The chaos was finally over, only the slow breathing from Romeo could be heard. Rosetta kept rubbing his chest soothingly, resting her head on his back. She raised her head a bit and placed a kiss on his back, before resuming back to her position.
Romeo slowly held her hand, caressing it for a brief moment before pulling her hand away. He turned around to face her before cupping her cheeks.
“We did it,” Rosetta whispered to him and he smiled in return. He leaned closer and placed a longing kiss on her forehead, his whole heart filled with adoration for the woman in his arms.
He pulled away and turned to Freudian’s guards who were on their knees, their heads were bent low.
“I have no business with you all, scram!” They all stood up and rushed out immediately, except one. The guard who betrayed Romeo. His head was bent low in embarrassment, he couldn’t look Romeo in the eye, he was too embarrassed to do so.
“Why did you do that?” Romeo asked calmly. He walked to where he was and raised the guard’s chin up so he could stare at him in the eye.
“How much did he pay you? That you didn’t hesitate to ki|| me within a second. I’d have spared you, but for dragging my wife into this mess, that’s a grave mistake you’d ever commit”
“I’m sorry, sir Romeo. I was blinded with the money he offered me, I…”
“Money?” Romeo chuckled and stood right. He glanced at Rosetta before staring back at the guard.
“What have you ever asked from him that I never provide? Is it money? Car? House? Fûcking name it!” Romeo yelled.
“I trusted you Luke, I trusted you! And… You don’t deserve to live! If you could stab me in the back this way, then I wonder what you’d do in the future!” Romeo walked to where he dropped the gun and picked it, he aimed it at Luke’s head.
“ki|| me, Sir Romeo. I don’t deserve to live, I don’t! Please ki|| me and feed my body to the vultures!” Luke yelled in tears. His heart was filled with deep regret.
Romeo, out of frustration, threw the gun to the nearest wall, ruffling his hair aggressively.
“Leave! And, don’t ever let me set my eyes on you ever again! Because then, I won’t set you free”
“Thank you, sir Romeo. Thank you, Mrs. Castillo!!” Luke’s happiness knew no bounds. He could never imagine Romeo letting him go easily.
As soon as Luke was gone, Rosetta clapped her hands and Romeo turned to her. She walked up to him, still clapping her hands.
“You did well,” she grinned.
“Weren’t you scared that I was gonna $h00t him?” Romeo asked in incredulity. Rosetta shrugged and placed her hands around his neck.
“Because I trust you,” she whispered. A warm feeling settled in the bottom of Romeo’s stomach and he stared into her eyes with nothing but love in his eyes.
“I love you” he whispered, pulling her head to his chest. Rosetta smiled and wrapped her arms around him, happy that everything ended well in their favor.
“Please save her,” they heard a broken voice and they immediately broke the hug. Rosetta turned swiftly to find a lady kneeling on the floor. Judging by her dressing, she must be a maid in the mansion.
“Save my Madam, she’s dying” Ivy cried out bitterly. She had been watching the whole scenario from the corner she hid and she couldn’t be less happier when Freudian and his heartless father were arrested by the cops.
“Isabella?” Romeo quickly asked. Ivy nodded her head.
In a speed, Romeo was on the stairs, rushing to the Master’s room. Rosetta went after him with Ivy behind her.
Romeo got to the room and his eyes darkened when he saw Isabella’s state. Was she in this condition because she had exposed Freudian? That was the first question that came up in Romeo’s mind.
Not uttering a word, he disconnected the pipes connected to her body and carried Isabella in his arms. He turned to Rosetta.
“Let’s go” he left the room and Rosetta turned to Ivy.
“How did she end up in that position?” She asked and Ivy explained everything to her.
“That bastard! I shouldn’t have stopped Romeo from ki||ing up!” Rosetta growled, holding her gown tightly.
“No ma’am. You did well by stopping him. If Sir Romeo had succeeded in ki||ing sir Freudian, I’m afraid the cops would have arrested him too” Ivy muttered.
Rosetta frowned. She’d never allow her husband to be arrested!
She conversed with Ivy for some minutes before Ivy finally escorted her outside.
To Rosetta’s surprise, she met Marcus and Valeria outside. Immediately Valeria sighted her, she rushed to hug her.
“Gosh, Rose! I was really worried” Valeria rushed with her voice shaken with emotions.
“I’m fine,” Rosetta smiled whilst playing with her hair.
“You’re fine? You’re pregnant and what if you had lost your baby? How could you do something as dangerous as that?!” Valeria yelled in a scolding manner.
Rosetta broke the hug and stared at her in surprise.
“How did you…” Valeria winked before shrugging her shoulders.
“Everything ended well, that’s a great thing” Marcus said behind them.
“I should be saying that to you” Rosetta muttered. “Right. Were you the one who uploaded that video?” She asked.
“I’m not Marcus Aurelius for nothing,” Marcus bragged.
“We need to leave, she needs to be treated” Romeo’s voice came up in the car.
They all entered the car and it drove out immediately. That moment, they knew within them that a new future awaits them. One which will be filled with happiness, sorrows gone.

Rosetta relaxed in the huge jacuzzi, enjoying the warm water against her skin. They had returned from the hospital that evening and the Doctor had promised to do his best in saving Isabella.
Romeo had gone over to Marcus’s place and he already called to tell her he was on his way.
Rosetta inhaled the scent of the foamy water in her hand and smiled satisfactorily. Her eyes were still closed.
“Having a great time, wifey?” Her eyes opened slowly and she smiled when she saw Romeo in the jacuzzi before her. She could tell that he was also naked as he was shirtless.
“You’re back” she whispered. Romeo grinned before pulling her to himself. He turned her body to his so that her back was facing him. Then, he placed his arms around her stomach, caressing it softly.
Rosetta rested her head on his chest, smiling in nothing but satisfaction. Was this how it feels to be loved? If it is, then she doesn’t want to come out. Never!
“How did you know?” Her voice came out in a whisper. She felt his cold lips on her neck and she shivered.
“Is there anything you can ever hide from me, Vita mia?” He cackled against her shoulder.
“It seems I underestimated you, hubby,” she giggled. She tried to hold his hand around her stomach but before she could, his hands moved to her brêast, cupping the full flesh in his hand.
“Now, I get why you’re suddenly bigger. Because you’re carrying my son… Our baby,” Rosetta released a light Mõ@ɲ when his finger tickled her nîpple.
“Don’t ever do that again, Wifey. I won’t forgive myself if something had actually happened to you” he murmured against her shoulder
“I’m sorry” Rosetta breathed out when his hand continued caressing her brêast, sending a tingling sensation in between her legs.
She turned to him and tilted her head to the left, Romeo pressed his lips on hers immediately.
