CHAPTER FIVE
What’s going on? What’s happening? I don’t get it. I can’t even wrap my head around what’s happening right now. What’s she talking about? Aren’t I the foolish CEO? Second son? What’s that? Is she okay? Is she crazy? I pulled my hand away from her trying to understand the problem I’ve signed up for.
“Whomever is getting married to my prince charming. I’m so sorry but he’s already taken. He belongs to me, as you can see.” She said, grabbing my right hand forcefully, linking our arms together and then raising our linked arms in the air for everyone to see.
I pulled my away from hers, staring at her intently. “What’s going on?” Because I’m about to lose it right now. The eyes I’m getting from our audience wasn’t what I wanted when I initially thought of this idea.
They seem to be loving what I’m saying. Aren’t they gonna yell at me for bringing a young teenage girl to marry? Aren’t they gonna throw a tantrum for disobeying them. Why are they smiling at me like that.
“I didn’t know you both were that in love with each other.”
Huh? My heart skipped. Okay. Can someone please explain. I turned to look at her. She was smiling at me. Or maybe forcing it, giving me signals to smile too. I did smile because I was scared. She looked like she wanna hit me any minute if I f-__-k this up for her.
“Carmen, I guess this isn’t working.” I whispered into her ears.
On her tippy toes, she blow air into my ears as she spoke. “What’s working?”
“Our plan to fool them with marriage.”
“Our plan to fool who? I’m not fooling. I’m actually gonna get married to you.” She whispered chuckling.
What? So she was really mean about this? I gulped.
“I don’t like your brother, I like you. You’re not as foolish and stupid like your brother.”
I scoffed. Time I corrected her. “I have no brother. I’m the only son of the family.”
She smirked. “Only son? Does that mean the foolish CEO_sorry, that CEO is your cousin? Where is he? Why is he not at the table. I wanna see his stupid face and tell him that I love you and I’m getting married to you.” She said and I wanted to whack her face with a slap.
Is she dumb or something? Don’t she get it just yet? I could hear mumbling from the adults.
“Oh my God. I didn’t know they had this sort of relationship with each other.” My father said while Sebastian smiled looking at us.
“I guess she’s the prince charming my daughter always talked about. This is fate.”

What’s fate? And how’s that got to do with me?
My mom giggled. “They’re so perfect for each other. I’ve never seen my son so protective of someone like that.”
Protective? What’s going on? Can someone please start talking already!
“Your son is growing up. Look at how childish they’re acting around each other.”
“If I knew they were this close, I won’t have tried to stop my daughter from getting married in the first place.”
“Really? I mean, when my son told me that he didn’t have anyone in his life, I thought he’s still hanging around Lucia, his ex but now that I see your daughter, Carmen. I feel so much at ease. They should get married already.”
Then laughters.
Huh? What’s happening? Let it not be what I’m thinking! Oh no! Oh $h|t! Oh my God! What have I done?
“Dad, do you love my man?”she asked giggling.
“Carmen, what are you doing?” I gritted but she was out of control. She pushed me away pulling towards my father.
“Carmen,” I heard her father call her. And then pulled her to his side. “My daughter, first time you’re doing something right in your life.”
Oh my God! Carmen. is. my. supposed bride!! I’m doomed! I’m a foolish CEO indeed! Geezus! How did I not see that coming! How can they marry me off to a kid? I sighed heavily, I wanted to stop breathing immediately.
How can I even marry her? She called me a foolish CEO. She even insisted that it’s not me but the brother and from the brother to the cousin! Ugh! I’m so done for!
How foolish! I even presented my supposed bride to the adults all by myself! Aren’t I foolish?
CARMEN’S POV
“Did you hear that dad? This is my prince charming which we’ve always fought about. He loves me. And I’m getting married to him. So cut the crap about getting married to that foolish CEO.
Mr and Mrs. Alejandro, I’m so sorry but I can’t marry your first son. He’s too dumb for me. I’m sorry I said that but I will marry your second son instead, fair right? ” I said feeling proud of myself.
And the girls were staring at me. I wondered between the two of the matured girls seated at the table, which one is my prince charming’s supposed bride. The one whom he’s going to get engaged to.
I couldn’t tell but they were both pretty, one had a red hair, small red lips and eating quietly while the other had a yellow hair, with rosy cheeks, looked a little bit older and eating too, but they both had their eyes on me. Then a little girlie kid by their side.
I scoffed. They all looked like rich spoilt brats. Is he gonna choose between the two grown girls or something? Ugh! Rich people sucks! How can they make my prince charming choose from the two? Why not give one of these two to the foolish CEO instead of me?
I mean me! A whole me? A prince charming’s bride! Tsk! Well, let me make a quick announcement to remind everyone or tell everyone that the bride of this hunk__oh no! I don’t even know my prince charming’s name. It doesn’t matter, I’m not gonna eat his name. What matters is securing my place as his wife in this life. No one is to come close.

But no one was moved by our news. Just stares and then smiles. Are they buying what I just said? Are they gonna let us marry? Why are they smiling so much?

“I didn’t know you both were that in love with each other.”Mr. Alejandro said smiling and I felt happier. My plan was working. Like a dream come true, I’m getting to be with my prince charming.
His fingers suddenly grazed my ear, a beautiful pleasure spread across my skin, I gasped. “Carmen, I guess this isn’t working.” His breathe brushed against my ear as he whispered into my ears.
The feeling. I wanted to feel it again. I wanted us to whisper into each other’s ears like this forever. Like a couple!
To whisper back, I knew I had to stand on my toes to reach his height since he is so tall, he lowered his height a bit and touching his ear with my fingers felt like a dream come true for me.
“What’s working?”
“Our plan to fool them with marriage.” He whispered back and I furrowed my brows. What’s he talking about?

Like he can’t still believe that he’s getting married to someone as pretty as me. I guess he haven’t really dated before or maybe married before, he doesn’t need to worry. I’m here now. I’m gonna be his first at everything.
And I’m gonna be good in everything. Because of him, I’ve been learning how to cook food. Reading books on how to have segz and types of segz styles too. I want to be the best at what I’m gonna do with him. Oh my! Can’t we just get married already?
I saw the worried expression on his face. Or maybe anger. Why? Is it because I’m gonna be engaged to his brother?

He shouldn’t be worried about that either. The adults are smiling, meaning that they support our dreams. Even my dad is smiling sweetly towards me. He’s not even nagging or shouting at me like he used to. Guess he have seen my handsome king. And he likes him.

But why? Isn’t he happy to marry me? Does he wanna back out? He won’t dare! He won’t say no, not right now. Not after agreeing to marry me. I smiled at him and signaled him to follow suit. And he did. Such a good boy! I love boys that are obedient like him.
“Oh my God. I didn’t know they had this sort of relationship with each other.” His father said while my father smiled looking at us.
I giggled. I looked at him feeling like I’m his wife already. I mean, if they didn’t know and now that they found out, why the wait? They should take us to the altar already!
I badly want to say yes and put the ring on my finger by myself!
Now speaking of our wedding night? Ooooooo…hey! Let’s behave Carmen and never think about how hot, rosy, and how steamy it’s gonna be.
I can’t help it! I can’t help thinking of him naked in bed with me. I wanted to scream. My head wanted to burst. I mean, he’s gonna hold me down with his weight and make me experience a new me. A new me which I’ve been dying to feel since I turned fifteen but I’ve never found someone to unlock it for me.
It’s good that I never unlocked it. It will feel so nice to let my prince charming take it all away. I won’t care.
Is it gonna be his first time too? Of course yes! I don’t think he have ever dated before? But why? No need to bother, it’s good that he haven’t dated before, I won’t wanna think of anyone being in his life before me.
Thinking of how he will hold me. His yellow eyes filled with lust, I’d die when he kisses with his lips. I smacked my lips wishing it will happen right away.
I heard laughters from the adults and I came back to my senses. I guess they’re giving us their approval. That’s a relief then.
My dad was smiling happily as he was looking at me. If only he had listened to me earlier, but I thank him for bringing me here. If not, I won’t have met my prince charming. And thank God I wasn’t stubborn. I can’t believe that I wanted to go back earlier when our car arrived at the parking lot.
“Dad, do you love my man?”I asked giggling. He held my arm, staring at me with a hard glare in his eyes.
“Carmen, what are you doing?” He gritted but I pushed him aside walking towards his father to receive his blessings.
“Carmen,” my father called me. And pulled me to his side. “My daughter, first time you’re doing something right in your life.” He said making me giggle.
“Dad! Don’t say it like that. I mean, if only you listened to me…”
Someone interrupted me. “Thank God for loving my brother even though he’s so foolish. Aren’t you gonna sit down?” The girl on red hair said to me before speaking to him.
He grumbled and came over to a reserved seat beside her. “I didn’t know you loved anyone apart from Lucia.” The girl on yellow hair added.
But my mind registered something. Lucia. Who’s she? And why are they speaking so casually towards him?
“Stop it sis.” He gritted avoiding my eyes.
Sis? Okay, they’re his sisters?? Then where is the Foolish CEO? I guess he’s chickening out already. Or he doesn’t want this marriage either, else, he should’ve showed up already.
I smirked watching everyone’s face.
“Stop it? We didn’t know that you’re so deeply in love with Miss Carmen, Ricardo.” His mother said while everyone began to laugh except the two of us.
Something suddenly didn’t feel right. Ricardo? Is that his name? Why does it feel like I’ve heard that name before. Like I’ve seen it somewhere before?
“But isn’t she brave Louisa? I bet she’s gonna cut him down on his foolish attitude.”
“Bernadette, stop that.”
“But that’s true mom. He’s so foolish. I guess she doesn’t know that he’s called the foolish CEO.”
