CHAPTER 9 & 10
✧ THE SECRET (2) ✧
“You are what?” He asked keenly while her mouth began to tremble.
“I…I…i didn’t say…anything” She shuttered. Bin get from the back seat where he was and came to her. Before she could say jack! He pulled her to himself…so tightly at that. She gasp sharply and his face widened.
She wasn’t sure if it’s because she was shocked by his sudden action or something else, but her heart skipped a beat the moment he hugged her. Bin pushed her back roughly after confirming.
“You lied! You lied!! You aren’t getting away with this” he made to go out of the car but Addison quickly grab his hand.
“Bin…” She got hold of his arms. She shook her head looking at him with a pleading eyes.
“I…I can ex…plain”
“d@mn your explanation! I’m kicking you out and you’re getting sued for this!” He got out of the car but Addison follow stopping him again.
“There was a reason!”
“I’m sure there was..” He pushed her away and she fell on the floor with a thud.
“Ah!” She wince hurting her elbow in the process.
“The airport!! I know who the lady is!!” She shouted after him and he halted.
“What?”
“Your rumoured mysterious lover…I know who she is” She breathes out. Bin scoffs, he turns again to leave but this time he couldn’t on hearing her next words.
“Your pendant!!”
“I know you gave it to her…” She stood up.
“How did you know that?” He quirked his brow. Addison was about answering but seeing the guys coming she stopped.
“I’ll explain everything…please give me the chance” She pleaded.
“Hey yo Bin!!” Ash gave him a slight punch on the shoulder on getting to him.
“You guys were here. We were looking for you” Jia said also. Both Addison and Bin didn’t utter a word.
“Let’s go guys!” Jia claps her hands.
“Ah right! Bin I heard you ran into Viola earlier?” Jia asked Bin who was busy glaring at Addison.
“You should stay away from her for a while…you don’t want the rumors to be confirmed true.” Jia said again.
“Why? Is she not the one?” Ash asked.
“My Instinct tells me it ain’t her. I’m sure Bin knows best” Jia smiles getting into the driver’s seat.
“Bin…do you really have a mysterious lover?” Ash asked but Bin ignored him getting into the van also.
“Go in” Finn said to Addison who has been keeping quiet.
Without saying anything, she got into the van behind Bin and Finn got in also sitting beside her. He flashed a suspicious stare at both Bin and Addison.
Something is definitely wrong. He thought. His eyes caught her bleeding elbow and he frowns.
“Did you hurt yourself?” He asked on her ears.
“Oh…it was earlier at the gym” She lied covering the bruise on her elbow.
STARR BOYZ APARTMENT.
Bin marched to the room immediately they got back home while Addison ran after him.
“What’s with those two?” Ash muttered
Finn watches Addison as she disappeared upstairs.
“Guys you’re having photo$h00ts by 3 let the others know. I’ve got to go” Jia pats Ash before excusing them.
BIN’S ROOM.
Addison went in and Bin jammed the door close behind her. She flinched.
“What do you know about the pendant…no how did you know?”
“First…can you let me explain my situation”
“I don’t wanna listen to it. Tell me the f-__-king thing you know about the pendant right now!” He demanded and she sighs.
“I know about it cause…you gave it to me” She replied slowly.
“What?”
“The lady at the airport…was actually me” She confessed making him scoffs.
“What rubb_” He stopped his sentences midway when she suddenly brought out the pendant beneath her top.
His eyes widened.
“Do you believe me now?”
“You…you were the stalker?”
“I wasn’t a stalker actually…I only got bumped into you and unfortunately my hair got tan_”
“Spare me that. Listen that doesn’t mean I’m letting you go with what you’ve done”
“Please..just listen to me. Give me a minute to explain”
“Why? So you gonna give me some lame and pathetic excuses! I don’t give $h|t about your d@mn explanation!”
“He is my twin brother!! It’s indeed a pathetic excuse like you said but it definitely not lame…if you can listen” she poured out.
“My dear brother had always been a fan of yours since forever. Apart from that…he loved music. He told me…his dream was to sing on a stage with you one day. He really worked hard to make that dream possible but at the very end…he couldn’t be there…to enjoy the wishes he finally fulfilled. Instead he asked me to fill in for him.” She stopped and sniffs.
“My brother had an accident the morning he were to come in to the company to be finally recognized as one of the STARR BOYZ. He was one step close to achieving his dream but…it just had to slip away from him. I couldn’t just sit and do nothing. It was as if he knew this would happen…he had beseeched me to help him complete what he had started in case of any causality. Watching him on the brink of death…I couldn’t ignore his request even though…it’s such a thorn part for me also” She shook her head, tears falling slowly.
“So please help me Bin…please turn a blind eye to this. I promise not to get caught.”
“Look your story may be touching but I’m still not gonna accept this. Go to the president yourself and come clean then I’ll stay back”
“Bin…how could you be so cruel?”
“This is not about me being cruel here. Do you know what this foolish lie of yours could do in the nearest future when it gets out? Do you know you’re lying to the whole world by doing this? Those people trusted you but…you just had to put on a mask to deceive them!”
“I will stop! When my brother wakes up_”
“What if he doesn’t?”
“Don’t say that he_”
“Face the reality newbie. There’s always a possibility he won’t. And when that happens we’d all possibly be ruined just because of you. You don’t even care about the aftermath do you? For people like us…once we do any slight mistake we’d be ruined talk more of something huge like this…you aren’t gonna be the only one to suffer this. I will! The guys will the agency will. I think you should know that much. Now tell me, who is being cruel right now, you…or me?” He questioned sternly while she only whimper silently.
“Get out…and do the right thing” He points to the door and she began walking slowly towards it.
Bin sighs out ruffling his hair.
Aiden’s pleading eyes wouldn’t stop appearing in Addison’s mind. That happy expression of his when he was talking about his dreams coming true.
The enthusiasm and everything. She could tell he was really happy. Imagine the pain he’d be now…not being able to do anything and just lie there fighting for his life. She sniffs and held unto the doorknob tightly.
“I’m sorry Bin…but I can’t do what you want”
“What? She turns back to him.
“I’m sorry but I’ve got to do this by all means”
“Then I’m gonna stop you…by all means”
“Don’t do anything Bin…cause I’m not just gonna sit still either”
“Wow…thr_@tening me now?”
“I’m not”
“Bring it on! You think you can scare me!”
“The airport! I’m gonna let everyone know about it if you dare let my secret out.”
“What?”
“A secret lover who joins the group just because of you her love…me”
“What the f-__-k are_”
“I’m gonna let everyone know that I’m your secret lover and I’ll tell them I joined the group cause of my love for you. Guess what…I’ll evem say you suggested the idea of me disguising as a man just to be by your side”
“You must be crazy”
“They’ll probably believe me…since I’ll be showing them this pendant. It stands as our symbol of love since you gave it to me”
“You’re indeed crazy!”
“I am crazy Bin! That’s why I’m standing here with all foolhardiness saying this to you…I’ll drag you down with me” She said determined. Bin ran his fingers through his hair frustrated. Addison keeps balling and uncleching her fists where she stood nervously.
She knew what she just did may be the most foolish thing ever but she’s just too desperate and that’s the only thing that came to her head at that time. Robin made to collect the pendant from her but she quickly kept it back underneath her top.
“You think a little scare like this will work on me?”
“It still worth a try anyway. And I’m sure you’ll be affected one way or the other if I don’t keep my mouth shut”
“You’re unbelievable and despicable”
“No…I beg to disagree. I’m just powerless and desperate”
“Listen to me…” He grabbed her hand.
“Ah!” She winced.
“I won’t just sit and watch you do however you want. I’m not gonna back down and make sure I see the end of you” He gruffed releasing her roughly.
“Ow!” She held her elbow and sighs.
“If I do this…at least I can take away part of his pain. I’m sorry Robin…but I think I’ve got to do this. I promise to be always careful. And I’ll end this quickly making sure not to bring any harm to neither STARR BOYZ nor the agency. I promise” She said before finally leaving.
Bin scoffs.
“Is he being serious right now! What?! Careful? How is that enough! Argh!! This is all my fault” He slumped on the bed.
He suddenly remember when she saw his nakedness in the bathtub. And embarrassment wash over him.
“Arghhhhh!! He was a girl! That f-__-king idiot is a girl! She saw everything $h|t!” He screamed in the bed hitting his legs on it.
DOWNSTAIRS.
“Ex..cuse me Ash?” Addison called Ash who was heading to his room. He looks back at her and furrows his brows.
“Do you perhaps know where the first aid kit is?” She asked.
“What if I do?”
“Can i_”
“No you can’t” He interrupted her going to his room.
Addison sighs again holding her elbow which hurts.
She walks to the kitchen and rinsed it with water. A tear couldn’t help but escape her eyes as she did this.
“Aiden…what do I do now?” She whimper slowly.
“Hey newbie!” She heard a voice behind her and quickly wipe her tears away.
“What temerity you have…sending your senior on a errand” Ash said walking closer to her.
“I didn’t_”
“Here” he extend the first aid box to her cutting her speech short.
“Thanks…” She mutters about taking it but he withdrew it.
“Why…?” She asked slowly.
“You”
“Uh?”
“Did you hurt yourself?” He asked.
“Uhh…my elbow…a little” She muttered and Ash grabbed her hand.
“I can see it’s really nothing…follow me” he took her to the kitchen counter and she took her seat.Ash opens the first aid kit and brought out a balm. He took her arm checking the elbow.
“It seems pretty serious…you okay?” He asked shocking her. Why is he being suddenly nice?
“Ah!” She wince as he apply the balm on it.
“Shut up”
“It stings” She whined like a baby making Ash chuckles.
“You’re a baby” He knocked her forehead before getting the bandaid covering the wound with it.
“T for thanks” She thanked him.
“I still don’t like you”
“I know”
“I’m glad you do”
“I’m sure you are”
“Shut up”
“Yes senior”
“Isn’t your senior handsome?”
“Extremely”
“I hear that a lot”
“I’m sure you do”
Finn who was coming with an ointment stopped when he saw Ash already treating her. He looks at the ointment in his hand and sighs before going back.
Addison’s giggles fills the place as she chat happily with Ash.

Having nothing to do, Addison took a tour around the house and finally landed at the swimming pool.
“Wow…this is Fab!” She whizzed to the pool, opens the glass door and went in.
“Hmm…nice just what I needed”
She took off her shoes and sat on the edge of the pool. Dipping her legs inside.
“Hmm…” She close her eyes feeling the warmth of the water with her legs swinging splashing water at the same time.
She was still doing this when something suddenly emerge from the water splashing water on her in the process.
“OH, MY F!!” She flinched panting heavily.
Finn gave a her a look, lines knitted on his forehead lightly.
“Why are you so scared?” He asked with his usual blank face.
“How…how can I not be when you suddenly jumped out of the water. My F heart literally stopped breathing!” She pants holding her chest.
Finn studied her expression for a while before leaning closer to her. She leans back as he did.
“Stay still…or you’ll fall” He said to her and she froze in her motion. Finn proceeded inspecting her expression. For Addison, tension rose and it suddenly become hot. She binks repeatedly gulping down nothing at the same time.
“Were you crying?” He asked.
“No” She replied sharply.
“Did you cry?” He asked again.
“I…I didn’t” She tried maintaining eye contact with him but just can’t.
“Lies” He gave her a disapproving look. She sighs out.
“Alright I did. I did okay? Just…a little”
“Why did you cry?”
“I can’t tell you that”
“Why can’t you tell me?”
“Obviously because…it’s a secret”
“Okay” He moves away from her. She exhales sitting right.
Without saying any other thing, Finn got out of the pool his hair dripping hot. No doubt he looks extremely hot. Addison watch in ecstacy as he sweep his hair up making him hotter.
“Aww…” She cooled smiling like a loon.
“Wait!” She got up and ran to him holding his hand. He gave her a question look.
Finn removed his hand from hers looking away.
Addison’s eyes scrutinize his segzy body and it eventually landed on the little scar on his stomach. It must be the one from the karaoke day. She sighs looking back at him.
“Tell me…how did you get that?” She pointed at the scar on the left side of his stomach.
“I fell” He deadpan.
“Ohh you fell…I see” Addison said and he nodded.
“You think I’ll fall for that? Lies…pfft” She puffed.
“You don’t expect me to tell you the actual reason?”
“Why can’t you?”
“Obviously because…it’s a secret”
“Wow…i won’t take that against you. 1_1”
“Can I go now?”
“Wait!” She held his hand again. Finn looks at her hand holding his. He sighs out.
“What now?”
“You..don’t seem to talk much. Do you also h@ťě me?”
“Do I have a reason to?”
“I probably don’t know…you may”
“I don’t h@ťě you” He said and she smiles.
“But I don’t like you either” He added and the smile disappeared on her lips.
“I just don’t like talking to people I’m not comfortable with”
“Then you aren’t comfortable with me?”
“I’m talking to you now ain’t I?”
“So…does that mean…you are comfortable being with me?”
“I’m not” He replied and started leaving.
“Wow…why is he so hard to understand?” She thought out loud.
“Wait for me!” She ran to him.
“Your shoes”
“Ah right!” She ran back to the pool side, took her shoes and ran back to him.
GOLD STUDIO
“Alright…go! Yeah!”
“I love that!”
“Awesome!”
“Fantabulousa!”
“Great!! Good! Perfect!!” The photographer stopped taking shots of the STARR BOYZ and began clapping.
“That was terrific!!”
“Team work! Bravo!!”
Bin and others left the stage and each took their seats with their make up artist attending to them.
“Wow…I love this…they’re practically glowing. Yeah good match” Jia, and the director chat looking at the various shots of them.
“Okay…good work” Jia smiles walking away from the director.
“Good work guys! You were perfect!” She beams at the STARR BOYZ.
“When is this ending?” Bin asked
“Actually you guys are done here…” Jia replied and Addison release a relief breathe.
“Finally…can’t believe we spent almost three hours taking pictures” She muttered.
“Everyone but you Addison” Jia added.
“What?” Her eyes widened.
“You still have some additional shots to take…alone” Jia completed.
“But…”
“Consider this to promote you. Bin, Finn and Ash you’re free to go. You can have your beautiful rest since there’s nothing more for you to do today” Jia smiles at them and almost immediately Bin got up.
“You’re leaving” Addison held his hand looking pleadingly at him.
Bin smirks.
“Good luck” He whipped her hand away and left.
“Hey…oh no!” She facepalmed.
“Let’s go together Finnie!!” Ash throw his arms around Finn’s shoulder as he stood up also.
“Don’t go…please” Addison muttered as they left also.
“Get him ready for the next concept we’re starting in few minutes” The director announced.
AN HOUR LATER.
“Aiden the next concept you’ll be shirtless so you can put on this pants only” Jia said shocking Addison to the bone.
“Come again…please”
“You should change into this pants. That will be your next concept”
“You mean I’ll have no top on?”
“Hmm…change fast so we can all go home. This is the last one” She gave him the pants and moves away from her.
“But…hey wait! I’m dead”
“Aiden hurry!!”
“Yes!” She dragged her feet into the dressing room and locked the door.
“What do I do now…?” She slumped on the floor her back resting against the wall.

“Aiden! Aiden!!”
“Is he still not opening up?” The director asked Jia and others who had been banging on the door for Aiden to open up.
“No director…what if something happened to him?”
“Why did he had to locked the door? I really can’t understand this” One of the crew members groans.
“We don’t have much time this should have ended twenty minutes ago” the director said clearly annoyed.
“I’m sorry director I’ll try to get him out” Jia pleaded.
“Forget it. Get the spare keys” The director ordered.
“Yes sir” One of the workers went to get it.
“Oh no…what do I do…what do I do?” Addison walked around biting her fingernails.
The pants is still in her hand and beads of sweats ran down her forehead.
“I can’t possibly go out like this” She lifted up her top looking at the bind around her chest.
“Here it is director”
“Give it to me” Addison’s eyes grew big when she saw the doorknob opening. She gasp sharply snapping her head to the door.
He finally opens the door and everyone’s eyes widened at what they saw.
Gasps fills the whole room while murmurs began.
