MASON
I was hurt hearing what Avery said but I don’t blame her at all.
It’s not her fault, I know she’s hurt too but hearing that pierced my heart too.
I’m hurt too.
I stopped going to those dinners and I also found out that Arianna too stopped.
I noticed that Arianna had been spacing out ,when our parents invited us to their home I noticed she wasn’t listening.
She looks sad and I guess it is because of Tyler but why the hell is she still going with this wedding.
I sighed.
It’s been a week and I haven’t talked to my parents since.
My mom tried so many times to cheer me up but I wasn’t in the mood for that.
I also heard that she had an argument with my dad.
I was just coming outside the house when I heard them fighting. It’s really rare to see my parents fight.
But I was surprised when my mom told my dad to stop the wedding.
But my dad was being adamant.
What shocked me the most was when she said I was miserable and she h@ťěs seeing me like that
I was surprised, when did she start Caring for me?
But that’s not my problem. In two days, I’ll be getting married.

THE FREEMAN HOUSE
Mrs Freeman entered the house angrily as she went straight to her husband who was in his office.
Without knocking she entered.
Mr Freeman diverted his eyes from the paper in his hand to his wife.
“What brings you here?” He said.
“How could you” she screamed
“How could you let them get married in two days. You even made the wedding on the same day at their engagement party”.
“It’s the best , we need to join our companies as soon as possible”.
“So this is about the company, what about our son”.
“He’ll learn to live with his new life”.
“How could you be so cruel, our son is miserable and all you care about is your stupid company.
We were never there for him all his childhood and now you want to make decisions for him”.
“He’s my son too,” Mr Freeman said.
“Now he’s your son, but when he needed the both of us the most we weren’t there.
“If you don’t stop this marriage in 24 hours then I’m having a divorce with you”.
“What!!! You wouldn’t dare do that”.
“Watch me, and I can’t breathe in the same house as you because I see that all you care about is yourself and no one.
I wonder when you become like this, even our son is afraid of you”.
“What type of parents have we become to our son”.
Mr Freeman was taken aback by the way his wife spoke to him.
“If you care about your reputation very much I wonder what the press will have to say when they hear about our divorce, there’ll have a lot to say about”
“And after the divorce I’m cutting all ties with your company so many losses will affect the both of us but I have brothers who can help me”.
“So you better think about it because I’m serious about divorcing you”.
With that she walked out of the office.
Mr Freeman stood there shocked at his wife. She has never spoken to him like that.
“Was Mason really scared of him?”.
“She can’t divorce me right?”
“Alice!!! ” He yelled but got no reply.
He rushed out of his office looking for his wife but couldn’t find her.
Going to her he noticed she had driven out of the compound.
“So she’s serious about not sleeping here”
He ran his hand through his hair .
She’ll come back right?
Yes she’ll come back , she will.

OLIVER
It’s been a week that Natasha has been begging me and she keeps telling me how much she loves me.
It was really fun but I have to act as if I don’t care.
I guess her punishment is over because I really love this girl.
Today if she does it again I’m going to surprise her by kissing her.
I went to the kitchen to get a bottle of water to drink.
Natasha came after I did but she just ignored me as she took a bottle of water before walk-in away.
“Weird”.
I followed her to the sitting room.
I sat beside her but she stood up and sat far away from me.
A frown made its way to my face.
“Is everything okay?” I couldn’t help bust ask.
She just nodded.
“Are you sure?”
“Hmmm” she replied.
“Then why aren’t you disturbing me”
Finally she looked at me.
“I guess I’ve decided to stop disturbing you, Don’t worry I’ll get this feeling away and try to love Derick back”.
“What!! You’ve got to be kidding me”
“No I’m not”
“I’m the one you love,” I said, getting annoyed.
“But you h@ťě me now”
“Who said I h@ťě you”
“You didn’t talk to me but don’t worry I’ll try to love Derick back”.
I stood up angrily as I pulled her up from the couch.
“No you won’t”.
“Why, you’ve been ignoring me , I know Derick still love me so I’ll—
I didn’t let her finish her statement as I pressed my lips against hers.
It took her a minute before she kissed me back.
We pulled away to catch our breath.
“Took you so long” I turned around to see Roy.
“What”
“I and Natasha planned all this because you were behaving like an @$$h0le”.
I looked at Natasha as she quickly looked away .
“You both are not alright”.
“Dude you were behaving like an @$$h0le and I was getting bored. I needed to see our Oliver who doesn’t like girls falling in love”.
“But I still love you Oliver” Natasha said and I couldn’t help but smile.
“It’s a good thing I recorded it ” Roy said.
“You did what”
“I’m gonna show Westley and Mason , I wonder how they’ll feel as Oliver gets jealous and also you kiss her”.
“You wouldn’t try it”.
“Watch me,” Roy said, running away.
“Get back here,” I said, chasing after him.
I turned to Natasha before saying.
“I love you Natasha” before running after Roy.

THE NEXT MORNING
ARIANNA
My mom took me out shopping to get me a wedding dress.
I couldn’t sleep at all last night because I was thinking about Tyler.
Arianna came to try this gown.
I walked to the dresser and put it on but I didn’t like it.
Infact my mind wasn’t here at all.
That’s when I realized…
I went back and changed into my cloth as I went to my mom
“You didn’t show me the dress,” she said excitedly.
“Mom, is there something I need to tell you?”
“And what’s it?” she said seriously.
“I don’t want to get married to Mason, please call off the wedding”.
“What!!”
