HER FALL: INTO HIS ARMS
“Your lips.. they are segzy” He said.
Sanya’s brows raised as the words fell senselessly from his mouth.
Alexander’s eyes widened when he realized what he had done. What rubbish has he just spilled out of his mouth?
Sanya was looking at him, her eyes carrying surprise in them.
Alexander cleared his throat when he noticed her eyes on him.
“Don’t try what you just did next time, I h@ťě people with ugly lips” He said coldly and walked out.
He cursed at himself as he walked out of the empire. He knew what he just said would prevent her from getting the wrong idea. When did he start complimenting ladies? What the hell is wrong with him?
The words fell from his mouth senselessly and he had no control over it.
“Good morning boss” Richard greeted with a smile but Alexander ignored him and entered the already open door.
“Maybe he’s in a bad mood” Richard said and closed the door.
Sanya was still remaining on her spot, a smile plastered on her face. Is she now succeeding in seducing?
He said her lips were segzy and the next minute he said she has an ugly lips.
She released a scoff!!
The reason why she did that was something she couldn’t placed her hand on. Where did the boldness come from?
She smiled as she remembered what she browsed from the internet yesterday. “How to seduce a man”.
A smile crept on her lips as she remembered his words, he’s the first guy to compliment her lips, she literally blush but she quickly covered it up.
She looked at the food on the table and sighed softly.
Victor’s eyes were on Alexander as the meeting proceeded. They are currently in a meeting with some investors and it seems Alexander is spacing out.
He was staring into space. He was trying to get his mind off the words he said to his maid at home.
His hand folded into a fist and as he thought about it.
“So what do you say Mr Alexander?” One of the investors asked.
“I didn’t mean that $h|t” Alexander said out loudly and all eyes widened.
“Boss” Victor called.
Alexander got back from his reverie and saw eyes on him, he then realized what he just did.
“Are you okay?” One of the investors asked.
“I’m fine, can we continue?” Alexander said.
“Hearing the presentation from your manager we gladly want to invest in your company” An investor said.
“That’s great, thanks gentlemen” Alexander said.
“You’re welcome Mr Alexander”.
The three investors stood up and shook hands with him before leaving.
“Boss, what were you thinking about earlier, you were spacing out?” Victor asked.
“What’s my next schedule?”.
“Let’s talk about why you were spacing out” Victor said and Alexander’s eyes widened. When did Victor start questioning his authority?
“Do you want to get sacked?” Alexander glared.
“I’m sorry boss.. Your next schedule is….
Victor was talking but Alexander’s mind started revolving around things.
Anaya smiled as she stared at the blue box in her hand. She has been doing that for almost five minutes now.
She’s standing at the window, staring at the city.
She specially got it for someone.. Someone special to her.
The door rattled behind her and she turned to see her secretary.
“Boss” Sandra, her secretary said.
“Done with the documents?” Anaya asked, walking back to her table.
“Yes” Bella replied and dropped the documents on the table.
“You ain’t having lunch with Alexander today?” Sandra asked, and Anaya smiled.
“No, I would love to but I’m busy today” She replied, sitting down.
“Are you perhaps crushing on him?” Bella asked and Anaya looked up.
Apart from Sandra being her secretary, she is also close to her.
“No” Anaya said.
“Why would you say a thing like that?”.
“Cos it’s obvious to me, you have feelings for him, don’t you?” Sandra asked.
“Stop it Bella” Anaya muttered
“You of all people should know that Alexander doesn’t get close to ladies”.
“Then make him fall for you, give it a try, he hasn’t been in a relationship before doesn’t mean he won’t be forever, you are his friend doing that will be easy for you” Sandra winked.
Anaya looked at her and released a smile.
Albert and Sasha came out of the literature teacher’s office after submitting the names he asked them to submit. None said a word to each other as they started walking to the class.
“Maxim” Sasha called as she sighted Maxim. She ran towards him and hugged him.
“Good morning” She said sweetly.
Maxim looked towards Albert’s direction and their eyes met. They gave each other unfriendly looks before Albert turned to walk away when Khali ran to him.
“Buddy” Khali smiled.
“How are you?” Albert asked.
“I’m fine”.
“You weren’t in school yesterday” Albert said.
“We had visitors yesterday” Khali said.
Albert was about to say something when the D3 appeared.
Khali immediately shifted fearfully as his eyes landed on them.
“You rat come here” Andre said, pointing a finger at Khali.
Khali made to take a step but Albert’s voice boomed.
“Don’t even think about taking a step” Albert said and Khali stopped.
“I say come here” Andre yelled.
“Take a step and our friendship will end here” Albert said and Khali swallowed hard.
“And you bastard, what do you think you are doing?” Andre asked.
“Doing what your peanut brain can’t understand” Albert replied boldly.
“Watch your back, I will come for you” Andre said, giving him a deadly look.
“I don’t entertain empty thr_@ts from $cvmbags like you” Albert said.
Andre walked away with his gang.
“I h@ťě simpleton around me, Khali” Albert said and began leaving.
Khali bit his lips and followed him.

“Why are you smiling?” Annika asked Sasha.
“I’m going on a date with Maxim” She replied and Annika gasped.
“What! When? How? Are you two dating now?” Annika asked.
“No, we are not dating” Sasha smiled.
“You have a crush on him right?, your cheeks are red”.
“No” Sasha denied.
“You’re lying, your cheeks are saying otherwise” Annika laughed.
“I’m not blushing, stop it” Sasha said, looking away.
“Albert is more handsome” Annika said and Sasha faced her with a glare.
“Why do you h@ťě him?” Annika asked.
“Are you having a thing for that arrogant jerk?” Sasha frowned.
“He’s handsome” Annika smiled silly and Sasha scoffed.
“Maxim is more handsome than him” Sasha said.
Albert walked into the class and his eyes met with Sasha, he took his eyes away and walked to his class.
Annika waved at him and he waved back at her.
Bella smiled immediately he settled down.
“Are you okay?” She asked.
“Why? Don’t I look okay?” He replied, taking a book.
“Do you have a girlfriend?” She asked and he faced her.
“What if I do?” He asked.
“I’m just curious” She smiled.
“If you want to know I’m single” He replied and started reading the book he took.
“We are friends right?” She asked and he released a low groan. He was forcing him to talk to her and right now she’s making it more hard for him.
“I don’t know, I don’t make friends with ladies” He replied and she bit her lips, staring at his handsome side face.
“He’s single, I might have a chance” She said smiling.
Sanya entered the kitchen, yawning lightly, she had just woken up, don’t be surprised she can be a deep sleeper sometimes, her slippers tapped on the floor as she walked.
Alexander isn’t yet back but she would cook anyway, it’s her duty to cook for him, she has been wasting a lot of food since she started working here as his maid.
Sanya walked to the counter and stretched her hand to pick a huge pot, but that moment she realized how short she was. Her hand didn’t even tried to reach the cupboard, even when she went on her tiptoes.
She tried again but it was fruitful, she hissed and started looking for what to use in getting the pot. Her eyes landed on a stool in the kitchen.
She smiled and walked there and took it, she walked back to the counter with the stool and placed it before the counter and climbed on it.
“Got you” She said and took the pot.
She was about to get down from the stool but the stool started shaking, it lost its balance.
Her eyes and mouth widened fearfully as what she wasn’t expecting started happening.
The stool collapsed with her and she started falling.
She closed her eyes expecting the worst to hand but she felt herself falling into warm arms. The strong cologne coming from the person hit her nose and she gasped.
Her face was buried into his chest as his hands wrapped around her body.
She slowly raised her head up and her eyes fell on his beautiful eyes staring back at her.
“Boss…Boss” She stammered.
“Clumsy maid” He whispered, his voice coming out so low.
Their eyes met again and they started staring at each other.
