Rose sat down in the living room watching TV.
She seems upset and a little bit angry about what happened minutes ago with Andrew.
“He slammed the door at my face”
She said for the fifth time and scoffs.
“Sorry about that”
She heard Andrew’s voice in front of her and looked up.
Andrew was already dressed up ready to go out.
“Where are you going?
Rose asked.
“Stop the pretence like you care about me or where I go to…
We both detest each other so let it stays that way”
And I don’t need you pestering into my matters”
“Alright, fine… But I wasn’t pretending.. I just want to know the whereabouts of my husband. And am sorry about everything”
Rose said trying to apologize.
“You apologies are unnecessary
He replied. and walked out.
Rose sighs.
“Cold and rude as always..
“Will I just be in his big house, eats his food and pretending to be his wife? Just to save his d@mn assets.
What sort of life is this? I can’t even have my freedom?
Haven’t I made a mistake on signing the marriage contract?

Maddie sat down on the couch.
“You both ki||ed Robert suntherland??
Maddie asked.
She brought out her phone quietly from her handbag and press hold the power button function to sound record.
“Yeah ”
Liam replied with a smile and Olivia kissed him in the cheek.
” I can’t believe you can do this, Olivia.. Robert love you so much”

“Yeah, am sorry Maddie but Robert has to die,, we all want what he owns, His money ”

Maddie replied and stood up.
” And where do you think you are going?
Liam said and scoffs.
“Do you think you can just leave like that?”
Olivia asked also.
Maddie became scared. She knows she can’t leave like that.
“You already knows our secret, so you have to die also just like Robert”
Olivia stood up and walk to her.. Maddie shiver in fear.
“Guys, we were once friends remember?
Why on earth will you ki|| me?
Maddie asked as Olivia came closer to her.
She brought out a pocket knife from her side pocket and stab Maddie.
Maddie winced and hold her stomach.
“Am sorry, Maddie
But you can join Robert where he is”
Olivia said and remove the knife from her Stomach, Maddie began to bleed out.
Liam just watched them.
“You two will surely be exposed, I can assure you of that”
Maddie said as she bleeds out blood.
Olivia smile and stab her again on her shoulder.
“Just die, Maddie”
She said frustrated.
“That’s enough, Olivia…
She can’t survive it now ”
Liam said.
Maddie was still bleeding out, she covers her stomach and her shoulders at the same time with her two hands.
Maddie smile and managed to stand up, grab her bag and her phone and rushed out, unlocking the door.
Liam and Olivia were surprised by her courage.
“Go after her,,
Before she expose us”
Olivia said in a commanding tone to Liam.
Liam nodded and walked out following her.
Maddie staggers in the streets of new York, citizen around just watched her with her dress stained in blood.
She had lost a lot of blood and she is going to pass out any minute but she still manage to walk and call down a taxi.
She quickly entered the taxi.
Fortunately, Liam saw her and quickly call down a taxi also.
He entered.
“Follow the taxi vehicle in front of you”
He said to the driver.
“Alright”
“How will one be stabbed twice and still stay alive?
Liam wondered as he keep following the taxi.
“Where is she going to?”

(5:30pm, evening)
Rose look around the living room and she Remembered what she came bere for…
An evidence to proof her lover’s death. She looked around for any of Andrew’s men around.
She smile when she sees no one and quickly walk to Andrew’s bedroom. She try to opened the door using the door knob but it was locked.
“Fingerprints unrecognized”
An automatic voice said.
“Who puts a fingerprints lock on a door in his own home?
She touch the door knob again but still couldn’t unlock it.
She sighs and walk back to the living room. She sat down on the couch thinking of where to check again.
“Where else can I check?
His room is locked,
Have checked his home office..” she said to herself and stare at the TV.
She suddenly thought of the living room and began checking…
She started from the TV set but suddenly Andrew and two men behind him came in.
“What are you looking for?
He asked.
Rose jerk back in fear to face him.
” When did you arrive? ” I didn’t hear the sound of your car”
Andrew ignore her questions and asked her again…
” What are you looking for?”
He asked more sternly.
“I ..I was..
She stutters as she talks.
… was just cleaning the living room.
Andrew stares at her with a suspicious look and turn around to his men.
“Lead her inside”
He said and his men nodded… Two men walked out.
“Lead me to where?”
Rose asked confusedly.
“Not you..
Andrew replied and walk away. He suddenly stopped.
Rose face him .
” I changed a condition on the contract ”
“What??
We already had a deal,, why would there be a change in it again and why did you get to be the only one who can change the conditions”
Rose said almost angrily, shouting at him.
Anger grewed up inside Andrew.. he walk to rose and holdher by the neck.
” I have told you severally, don’t ever raise your voice at me, you are enjoying the fact that you are my wife, if not you will be dead by now”
“Fake wife, Andrew…
I also have the right to raise my voice, am human too”
Rose said grabbing up a little courage.
Andrew released her neck.
“If you still want to live, learn to stay quiet”
He replied and walk away.
“Yeah, the conditions”
He stopped walking again and face her.
” I gave you a day in the week to visit your wretched family who can’t pay common 20 million dollars and you can do wh@ťěver you wants or wherever you want to go to”
And that’s Wednesday ”
He said..
A smile appears on Rose’s face.
“Thanks, and am sorry I shouted at you”
She replied.
Andrew just nodded and walk up to his bedroom.
A lady suddenly walked in, dressing in a skimpy ashes transparenting mini dress showing her Břě@šťs and her thigh.
“And who are you?
Rose asked.
” Mr Andrews is waiting in the bedroom ”
John said to the lady.
The lady hissed at Rose and walk away.
” Who is she?
Rose asked facing John.
“That’s Mr Andrew next segz toy..
He have segz with ladies almost every week and I would advice you,, you won’t like the sounds emitting from his bedroom”
“His room…
Her mind quickly went to the fingerprint door..
“Don’t even think about it”
Her other mind told her.

(Slauson Avenue)
“Ma’am… Let me take you to the hospital”
The taxi driver suggested but Maddie seems adamant.
She knew she is not going to make it.
“No, just drop me here, please…
I will be fine”
Maddie replied.
The taxi stopped and Maddie managed to step out of the car.
She hold her stomach as she walk slowly to a building. An abandoned building.
She suddenly fall to the ground. Someone wearing a mask to his face came out of the building and rushed to Maddie on the ground.
“Maddie…
Hey, are you okay?”
What happened? ”
He kept asking questions.
“Have been loyal to you all this while and now am regretting I will not get to see your face before I die”
Maddie said as she shed tears.
He removed his face mask.
” It’s me Maddie”
He reveals himself.
Maddie smiles and touch his face.
“It’s good to see you again”.
I recorded a some voice conversation on my phone, take it and keep it safe.
I don’t have much time again ”
“The phone has some conversations about Olivia. She and Liam are the real murderers”.
She said and suddenly stopped talking.
Her mouth and eyes was still wide opened. He cried and close Maddie’s eyes and mouth. He planted a small kiss on her cheeks and stood up.
He looked around and noticed a taxi car coming towards his direction. He quickly wore back his mask and ran out of sight.
The taxi car stopped when Liam noticed a dead body. He stepped out of the car and walk to the dead body on the ground.
It’s Maddie’s body.
“Finally, she is dead..
He smiles and look around before walking back into the taxi vehicle.
“She is dead… They ki||ed her”
Liam fake tears as the driver drives out of vicinity.
” Should we call the cops? ”
The driver asked.
” Yes, please
Liam replied as he shed out fake tears.
