smirked and answered his own question. “Is it to just make Regina feel like a loser or is it because you really want to?”
Edna shook her head, she didn’t know how to reply to him.
“I’ll say this again Miguel, I’m your boss and the next time you try to mess with me,I will fire you, I swear!!” She glared at him before stepping down from the desk and leaving the office.
Miguel sighed when she left.
“What is wrong with me? Just stay out of that woman’s business, stop trying to hurt yourself” he muttered to himself.
“But I felt it, I felt some segzual tension between us earlier. I’m I really going crazy or something?” He thought again.

The red light in the tracking system of the car stop beeping when Mason and Alvin arrived in a building that looked like it was uncompleted.
“I think this is where the person is” Alvin said and Mason tried to open his door but Alvin stopped him.
“This place doesn’t look safe, boss, are you sure you don’t want to call your grandpa and tell him what you’ve been going through ever since you left Paris?” Alvin said worriedly.
“Grandpa is old now, he will clock eight soon and I don’t want to stress him with things like this. I will handle it myself” Mason replied.
“What about your dad?” Alvin asked.
“I said I will handle it myself” Mason replied before stepping down.
Alvin sighed and stepped down with him. They both went inside the building, it was empty, no one was there.
“Anyone here?” Alvin asked but no one replied.
Mason brought his phone and called that number. It began ringing, the sound was coming from ahead of them.
“I think the person might be over there. Boss we are not holding any weapon, are you sure we can do this?” Alvin asked but Mason didn’t reply, he was moving forward, following the sound of the ringing phone.
Alvin rolled his eyes and followed behind. If his boss wasn’t scared of death then he was but he had to still follow Mason to make sure he was okay.
Mason kept walking till he saw a door. This was the first door he was seeing in this uncompleted building.
He brought his hands to the door knob but paused for a while. Alvin was holding his breath from behind, he was really hoping Mason would let the knob go and leave but Mason suddenly pushed it open and Alvin ducked.
Everywhere suddenly turned silent before Alvin opened his eyes. Mason was in the room but there was no one there, no one but the phone.
Mason picked the phone up and it had his picture without a nose mask as the wall paper.

STARLIGHT RESTAURANT★
Edna came down from her car, she was dressed in a long coat, sun glasses and nose masks so some people won’t recognize her and take pictures.
When she entered the restaurant, she met Zach sitting on an empty table and she smiled before walking over.
She took off her nose mask and glasses and the long coat too. Zach immediately stood up.
“Edna you’re here, you look really gorgeous” he smiled and helped her draw her chair.
“Thank you” she smiled back and sat down.
A waitress walked to their table with a polite smile on her face. “I see your date is finally here, what would you love to eat or drink?” She asked politely as she passed the menu to them.
“What would you like to drink?” Zach asked Edna.
“Pineapple juice would be fine,” Edna replied.
“Then I will have what she’s having,” Zach replied and the waitress nodded before leaving.
“So, why did you invite me today?” Zach faced Edna and she bit her lips.
“Actually.. are you still seeing Regina?” She asked him.
“Why are you asking me?” When Zach replied, the juice arrived and he thanked the waitress.
“That night when you told me you will end things with her if I agree to go out with you. Have you ended things with her?” She asked.
“Have you agreed to go out with me?” He replied to her with his own question.
Edna took her juice and sipped from it. Why was things harder than
she had practice, she was supposed to say yes wasn’t she?
“You haven’t decided?” Zach’s look slowly changed to that of disappointment.
“I.. I have actually, I want to go out with you and I want you to be my boyfriend” she said immediately and Zach smiled.
“Are you sure? You really want to go out with me?” He asked.
“Yes,” Edna nodded.
“Like you really, really wanna go out with me?” He asked again.
“Yes I do” Edna nodded again and Zach stood up from his chair.
“Do you wanna take a short walk outside? Somewhere where we could be alone?” He asked and she stood up and he stretched his hands out to her then she accepted it.
They both stepped out of the restaurant and Zach turned her to face him and pressed his lips on hers to kiss her.
Edna wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back for a short while before pulling away.
“I am ready to give myself to you but you have to end things with Regina first, when you’re no longer seeing her and you’re hundred percent sure that there’s nothing between you two again then call me” she replied before picking up her sun glasses and walking away with a proud smile on her face.

Mason tiredly rubbed his eyes as he kept working on his monitor. He checked the time, it was almost five which means he should expect Skyler any minute from now.
Soon someone knocked his office, he locked up as Skyler walked in with a sad expression on her face.
He understood why she was sad with everything that was happening to her in the media.
He stood up and moved to her then pulled her closer for a tight hug. She wrapped her hands around his waist and hugged him back.
“It will be fine, that’s how stupid the media is” he said softly and kissed her forehead.
Skyler nodded and he pulled away.
“Are you hungry? Maybe you want to eat and take a short nap in the comfortable room at the back of my office?” He asked.
“I’m not hungry but I want to sleep, if I’m hungry I’ll call you” she muttered.
“Okay then, come” he took her hands and took her to the back of the office then used his password to open the door.
When Skyler wanted to go in, he pulled her back.
“What?”
“You won’t guess what my password is?” He asked and she rolled her eyes.
“I don’t know, what is it?”
“Beautiful,” he smiled.
“Same with your phone password, what else did you use on your device?” She twitched her lips.
“My laptop, my ipad, my computers, my heart” he winked and Skyler only chuckled before tapping his cheeks twice.
“Go to work handsome, don’t try to spoil my nap” she muttered and entered the room.
It looked like Mason hadn’t made use of it yet but she didn’t care. All she wants is to fall asleep on this comfortable bed. She yawned and took her shoes off before laying down.

DELGADOS’ MANSION★
“Who among one of you told Agnes and Hailey that Skyler is pregnant?” Grandpa Mario asked in the dining room when everyone was all settling in for dinner.
“I’m no longer friends with Hailey, I just found out she’s a b– I mean she’s a fake friend” Ivy replied, she didn’t use the curse word because the old man forbade it.
“I’m also not friends with Agnes, I’ve been trying to reach out to her for some time now but she’s not responding” Maya shrugged but her hands were shaking as she tried using her cutleries.
Dylan stared at her hands but he didn’t say anything.
“So are you trying to say a ghost suddenly snitched!! She’s your best friend Maya, someone definitely told her!!” Rosa said.
“And I said it wasn’t me!!” Maya yelled.
“Enough! Since no one is willing to admit them apart from Mason and Skyler, no one is going to be visiting any friends or lovers” grandpa Mario said angrily.
“Grandpa it really wasn’t me, I swear I’m no longer friends with Hailey!!”
“And I’m just about to get my first boyfriend tomorrow! Who’s the d@mn snitch!!” Edna added an argument.
“Skyler, what is so hard to announce to everyone that you’re my son’s wife?” Maya rolled her eyes.
“Don’t drag Skyler mom, it’s not easy to face the toxic spotlight while you’re pregnant” Ivy defended Skyler.
“Actually..” Skyler muttered and everyone looked at her.
“I’ve made up my mind to face the spotlight after I give birth and reveal to everyone about my identity so let Hailey and her mom have all the fun now” she said.
