The men removed the bag they used to cover
Giselle’s face with it. Giselle looked round her
surrounding and could see only two men
standing in front of her. What did she do?
The door swung open and a man walked in. He
was wearing a mask that had a shape of a
cheetah.
“Boss, here’s the lady” The two men said to the
masked man.
Their boss looked down at Giselle for a while
before squatting down in front of her.
“Welcome to my humble workplace. The
greatest drug lord of all time” The man said.
Giselle just looked at him in fear. She has heard
alot about him but no one has seen his face
except his men. He is the one behind the mass
ki||ing of the women but no one knows his
motive for such. He is very cruel, despicable just
name it….
The masked man raised his hand and then
caressed her cheek which made Giselle shiver in
fear.
He leaned closer and brushed his lips against
her ear.
“Tell me, dont you wanna be a member of this
awesome gang. Money isn’t a problem to me. I
just want a favor from you” The mask man
whispered to her..
“What’s that?” Giselle asked.
One of his men walked closer and handed a
picture to him. He took it and then showed it to
Giselle.
“I need you to monitor the moves of this girl.
Watch her like a hawk” He said.
Giselle’s eyes widened as she saw it was
sapphire’s picture. What do these men want
from Sapphire.
But on the other hand there’s money. This man
has a lot of money she could sense it.
Giselle thought for awhile and then nodded…
“Good” The masked man smiled. He knew she
will accept. Girls like her are what they call back
stabbers.
He stood up and turned to his men.
“Untie her and let her go” He said and began
walking out of the room. He suddenly halted
and turned back to her.
“Mind you if you dare betray me, I won’t spare
you” He said and walked out of the room.
????
Derek stared at the papers in confusion. What
does all these mean? Does she really want a
divorce? She really still love Louis?
Derek folded the papers and kept it in his pocket
before walking out of her room closing the door
behind.
????
“Just a little bit more ma’am you can do it”
Sapphire said.
The woman nodded as tears fell from her eyes.
She folded her fist and pushed.
A baby cry could be heard….
“Congratulations ma’am, it’s a boy” Sapphire
said and handed the baby to the nurses for
them to clean him.
“Thanks so much doc” The woman said
breathing heavily.
“No probs, just rest well and take good care of
your son” Sapphire said and smiled then
removed the gloves and head scarf she was
wearing.
She sanitized her hand before walking out of
the room, heading to ger office. She walked in
and sighed then sat down on her chair and
picked up her phone.
A thought crossed her mind and she decided to
call Derek. Well, she kinda missed him a lot. She
dialed his number….
Strangely, he wasn’t picking up. Sapphire hung
up.
“Maybe he’s at a meeting or something” She
said and stood up then walked out of her
office…
????
“Where’s Sapphire” Fabian asked to Emile.
“She’s in there” Emile replied, pointing at the
hospital.
“So any attacks so far on her?” Fabian asked.
“Stranger no, this is really suspicious. I know
they know that Sapphire is their suspect but
why aren’t they attacking her” Emile thought
out loud.
Fabian smirked…
“You know who Sapphire is right? I’m not sure
anyone in their right sense will dare attack her
right now but I’m not so sure about that in the
future” Fabian replied.
“Yeah you’re right, for now we have nothing to
worry about but we still need to keep a close
watch on her” Emile said.
Fabian nodded…
“And you. Dont you think its high time to let her
know?” He asked.
“Well I’m not so sure, let’s wait for some while”
Emile replied.
“Okay, I’ll leave for work now before Derek
starts questioning me ” Fabian said and began
walking away.
He decided to pass through a narrow alley.
Suddenly out if nowhere, two men appeared in
front of him. They were armed.
Fabian halted with his hands in his pocket. He
stared at them boringly….
“What do you want? Did he send you guys to
ki*ll me?” Fabian asked mockingly…
The men ignored him and then one launched at
him. He made to stab Fabian but he dodged it.
He held the man’s hand and then elbowed his
on the back then hit his neck. He fell down
unconscious.
With a swift movement, he removed the gun he
had on him and pointed it at the other man. The
other man did the same….
He knows they’re not here to ki*ll him. Probably
to find out something since they think that he’s
Sapphire father…
“Go back and tell to that boss of yours that the
person that is capable enough to ki*ll me is no
yet born.” Fabian said.
The man slowly began talking steps backwards.
He turned and ran away. Fabian kept back his
gun and looked back at the young man laying
on the ground.
“Kids of today” He mumbled and continued his
road….
Later***
Sapphire stepped her foot into the house. Today
was super tiring for her and most confusing
thing is that Derek wasn’t picking any of her
calls.
She went upstairs to take a shower. She then
heard a sound of car signalling that Derek was
back.
That made her quickly wear her dress as she
was kinda excited to see him. He really got her
worried like sick.
Sapphire the walked out of her room and
headed downstairs. Their gaze locked as Derek
was just entering the house. His gaze hardened
and he walked in further.
“Good evening Derek” Sapphire said.
“Thanks” He replied coldly and placed his
suitcase on the couch…
Sapphire folded her arms on her chest…
“You got me worried sick you know, why were
you ignoring my calls” Sapphire asked and
pouted.
“We need to talk” Derek said calmly which
made Sapphire begin to worry…
He brought out the paper from his pocket and
gave it to her. Sapphire’s heart skipped a beat
as she saw the divorce papers she’s been
keeping…
“Tell me Sapphire, I’m I that bad that you can’t
give this marriage a second chance?” Derek
asked. She could distinguish sadness from his
voice….
“Sapphire, do you still love my brother. I need an
honest answer here. If you still love him tell me
and I’ll sign those papers right here and right
now” Derek added again.
Sapphire looked at the paper in pure confusion.
What kind of dilemma is she in to….
