CHAPTER 56
” What happened to her ?” Hadley asked coldly as she saw tears on Kiara’s cheeks, this wasn’t possible?
“Kiara ” Ashley called as Kiara fell down, what was she even thinking, Antonio didn’t wait for her, what’s the use of coming back ? He has someone else in his life now.
She was a fool to believe he would wait for her, to return, she was a fool to depend on Antonio, she was a fool to trust his words.
But never again will she fall a victim of love, she won’t allow anyone to use her, never again will anyone see her tears.
She will make them suffer for what they had done to her.
Alexis hands clenched into tight fists, seeing Kiara break down made him angry, he could feel his demons trying to crawl out of his skin.
Antonio will pay for this and that’s a fact !!
“Kiara, you can’t break down now ” Ashley said as she wipe Kiara’s tears ” who did this to her ?” Hadley asked.
” Derek ” Kiara replied in a cracked voice and Hadley looked at Kiara ” A weak human did this to you and you came back in tears ? ” Hadley yelled and Kiara crawled back.
She slowly looked up to met Hadley eyes filled with anger ” you disappointed me Kiara ” Hadley said angrily.
” It won’t happen again ” Kiara said as Hadley stepped closer to her ” Get a hold of your emotions, or I’ll skin you alive did you get that ? ” Hadley asked coldly and Kiara nodded.
“Hadley ” Alexis caller and Hadley looked at him ” Don’t support her Alex, or are you having feelings ? ” Hadley asked.
” No, Kiara is still learning how to control her self, no one is perfect everyone makes mistake, take it easy ” Alexis replied.
Kiara looked at Alexis, this was the longest words he has said so far, but why is he helping her ?
” Next time this happens, I’ll take your wings away, do you get that…. Think about the shame they caused you and turn it into anger punish yourself now ” Hadley said .
” I’ll punish myself ” Kiara said standing up and Alexis frown ” Really ? ” Ashley asked and Kiara nodded.
Kiara slowly spread her wings and flew up, ” Am ready to face my punishments without regrets” Kiara said .
Sharp swords appeared and surrounded her in the air and Alexis looked at Hadley who was completely blank.
What’s wrong with him ? Why is he feeling sorry for Kiara ?
” Don’t do this Kiara, you’ll lose your sense of smell ” Alexis warned ” I don’t feel anything anymore, what’s the point ?” Kiara asked.
Hadley lifted her fingers and the swords stabbed Kiara at once making Kiara to scream, dark smoke came out of her eyes and Ashley gasp.
Kiara fell down with a loud thug ” Still too weak, you met them twice and you already started displaying emotions, no one should help her, allow her to bleed, she will come back to her sense after that ” Hadley ordered.
Alexis looked at Kiara one last time before they walked out. The moment the door closed, a creature with red blood shedding eyes appeared.
Kiara stood up with unsteady footsteps as she turn towards the creature.

The next day Ellie went to Skylar house but found everyone there, Derek was still in the hospital as his condition was critical.
Ellie doesn’t want to loss her dad, she made a mistake by meeting Kiara alone, she wants to apologize.
Skylar was right, she can never take Kiara’s place in their life, she was so focused on her selfish desires that she ended up being the cause of her dad condition.
She couldn’t sleep the entire night thinking Kiara was watching her every move, she doesn’t know why she see Kiara in every dark corners.
Kiara would surely come back to hunt her and her family down.
Skylar frowned when she saw everyone there ” what do you all want, haven’t you guys had enough ?” Skylar asked angrily.
” Skylar am sorry my dad tried to ki|| you ” Raymond replied as he looked down.
” I’m late for school, I don’t have Time for these dramas” Skylar said walking out leaving them dumbfounded.
” She’s still upset with us right ?” Oscar asked and they sighed before they walked out.
” Levi, please help me talk to her ” Ellie said as she pulled Levi back ” she’s right in front of you “Levi pointed out
” I can see her but she’s obviously avoiding me ” Ellie pointed at Skylar and Levi shake his head ” How about you talk to Kiara ” Levi taunt.
” That’s a death wish ” Brooklyn added and Levi sighed ” after what happened yesterday, am not sure, she will come back ” Kylie added.
” We misunderstood her Intensions ” Tracy added and Skylar paused as she took in a deep breath before she turn around.
” Can you all just stop, enough please… Stop acting like you actually care about Kiara ” Skylar exclaimed and they paused in shock.
“Skylar-” Ellie paused as Skylar glare at her ” Don’t you dare call my name, this is your last warning ” Skylar warned.
Ellie looked at Antonio direction but he didn’t utter a word, Skylar walked away before anyone could say anything.
” Ellie, why did you go to Kiara in the first place , what was your motive exactly ?” Antonio asked seriously. If he didn’t trace Ellie scent on time who knows what would have happened.
“I…I just wanted to talk to he, I didn’t expect things to take a wrong turn ” Ellie replied and Antonio stepped closer.
” I don’t know what you’re up to Ellie but if things continue like this because of your stupidity then I’ll have to end things between us ” Antonio said coldly.
Ellie stepped back in shock ” Am sorry, it won’t happen again ” Ellie said and Antonio hissed ” she just made a mistake, Kiara was the one who lost her cool “lily pointed out.
“Shut up lily , this is obviously Ellie fault, if she wasn’t so selfish or even went to Kiara in the first place, someone wont have died ” Antonio yelled.
Everyone was taken aback by Antonio outburst, was he that upset ” Antonio am really sorry, I’m ready to apologize to Kiara ” Ellie said .
” Antonio she’s your girlfriend not your puppet, she made a mistake, let’s forget about it “Oscar added.
” This is between I and Ellie, no one should interfere ” Antonio warned as he pulled Ellie towards his car .
” Antonio you’re hurting me ” Ellie said as Antonio pushed her inside the car ” from today, you shouldn’t interfere between I and Kiara matters, you ruined everything so far and that’s enough ” Antonio said .
” It wasn’t my intention am sorry” Ellie said as Antonio closed the door ” Take her home ” Antonio ordered and the driver nodded.
” This is bad, what’s next ?” Tracy asked ” I need to talk to Skylar ” Antonio replied as he walked away .
” What do you want?” Skylar asked as Levi was smiling like a clown ” Nothing much, just wanted to ruin your mood but someone already did that ” Levi replied and Skylar frowned.
Levi stepped clos de to Skylar and she stepped back ” where’s the chain ?” Levi asked and Skylar looked away avoiding his eyes.
Skylar coul easily destroy her chain, the only consequences is that she would lose her powers but Kiara can’t do any of that.
” Well i don’t need powers anymore, with power comes responsibility and I’m not ready yet ” Skylar lied and Levi chuckled.
“You want to use your powers to give Kiara her sight back ? ” LEVI pointed out ” stop reading me ” Skylar replied as she hit Levi.
” Skylar it won’t work, the more Kiara temper with her powers, she Will slowly loss her six senses and become a soulless monster, designed to ki||…. She won’t remember anyone anymore, all she will know is death and revenge ” Levi explained.
