OMG!!!
Rona quickly bent down and started taking steps back, when she was a little bit away from the window she took to her heels and ran out of the university.
She got outside and exhaled loudly.
“I almost got caught” She said, smiling silly.
She smiled remembering the drama she created.
Her mind went to Shane and she smiled.
“He’s so handsome and young, if only my parents were alive, I’d have been in the university studying the course of my choice” She said sadly and didn’t know when tears started escaping her eyes.
She brought up her hand to her face and wiped the tears away.
She sniffed and started walking, the blowing breeze making her hair flow, revealing her natural beauty.
She sighted a restaurant and an idea came to her head.
“Let me try my luck” She said and walked there.
She saw a notice on a board there.
“Servers needed”.
She smiled and walked inside, immediately she went in, she saw an older woman.
“Good morning ma’am” She greeted respectfully.
The woman turned to her with a cheerful look on her face.
“Are you here to eat?” She asked.
“No ma’am, I saw a notice outside saying servers are needed, can you please give me the chance to serve here?” Rona replied.
“Yes, you just came at the right time” The woman replied and she smiled.
“Thank you ma’am”.
“Follow me” The woman smiled and touched her hair.
Rona looked around the fancy interior before following her.
<BACK AT CLINTON UNIVERSITY>
Shane walked out of the lecture hall and began walking straight to his office.
“I’m coming” Charlotte said to her friends and immediately went out.
“She’s deeply in love with Shane” Stella said.
“Don’t let her hear you calling him Shane” Rose said.
“Professor Shane” Stella said and they laughed.
Charlotte followed Shane from behind till she caught up with him.
“Sir” She called prettily and Shane turned.
“Charlotte” He said.
She got wet immediately just by how sweet her name came out of his mouth. Her eyes went to her lips and she started imagining crazy things.
“Did you call me to stare at me?” Shane asked.
“I’m sorry” She smiled and quickly brought out a pink box.
“I got this for you” She said and presented it forward.
“Should I really collect it?” Shane asked.
“Please, I will feel bad if you don’t collect it, I took my time to make it” She said.
“Okay” Shane collected it and walked away.
“Yes!! Yes! He collected my gift” Charlotte said and started jumping up.
She began imagining them dating already.
“I’m going crazy” She screamed.
Meanwhile, Shane kept a frowny face as he held the pink box, it’s not a new thing, he knew she had a thing for him. He collected the gift so she won’t feel bad.
When he got to his office, he dropped the pink box in the trash can.
He held the door knob but stopped, he looked to his right and saw someone looking at him, immediately the person left the place.
He shook his head and entered his office.
He took his suit off and hung it on the chair. He sat down and took a pen when a knock came on the door.
“Come in” He said.
The door opened and one of his students walked in.
His name is Drew.
Shane frowned seeing his face, he’s the only student to walk up to him and request to be his friend.
“Drew, if you are here to..
“Sir, I just want to be your friend” Drew said.
“I told you, I don’t keep friends around me” Shane said.
“Sir..
“Make use of the door” He said coldly and Drew flinched.
“Okay sir” Drew muttered and walked out.
“I just like him, he’s cool to me despite being a cold person” Drew said as he got out.
He took a glance at his office before leaving.

“He accepted your gift” Stella asked surprisingly.
“Yes, I told y’all, he is mine” Charlotte said proudly.
“I wish Valentine would just look at me” Rose said, touching her hair.
Valentine is a popular student in the university, he is one of the most handsome students in the university. He has a cool nature, doesn’t talk much. Though he’s in the same level with Rose, he is in the laboratory science major.
He has a twin named Valentino, handsome like him, he is the opposite of him, loves flirting around with ladies but no one knows whether he’s a player or not. He usually smiles at everything. They are in the same major.
“My eyes are on Valentino, I love everything about him” Stella said, biting her lips.
“So bad our crushers aren’t looking at us” Rose said.
Just then, Valentino and Valentine started walking towards where they were.
“The VV” Stella said and their eyes went there.
“Gosh!! Did Valentine grow more handsome?” Rose said, adjusting her skirt.
“I want Valentino to notice me” Stella said, readjusting herself.
Valentine had his headphones on while Valentino was sucking on a lollipop.
The twins got closer, Rose and Stella started smiling like fools.
“Valentine” Rose said but the twins walked and passed them without glancing at them.
Rose bit her lips sadly.
“They didn’t even look at us” Stella said, their eyes on the twins.
“Let’s get out of here” Charlotte said.
<A GAMBLING HOUSE>
The gambling house is filled with people gathering like there’s no tomorrow.
Some are smoking while gambling. It’s a gambling house but it’s more than that.
Stanley got at the door and the guards at the door blocked him.
“I’m here to gamble” Stanley said.
The guards look at him and make way for him. Stanley went in and started looking around, he was not here initially to gamble, he came for a different reason.
He finally saw who he was looking for and headed there.
A particular spot in the gambling was where the owner of the gambling house was sitting with some Ɓîtçhes massaging him.
“Mark” Stanley called and Mark looked behind him with his tattoo full hands.
“Stanley” Mark said.
“Let’s talk in your office” Stanley said.
“Okay, excuse me Ɓîtçhes”.
Mark stood up and they went to his office.
“I got a package for sale” Stanley said immediately they settled down.
“What package?” Mark asked.
“Here” Stanley brought out his phone and gave it to Mark. On the screen was a picture of Rona.
“Wow!! She’s fresh and beautiful, so how much are we talking about here?” Mark asked.
“$20M” Stanley said and took a cigarette stick.
“$10M” Mark said.
“That’s so small” Stanley said.
“I’m not giving more than that” Mark said.
“It was a bad idea coming to you in the first place” Stanley said, getting angry.
“I’m outta of here, f_ck you Mark” Stanley banged the table and walked out.
Mark smirked and lit a stick of cigarette.
<A RESTAURANT••3PM>
“Here is your pay” The woman said and gave Rona a hundred and fifty dollars.
Her eyes widened.
“Thank you so much” Rona said happily, smiling.
“You can come again, I like you” The woman said, touching her hair again.
“You’re beautiful ma’am” Rona said cutely and rushed out.
“She’s so cute” The woman smiled.
Rona rushed to a pharmacy and got herself some drugs with the fifty dollars and reserved the hundred dollars. Who knows what might happen at home.
She hid the drugs in the jacket as she walked home.
Rona got home and met Stanley in the living room, he was drinking and smoking at the same time.
The usual fear she got anytime she saw him descended on her.
“Unc.. Uncle” She said fearfully.
“Where are you coming from?” He asked.
“I…I went out to hustle” She replied and smirk cross his face.
“What did you get?” He said, taking a long puff.
“A hundred dollars” She replied and brought out the money.
“Give it to me” He said and she took some steps to him.
He took the money from her.
“Leave my sight” He said harshly.
Rona quickly left his sight. At least she got something to save her from him.
<JONATHAN’S PLACE••7PM>
Shane stopped his car and came out, he walked towards the door and opened it.
“Nathan” Shane called.
He heard some noise coming towards the kitchen side. He started walking there but suddenly something hit him from behind. He turned to see Jonathan glaring at him.
“Bastard” Jonathan glared.
“What!” Shane said.
“You made me work out my @zz arranging your house, my whole body is aching badly” Jonathan replied.
“Is that why you hit me?” Shane asked.
“You want more?”.
“Thank you man” Shane said.
“Wow! Is this really you? You just say thank you to me” Jonathan muttered and touched his head.
Shane yanked his hand away and walked into the kitchen, he saw a chicken on a plate and he took a lap.
“Don’t tell you haven’t eaten since you left your house?” Jonathan asked, looking at him while leaning on the counter.
“I’m not a robot, I ate something” Shane replied.
“I hack into Blue communication systems, he is spending the night at a local hotel, room 27” Jonathan said and Shane dropped the chicken.
“Let’s go” Shane said and tried to go out but Jonathan held his hand.
“You don’t have your gun with you”.
“I don’t move around without my gun” Shane stated.
Jonathan quickly put the gas off and followed him out.
They got to the living room and saw footage on one of Jonathan’s computers.
Blue has just arrived at the hotel.
“The bike” Shane said.
A call entered Shane’s phone and he picked.
“What!”.
“Come to the empire now” Luke’s authority voice came up.
“f_ck you Luke” Shane ranted.
“What is wrong?”.
“Drive me to the empire first” Shane replied.
<BLACK AXE EMPIRE>
Shane got down from the bike and started walking inside, the gang members started bowing in respect.
He kept a straight face till he entered Luke’s chamber.
He met Storm at the door.
“Where’s my father?” Shane asked.
“Inside, he is already expecting you” Storm said.
Storm opened the door and he walked in.
Luke looked up from the cocaine he was sniffing and smiled.
“Lucifer”.
“Call me Shane, what are you calling me for?” Shane asked.
“There’s an emergency exchange at LT street, I want you to take care of it”.
“You should have told me that on the phone rather than making me come here” Shane said coldly.
“I wanted to see your face son, don’t you miss me?” Luke asked, smiling.
Shane walked out of the room without answering.
“His temper” Luke chuckled and resumed his cocaine sniffing.

Jonathan and Shane got to the location of the exchange and stopped the bike.
He took out his gun.
Shortly a car drove there and the doors opened, four people came out of the car.
Jonathan got down from the bike with the bag in his hand.
He made an exchange with the guy.
“You don’t look like a mafia member” The guy said.
“Do I have to have a mark on my forehead to show I belong?” Jonathan asked.
The guy walked to the car and got in.
“Should we attack?” The guy asked.
“Don’t, Lucifer is the one he sent, let’s leave” The boss replied.
Jonathan got on the bike and Shane drove away.
<STANLEY’S HOUSE>
Rona took her bath and changed into something else.
She sat on her bed, staring through the window.
She was staring at the skies with a smile on her face.
Suddenly she heard a car horn outside and she stood up, she walked towards the window and started staring outside.
She watched as the person came out of the car and walked into the house. The apartment is the only most expensive one in the area, it hasn’t been rent out for a while now
“A new neighbor” Rona said.
Suddenly the lights in the house came up.
The window opened up and her eyes widened when they fell on Shane.
Him!!. He is the new neighbor next door!!.
“The handsome lecturer” She said and started staring at his face.
Shane suddenly looked up towards her window and she quickly fell to the floor.
“Hope he didn’t see me??”.
