Det stones pointed to the seat in front of him.
“How can I help you Mr Andrew? ”
He asked as he sat down.
“I know you are waiting for me to make a move, cos you would have arrested me by now..
You want me to make a deal”
Andrew said and Mr stones smile.
“Because I know your secret, and I haven’t come to get you arrested doesn’t mean I want something frrom you as bribe”

” Let’s go straight why am here.. what do you really want? ”
Andrew asked.
“I should be asking you that, you came over to see me, Mr Andrew”
Det stones replied and folded his hands.
“Alright, since that’s not your motive..
Why haven’t you get me arrested? Or is there not enough evidence?”
Andrew asked as he folded his arms.
“No, Mr Andrew…
I think I just got a confirmation”
Mr stones replied.
“What do you mean?”
“I was lying to you when I paid a visit at your home..I have no evidence to prove it then, psychologically, I only wanted to see your face reaction and your next move after I told you that”
” Wait, let me get this straight…
You came over to my house, lied to me about i being involved in Robert’s murder and also lied to me you have an evidence to back up what you said..
But it was all a lie, and I came over thinking you’ve found out about my secret”
“And now, I want the whole truth, Andrew William..
“I knew you have a hand in his murder…

Mr stones asked as he stares at him. Andrew breathe out as he look around.
“And how many times will I give a reply?
I don’t have anything to do with his death”
Andrew replied.
“Then why did you walked in here looking guilty, I knew you came to offer something I will not be able to resist so you could cover up the secret”
Det stones said.
Andrew scoffs.
“This conversation is over”
He said and stood up before walking out.
As soon as he is out of sight.
Det stones slam his desk angrily.
“Gosh, I was so close, I could have got the truth out of him”

“Inform him, I am going to press charges, no one dare rob me of my money”
Mr mark shouted over the phone that was on loud speaker.
John smile…
“I like when people get pissed, just forget it and move on..
When you have a new business deal, you can reach us”
He replied as Andrew was busy on a file at the back seat.
Andrew’s driver drove into the compound after the gate was opened.
Mr mark keep shouting over the phone as John ended the call.
“Boss, we have arrived”
John said as the driver stopped the car. Other cars stopped behind them.
“Alright,
He replied and got out of the car.
” And one more thing, John… I want to be alone for the day, I need some rest”
He added and walked inside.
“I understand Boss”
John bowed a little. Every of Andrew’s men went back to their security post and position.
Andrew walked into the house and the whole place look abandoned.
He scoffs.
“She eventually went out”
He muttered and drop his briefcase on the bed.
He walked into the kitchen and prepare something for himself.

(Later that the evening)
Andrew woke up after sleeping for three hours, he stood up from the bed, took his phone from the drawer table and walked to the living room.
There is still no sight of rose around.
“Where could she be?”
He asked himself.
He sighs and sat on the couch. John walked in.
“Bring me a glass of juice and chips ‘
Andrew said and took the TV remote from the table.
He put the TV on as John came back seconds later with what he ordered. He placed it gently and face Andrew.
” Is there any other thing boss? ‘
He asked.
“No, am fine for now…
Am just worried about rose, it’s almost 7pm and she is not yet back”
“She will be fine, am sure she is just enjoying her freedom day”
John replied.
“Everyday is free for her, she can go out whenever, wherever she wants… I already told her that.
I don’t know why she still stick to the day I appointed her freedom day before I changed my mind”
” Well, I think she will be home soon, there is no need to worry too much”
John said and walk away. Andrew sighs and focus on the TV.
*One hour later*
Rose walked in a little bit drunk and tipsy. She collapse on the couch tiredly and put off her heels.
Andrew was already asleep on the couch as the TV music was playing on.
Rose smiles and walk to sleepy Andrew.
She tap his nose and chuckles.
“So you did wait for me till I get back? ‘
She said and Andrew opened his eyes slowly.
Andrew look around.
“Did I just slept off? ‘
He asked. He took his phone from the table.
“Yeah, you did..
Rose replied.
“This is 8:40pm already,
Why did you come back so late? ”
“You can’t blame me, I was enjoying my freedom day..
And it has not end, so I still have some hours to go and I can the do wh@ťěver”
“Gosh, you had me worried..
“Wait, What?
You are worried about me?
What happens to the man who said ” stop pretending like you care”
Why are you been caring now? ‘
“So, now it’s my fault I get worried you are not back home early”
Andrew asked.
“If you were kidnapped, who will they blame?
“And besides, I already cancelled today as the only freedom day you have, you can do wh@ťěver you want to do anytime, anyday for as long as you stay and abide by my rules till I get my assets back”
“I don’t remember you telling me that…
You chose Wednesday for me, and I stick to that”
Rose said.
“Really?
Even John remembered that”
“I wish I haven’t waited for you, I should have just gone to bed”
Andrew said and walk towards the staircase to his bedroom.
“Wait, Andrew”
Rose said and walk to him, she hold his left hand.
“Am sorry”
I was just surprised you did wait till I get back”0
Andrew looked at her sorry face and burst into laughter.
“What’s funny?
She asked.
“I wasn’t actually waiting for you, I was not even worried.
Andrew lied.
“I just wanted to watch a movie before I go to bed”.
He said and chuckles.
“What??
So you were lying to me?
Rose said and hit his chest.. Andrew quickly grab her hands and drag her to his warm body. He looked straight into her eyes.
“Do you know any lady who hit me like that do turns up my pleasure mood? ‘
Andrew asked holding her waist.
“So, you being hit on the chest puts you in the mood?
You gat to be kidding me”
“Yeah, if done by a lady ”
Andrew replied and smile.
“That’s a lie..
Rose scoffs and wanted to walk away but Andrew drew her back.
“Then, let me prove it”
“What? No..
Rose said and try to release herself from his grip.
“So are you saying I don’t turn you on?
Andrew asked.
“No, I didn’t say that,.. am only saying a touch on your chest by a lady is a lie”
Rose replied.
Andrew hold her cheek and brought his face closer for a kiss her leaving rose surprised.
“What do you think you are doing?”
Rose asked.
“You already put me in the mood and I want to prove it to you”
Andrew said and hold her waist, about to kiss her again.
Rose moves her head backward a bit.
“Are we about to make out again?”
“Yeah… kind of”
Andrew shrugged.
