“Ouch!” Dora winced when Lula applied antibiotics on her legs
Earlier when Lisa pushed her, she hurt her legs too
“I’m sorry” Lula blew it slightly and kept that antibiotic back in the first aid kit
“I should have given her more slaps, how dare she hurt you!!” Lula fumed
“It’s okay, I’ll be fine” Dora smiled and managed to stand up
She winced a bit and blew some air before managing to stand straight. Next thing that school bell rang, indicating it was closing time already
“So, we’ll meet at the supermarket right?” Lula asked and Dora nodded
“Wait here, I’ll get your bags” Lula added e rushed out, she came back again with the bag
“Here” she helped Dora hanged it then wrapped her hands around her shoulders
“Let’s go” she said Dora nodded and they both began leaving.

They got out and Lula will have to go an opposite way from Dora
“Stop worrying about me, I can walk myself” Dora sighed
“Are you sure you’ll be fine by yourself?” Lula asked and Dora chuckled
“You worry too much” Dora smiled
“Okay then, bye bye, I’ll get going now” Lula stepped away from her and waved
Dora nodded and waved back then Lula stopped a cab and left since her house was a really far from the school
Dora faced her front and breathed, she began limping back home but it was so painful, her legs was red and it swelled even more
She closed her eyes tight and tried waking fast but she fell down, she stood up and fell again
A tear drop fell from her eyes as she recalled how her father would whip her back with a hard wire, calling her names. Then her mother would come and block her then collect the beatings for her
She tried standing up again but couldn’t so she hit her fist hard on the floor wondering why she has to be too weak
She can’t even defend herself from her age mates all she does is to wait for everyone to help her, is it until they die just like her mom??
Her father h@ťěs her and her mom so bad because he was in a forced marriage with her, she never liked her, he liked her step mom instead
But after marriage, he decided to punish her and her mom for ruining his life with his lover, her mom couldn’t handle all this so she died, she died early in other to work hard and feed her
After her mom’s death, life became unbearable for her, there was no one to be with her, to love her or to help her, all she do is to get beating each time her father or her step mom is angry
Her step mom h@ťěs her the most, each time she beats her, she goes for her face, she had told her countless that she would disfigure her and make sure she turns ugly so she’ll never find love and happiness
And she’s correct, her body is badly disfigured, she just covers with with long sleeve clothes and baggy old jeans
Anyone that sees what she looks like in the inside will run away from her, they’ll feel disgusted by her
A huge shadow interrupted her thinking and she looked up to see Norman standing at her front and looking down at her
How did he even get here??
“I’m sorry I saw you limping out so I decided to follow you” he said than bent at her front to check her legs
“It’s red and swollen, it must hurt a lot” he said softly
Dora looked up at him stylishly, he has this concerned look as he was looking at her legs, it was as if he was feeling the pain too
“He might claim I’m beautiful but I’m sure he’ll h@ťě me after seeing how I look like in the inside” she thought
“I’m sorry I couldn’t do anything to help you” he said guilty making her jolt
“No, you don’t have to apologize, you don’t owe me anything remember?” She replied
Norman only just chuckled and stood the he turned his back and bent at her front
“Hop on” he said
“Huh?”
“Hope on, I’ll carry you” he repeated
Dora bit her lips hard, just what have she done to deserve this kind of nice treatment from him but when he said he liked her, did he really mean it?, Why did he kiss Lisa?, Should she asked him??
“My knees are hurting Dora” he added
She mouthed an ‘oh’ and climbed his back immediately, she wrapped her hands tightly around his neck and he stood up
“I think you should release my neck a little before I pass out” he groaned lowly and she immediately reduce her grip
He chuckled and began walking
“You know my house?” She asked and he nodded
“Thank you” she added
“It’s nothing” he smiled, wishing this moment where he has her wrapped around his back could last forever
Dora smiled and rested her head on his neck, her hot breath against his neck, almost driving him crazy
“Ahh, so are you coming for the Valentine’s party on Friday evening?” He asked, looking for how to start a conversation and ending dirty thoughts from his mind
Thoughts about dropping her, pinning her to a wall and kissing her lips, those soft, plump pink lips until they are swollen
“Hmm” she nodded
“Good, I’ll be there too” he replied and she nodded
“I’ll see you right?” He asked, she nodded again and he smiled
He smiled with the thought of getting to confess to her and making her stay with him, making her being his girlfriend at all cost
He finally got to her house, Lisa was just coming behind them, she was still far away so she frozed
Norman dropped her down carefully
“Make sure you don’t go to work today, so you can recover” he said
Dora nodded even though she knew that she was still going to go
“I’ll see you tommorow” he waved, she waved back
“Good night” he turned around and began leaving
“Wait” she called and he looked back
“Thank you” she said with a smile
He smiled at her and nodded then left. Dora smiled too and limped back instead
Lisa clenched her fist from where she stood.
“So I’ve really lost my change” she muttered and nodded
“Keep enjoying him if it will ever last” she added and turned around, going to where she was coming back from.
