Luckily for Modeok, there was a knock on the door. The nurse opens the door and enters.
“Good morning,Mr. H….”
“You should swallow your greetings and take her to an available ward. Nurse Joon should be in charge.” Hwan said coldly, cutting her off.
The nurse went to Modeok’s unconciousness body, lifted her up and acted as her legs until they left Hwan’s office. A nurse walked to them..
“Is a stretcher needed?” Nurse Joon asked as the nurse was about walking past her.
“No. It’s something serious; just a minor sickness and Mr. Hwan want you to be in charge of her.”
“That means I have to help,then.” Nurse Joon concluded and she moved to her on the other side; and became her second leg.

Ward number 6
Nurse Joon hung her sethoscope on her neck and check Modeok’s body temperature.
“Her body temperature is normal and there’s nothing wrong with her. What could possibly make her fainted?” Nurse Joon said to herself while she was lost in thoughts, Modeok opened her eyes blinkingly and during her struggling, she saw Nurse Joon as her Granny; she continues looking at her as if she was watching an interesting movie on her face.
“Hello,Miss…” Nurse Joon called with a sweet voice which looks alike as Mrs. Ae-cha voice to Modeok’s ears…
“Are you awake, Miss.” She added bending down; looking into Modeok’s eyes.
Hearing her voice, Modeok woke up like a person being pursed by an hungry tiger in the dream.
” …..Gra…. nny……. Where’s….M…y Granny?” Modeok sluttered.
“I didn’t know who you’re asking of, but you should try to……” Modeok stood up when she remembers what happened before she fainted.
She ran to Ha-da. Every effort made by Nurse Joon in order to stop her proved abortive.

“What happened to your granny?” He asked.
“She has some holes in her heart and I was told to deposit the sum of 60 million Naira before can carry out the operation…” Modeok declared.
“60 million, what?! Ha-da said in astonishment.
“Yes, I don’t know where am gonna get that kind of money from. Please, help me Ha-da. You only person I have.” Modeok said as tears burn down her eyes and her lower lip trembles.
“Why’s this happening now when I don’t even have money? I really wished to help you but there’s nothing I can do.” Hearing this, tears spilled from Modeok’s cheeks. The stored tears continued to flow from her eyes and the sobs wracked her body, rubbing her of the ability to speak.
Modeok didn’t know when she sat on the floor and resting her back on the wall; crying.
Ha-da was distraught seeing her crying.
“How could she be crying and he couldn’t do anything to stop the tears?” He said sadly to himself.
“Why do you call the principal for help? I meant; he’s a rich farmer. Don’t you think he might be glad to help?” Ha-da suggested and she raised her eyebrows at this making him wondered why she declined his suggestion.
“Him? He would only add to my problem. If you witness those innuendo he said to her when she pleaded for my week stay more at school you wouldn’t have suggested that.” Modeok said as flood of hot tears coursing down her bony cheeks.
“I’m sorry about that but what else do you think we could…” Modeok stand on her feet and ran out of sight leaving Ha-da stunned.

“How long will my granny…”
“2 hours more…” Hwan said, cutting her off. Modeok immediately went on her knees and said:
“Doctor, I really tried to get the money but I couldn’t get it. So, I… want… to sell myself as your ser…. vant for the settlement of my granny operation bill.”
“What do you take me for? Did I tell you I was looking for one?” Hwan asked, Enragedly…
“I know. If you aren’t for one, let me be your s*x toy. I can satisfy your s*x urge…” Modeok said with a lower lip trembles.

Mrs. Ae-cha was carried on her stretcher by two stretcher bearers with some attendants and nurses. Mrs. Ae-cha who was unconciouss was lifted unto the stretcher and she was wheeled out of the ward.
Modeok ran to them when she saw them while Ha-da stayed behind her.
“Granny….!!! Wake up, please!!! Don’t die!!” Modeok said placing her head on Ae-cha stomach who was breathing with the help of a oxygen mask.
Some attendants beckons the nurses to drag her out of sight.
“Let go of me….!! I need to follow them, Ha-da please…” Modeok said struggling for freedom but Ha-da never let go of her coz it was for her own good…

3 hours later={Same morning:At the receptionist room}
“Nurse…..!!” My daughter needs to be attended to!” A mother cried out.
Nurse Joon and some nurses went out with a stretcher and the girl was lifted unto the strecher while walking a nurse quickly put an oxygen mask on the girl nose to help her in breathing well and she was wheeled to the operating room…
The girl was already shievering and sweating profusely..
“Your granny will survive it. She’s a strong woman…”
“Yes, I also believe she would coz she made a lot of promises to me and she must fulfilled all those promises. I also made a lot of promises to her and she must stay alive so I could fulfilled all those promises…”
While they were discussing,a doctor walked to them.
“Who among you…”
“I am her Grand daughter. Is she alright? Can…” Modeok asked with her heart palpitates with fear.
“You don’t need to break out in a cold sweat! Everything is under control. She survived the first operation.” The doctor, who has been on a two-minute silience gave some words to ease her distress.
“What do you mean by”First operation was successful?” Modeok asked in astonishment.
“Could you please follow me to my office for there’s some things we need to take about?”
“He can….”
“No, it’s Tete-a tete, Miss.” The door said cutting her off.
Modeok looked at Ha-da and he gave her his approbation by smiling at her.

“Your granny can’t survive the six operations at once…” The doctor declared.
“You mean she has six holes in her heart?” Modeok asked, perplexedly.
“Yeah. The first operation we carry out on her was successful but when we tried to proceed,we almost lost her.”
“Is she okay now? Can she talk now?” Modeok asked. The doctor smiled before replying her.
“Yes, she can’t talk for now; still unconciouss and it’ll take two weeks before we can proceed coz heart tissue grows around the seal permanently, closing the hole.” The doctor explained.
“Thank you, doctor. But will she be awake before the end of the day?”
“That! It depends. But there’s a possibility she would; I can’t guarantee you that…”

“Thank you very much for everything you have done for me today. I really don’t know how am gonna repay you but I will surely do someday.
You can leave now; her health is in a stable condition for now. I hope you have the money…”
“Yes,but what about you?” Ha-da said cutting her off.
“I want to stay here until she woke up. I want to be by her side…” Modeok replied.
“Alright. But please do take care. I will also come and check on her. My regards to her, okay?”
“Okay. You should also take good care of yourself…” Modeok said with a fake smile.

Later in the day
Modeok was taken by Hwan to his mansion. And as soon as they alighted from the car, Modeok stared at the mansion in awe.
“Are you going to keep me waiting till decades?” Hwan said and she went back to her senses.
“I am so sorry, master. I didn’t mean to….”
“Save it!” Hwan said and walked past her while she followed him.
Mrs. Kim ji woon was delighted to see him but stared at modeok.
A maid came to Modeok and take her away.
“Hwan, anything new apart from the operation I witnessed? I hope that woman…Oh! I remember, she didn’t…”
“Good night, Mother. Maybe tomorrow. I meant; let’s leave this conversation till tomorrow. Good night! Sleep tight!”

Following day
Modeok woke up when she heard someone’s voice in her room.
“Is this the right time for a slave to wake up? Do you think you are sleeping in your parents house?! A maid yelled at her.

“Save it! It’s time for the morning cleaning. Go and have your bath coz you’re… Nevermind. Make it snappy!” The maid said and walked away…

Some maids are seen walking. They were seen dressed in a royal maid dresses. Being the first time of wearing a slippery shoes, Modeok missed her steps and mistakenly step on her dress.
“Aahhhh…!!” She cried out as the breeze was making her want to stumble, but something grabbed her on the waist preventing her from falling…
And she heard a voice:

She almost fell hearing the mysterious voice but instead she doesn’t and the mysterious voice came again…
