Skyler swallowed the pills in her mouth before pressing her lips together and raising her head up to meet Edna’s gaze.
“Why do you have the after segz pills or should I call it plan B?” Edna’s eyes widened as she asked.
“Look Edna just give it back okay?” Skyler stretched her hands to take it but Edna raised her hands up.
“You and Mason had segz!” She gasped.
“I.. yes we did okay now give me” Skyler wanted to take it from her again but Edna happily raised her arms up.
“Gist me Skyler! I want details!!” She squealed.
“Look, we just had segz okay? Can you give me before someone enters and sees this with you!” Skyler looked annoyed and Edna pouted as she returned the tablet back to Skyler.
“You know you guys are making me someone, each time I look at you and Mason, I feel like finding a guy that would make me happy but each time I think of Ivy, I can’t help but think that love is a stress which is why I’m better off without man, I love my name more, I love the fame” Edna whispered to her and winked.
Skyler opened her cupboard and put plan B inside before turning to face her.
“Don’t just chase fame too much and miss out on starting a new family for yourself but I trust grandpa, he would force you to get married and settle down before he dies” Skyler said and Edna chuckled.
“So concerning your dress, Mason told me that D•S will be holding a competition for upcoming fashion designers so I’ve decided to apply, I’d make your dress there and I should be done with it before the red carpet date” she told Edna.
“Sounds cool, you’re making my dress and chasing your fame at once” Edna smirked and Skyler just rolled her eyes.

Mason just stepped out of the old man’s study just to bump into Rosa.
“Mason..” she looked at him from head to toes and forced a smile at him.
Mason rolled his eyes and wanted to take the other side but she said something that made him stop all of the sudden.
“How did your vacation with your wife go? Were you two able to make some great grand babies for your Grandpa?” She asked with that fake smile plastered on her face.
Mason stared at her and no one needed to tell him that Rosa was behind the drugging.
“Listen to me, stay away from me, my wife and my family affairs from now on have I made myself clear?” He gave her a no play look.
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about?” Rosa blinked and chuckled nervously.
“The next time you try to drag my wife and I into your fuel with my mom then it won’t end well for you, have I made myself clear aunt?” He repeated while giving her a serious look.
Rosa didn’t know what else to say, she just nodded and Mason walked away. In anyways she just smiled before going her own way.

IVY’S ROOM★
Mason slowly knocked on the door.
“It’s open, come in!!” Ivy, who was lying on her head, shouted and Mason opened the door.
The moment Ivy saw him, she jumped off the bed and ran to hug him immediately.
“Bro you’re back, where is Skyler? Why isn’t she coming to see me!!” She pouted her lips at him.
The door cracked open and Skyler stepped in, Ivy went away from Mason and ran to hug Skyler tightly.
“I miss you sister in law, hey Grandpa sent me the pic of Mason you sent to him, I’m glad the both of you were having fun” she held Skyler’s hands as she spoke happily.
“Really?” Skyler smiled.
“Yes , grandpa sent it to me and mom, do you know how bad I wanted to post that on my IG handle?” Ivy groaned.
“Tell me about it,” Skyler chuckled.
Mason’s eyes darkened as they were talking about him, they might have forgotten he was standing there.
“Ahem” he cleared his throat and they both turned to face him.
“I heard about the online clash,” he said.
“Blake and Regina thing?” Skyler’s eyes widened a little.
“Yes, Blake and Regina broke up and the whole world is saying it’s because of me. It’s so devastating” Ivy turned sad.
“Awwn, come here” Skyler went to hug her.
“Don’t say anything concerning the rumors, okay. I will bring up bigger news and they will forget about this” he told her.
“What big news? You will finally tell everyone that you’re Mason Delgado?” Ivy asked.
“That one is for later, D•S will be holding a new competition for fashion designing, announcement will come tomorrow and registration starts next week” he replied and Ivy’s eyes widened in excitement.
“That’s cool bro, are you going to work today?” She asked and Mason nodded.
“Bummer, I’ll just spend time with Skyler instead” Ivy waved her fingers at Skyler and Skyler did the same.
When they were done, they left the room and Ivy’s phone began ringing. It was Blake calling, she just declined and fell back on her bed.

Mason already left for work when Skyler was sitting alone in the room when a knock sounded on the door.
“Come in” she said and Maya stepped in.
She came to visit Skyler when she saw Mason had stepped out.
“Mom” Skyler stood up.
“Skyler, welcome back, I see you had a good time with Mason, how are you?” She faked a smile as she talked politely.
Skyler found it weird that Maya would talk to her this politely but with the little time she had spent living under the same roof with her, she was guessing that Maya wanted some favors.
“That day on the phone when I apologized to you, I felt bad because I couldn’t do it face to face but now that you’re here I want to apologize” she forced a tear out of her eyes and cleaned it.
“I forgive you mom” Skyler smiled at her.
Maya shook her head and went on her knees but Skyler immediately helped her up instantly.
“Don’t mom!!” She said with pleading eyes.
“I’m sorry for all the offensive words I’ve said to you since you came to this house, dad has punished me enough, I haven’t eaten well and see my completion and my legs. I’ve been trekking to work, I couldn’t even go together” Maya cried as she explained herself.
“Mom get up from your knees first” Skyler pleaded but Maya refused to stand up.
“Please I’m so sorry, I’ve learnt my lesson so please plead with grandpa for me” Maya cried.
“I will talk to Grandpa, mom, please stand up,” Skyler replied.
“Really?” Maya asked and Skyler nodded immediately.
Maya agreed to stand up and held Skyler’s hands.
“Thank you so much” she said before leaving the room. She immediately dried her tears and turned back to glare at the door before walking away.

The moment Mason’s car stopped at the parking lot, he saw reporters waiting outside and he let out a quiet sigh.
“Here boss’ ‘ Alvin passed him the nose mask and sunglasses.
Mason collected it and put them on before opening the car and stepping down. The reporters gathered him immediately, flashing their aggressive lights on his face.

They began following him, taking pictures and asking him annoying questions. The hefty bodyguards were protecting him from the paparazzi before they touched some part of his face and body.
They finally got in, the employees were greeting him but he didn’t bother replying as he got to his office.
“Welcome back Mr Mason, I trust you had a good time with your wife” Sunny entered the office in her professional attire while holding a schedule book.
“I didn’t want to wait for you to ask me to do my job, these are the records of everything that happened in the company while you were away” she put it on his table and bowed a little.
“Okay, I’ll call you back if I have any questions” he nodded and she began leaving.
“Hold on” he stopped her and she looked at him.
“Don’t fail to announce D•S will be starting a competition show for the upcoming fashion show tomorrow, put that in your reminder book” he said.
Sunny nodded and walked away from the office and Mason took off that nose mask instantly.
Alvin then stepped in with a small box in his hands.
“Boss, a package for you just arrived” he walked towards the table and dropped it.
“Open it” Mason replied and Alvin nodded and opened the box.
A giant deadly spider came to his view and he screamed immediately. Mason’s eyes darkened as he stared at it, he picked the spider up by the leg.
“Boss..” Alvin covered his mouth so he wouldn’t scream.
How could he keep up an alive deadly spider with his hands. Alvin wanted to puke with the scary sight of it.
Mason took the letter from the box and passed it to Alvin.
“Read it” he ordered.
Alvin opened the letter and began reading.
“I’ve been waiting for you my dear friend, do you like the gift, don’t worry you’d see more than skeleton and knife painting” Alvin’s eyes widened when he was done.
“This is a harassment boss! How long has this been going on, should I call the police or maybe tell your grandpa?” Alvin looked worried.
Mason scoffed and stared at the spider that has been dangling and trying to bite him.
“Put the letter back inside the box” he said and Alvin did as told, he put the spider back in before covering the box.
“Throw it away,” he ordered.
“Boss” Alvin looked worried.
“Now” he said with a black look.
Alvin nodded and took the box then left the office. Mason sighed and rested his head backwards.

“I know you’re behind everything that’s happening online, you followed us to the restaurant and secretly took that picture then told the whole world that we’ve broken up so they would come to Ivy again!” He glared at her.
“Again, what? Now that is reaching!” Regina fumed.
“You think I’m reaching? Well how wouldn’t I because you did it once, what are you not capable of Regina! Listen, stay away from Ivy or you will see my bad book!” He gave her a bad look before storming out of the room.
Regina was still angry, how dare he come in here and accuse her of something she didn’t do all for that wretched granddaughter of Delgado.
“I will give you and your little new girl something not reaching” she said angrily before storming out of the room.

Maya kept checking her account balance and it suddenly came up. She happily just got out of bed before running to the old man’s study.
“Dad” she barged in without knocking and hugged him tight.
“Thank you so much dad” she said happily.
“The next time you misbehave then I will do more than freeze your account, I will make you divorce with my son and leave this family without any custody of your kids” the old man told her and her face turned pale.
“Yes… Yes dad, I promise not to cause anymore trouble” she muttered and left the study room.
When she got back to her room, she dialed Agnes’ number.
“Hey bestie, I’m on my way over to your place” Maya informed her before hanging up.
She got dressed and applied her make up before stepping out of the mansion.
“Carlos!” She called and Carlos ran to her immediately.
“I’m going out, here” she threw her car keys for him.
He nodded and opened the door for her, she stepped in and put on her black shades. Carlos entered the driver’s seat and began driving.

The car stopped in the garage of a big house. Carlos got down and opened the door for Maya immediately.
Maya came down and took off her shades before walking in.
“Agnes!!” She shouted and the door opened, revealing a woman of Maya’s age but segzy in stature just like Maya.
The two women rushed to give themselves a tight hug before they pulled away.
“Look at you Agnes, you look so good” Maya complimented her.
“Thanks and you look..” Agnes stared at Maya from head to toes. “Different, like you haven’t been eaten well, your skin is a bit dark too, honey are you okay?” She looked worried.
Maya turned embarrassed Instead but she cursed Skyler in her mind.
“I was just busy, oh where is your daughter?” Maya looked around.
“She’s not back from school yet, she will be graduating soon” Agnes replied.
“I’m sure she would have become my beautiful, Mason would like her” Maya smiled.
“I thought Mason was married,” Agnes narrowed her eyes.
“He is but it’s not serious, don’t worry your daughter is his taste” Maya chuckled and Agnes held her hands.
“Let’s go in, I have a lot of things to tell you!!” She grabbed Maya and began pulling her in.

Ivy sighed and stood up from her head, she went to peep from the window and saw Blake without outside.
He saw her and nodded at her. She sighed and grabbed her big jacket before stepping out of her room.
She went outside and walked towards Blake.
“Why are you here?” She asked.
“I just want to see you, how are you doing?” He moved closer to her but she moved back.
“Bad, okay? Blake I’m not fine at all, I’m tired and I just need a break! Why don’t you just leave before someone takes a picture of us and posts it so the world starts accusing me of being a homewrecker,a slut, a shameless girl why? All because I liked you and you have a girlfriend? Like I was gonna chase after you or like I said, Blake break up with Regina because I am interested in you.. you know i-
She was suddenly cut short when Blake grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her closer then slammed his lips on hers.
Her eyes widened, she couldn’t move or blink even when she felt his lips moving on hers but she suddenly pulled away and slapped him across the face.
Blake chuckled and turned his face to the other side.
“Slap me here and I might come back to my senses. I mean, how did it happen so fast, I only came to $h00t a movie but I couldn’t get you off my head. I even dumped my girlfriend because I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Each time I wake up, I see your smile, your pretty smile is the only thing I can think of all day without getting d@mn tired, how did it happen because I don’t understand, what did you do to me?” He asked with teary eyes.
Ivy was also crying.
“What did you do to me, Ivy?” Blake took her hands again.
“I’m scared, why are they not attacking you? Why is it only me?” She cried.
“Because social media is dumb! Society loves it when two women beef with each other, don’t give a fûck about what they say, that’s why they don’t come to men because we don’t give a fûck” he told her.
Ivy was still crying.
“Come here” Blake pulled her for a hug and kissed her forehead.
“Social media can’t make us happy, if I were living up to them then I wouldn’t be bold enough to tell Rebecca that I don’t love her anymore, I won’t be bold to tell you that I want to start something serious with you and wipe of all these tears from your eyes so I can see that smile again” he whispered to her.
Ivy slowly looked up at him.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have avoided you earlier,” she muttered.
“It’s okay I understand you, let’s first focus on fixing this online mess and taking care of your mental health before talking about us” he said softly.
Ivy nodded and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist while he gently rubbed her back.
