Mrs taylor walked to her and hugged her.
“Finally get to see you,,,
She hold her cheeks.
“Am sorry, my husband and I are just trying to keep you safe when we left you at the orphanage”
“I understand, ma’am..
Jaylen and Jenny already explained everything to me”
Josephine said.
“Just call me,, mom
Am also your mother”
Mrs taylor replied and hug her again.
“Alright, enough of the family reunion, let’s get to work and bring this man’ @zz down”
Mr James said clapping his hands.
“You all should come to the living room.
“Mr James,, we are still having breakfast”
Mave said and the others laughed.
“Okay…
Finish up your breakfast quick please”
Mr James replied.
“Mom,,, how did it go?
Jenny asked and sat down beside her mom on the sofa.
“What’s that??”
“Mom,,, you said you went over to CRL to see Mr Carter”
Jenny said.
“Yeah, I did..
I warned him and I left”
“Hope he didn’t hurt you”
“No, why would he touch or try to hurt me,,,
He knows what am capable of”
Mrs taylor replied…
Jenny smile..
“Don’t worry,, when this is over, I will take you and Josephine on a vacation trip”
Mrs Taylor said.
“I would love to…
Jenny smiles.
Mrs taylor looked at Jaylen.
“I think you were right,, your boyfriend is actually brave”
Her mom whispers to her ears.
“How do you know that?”
Jenny asked.
“When I had a conversation with Mr Carter I could see in his voice he feared his son,,,
I mentioned jaylen’s name during our conversation and he seems to be scared..
“Did Jaylen thr_@ten him or something?”
“Yeah, he kinda did that..
Just to save Josephine actually”
Jenny replied.

Mrs taylor said and smile at jaylen.

Everyone sat down on the couch and stare at Mr James.
“Why is everyone staring at me??
It’s making me uncomfortable”

“Can we just get this over with and start this sort of meeting we are having?”

Jaylen asked facing Mr August.
“That’s what we are about to do…

“So all we have to do is to press charges..
That’s how we start,,
Bringing the murder case from years ago,,
We will let the case resurface again ”

But I still think Mr Carter might be up to something else”
Josephine said
“There is a reason he released me… Mr Carter can’t just let me go”

Mave said
“Well,, it’s good he released you even though we don’t know what he is planning”

Reporters and camera men filled the front of CRL.
Mr carter and his men walk through the reporters as his men keep protecting him from the crowd.
All the reporters are trying to get his speech on the murder charges charged by Mrs Taylor.
A female reporter managed to reach Mr Carter,,,
?”Mr Carter,, can you please give us a minute??

She asked as angry mr Carter walk towards his vehicle.
All cameras were on him
He walked in and sat down,, breathing out in relief.
The reporters and camera men all surrounded his vehicle still trying to get a word from him…
The car drove our roughly out of the crowds.
“Call me Helen right now…
I don’t understand what’s going on?
Why the f_ck will I be charged to court?
He shouted angrily at death who was in the front seat of the vehicle.
“Alright, boss
Will do that right now”
He replied.

(Jaylen’s apartment)
Jaylen and mave came down the stairs… Jaylen was drinking a coffee..
Olivia and Jenny were watching the news at the TV…. Olivia smiles as she watched.
” How many times will you watched that, Jenny? Jaylen asked.
“I just smile when I see Mr Carter scared,, I guess our charges accusation took him off guard”
Jenny replied.
Mave and jaylen just nodded.
Jaylen walk to Jenny through her behind and kiss her hair.
Jenny smile and face him.
” I see you and mave are all dressed up,,,
Where are you two going? ”
She asked.
” Do you guys want to leave us bored here?
Can we come with you guys? ”
Olivia asked.
” No, we are going over to see Mr August and he requested for only mave and I”
Jaylen replied. Mave just shrugged.
” Maybe he needs us for something ”
Mave Said.
” Alright don’t be late before coming back.
Olivia replied.
Noah smirks..
“These two lovebirds are something else”
“Noah, mind your business”

Jaylen and Mave walked out.
“Jenny, I think we should make lunch,, am really hungry right now”Olivia said touching her stomach.
Jenny smile and stood up walking towards the kitchen.

Noah stood up and walk upstairs.
“Am going to get some nap, guys..
Wake me up when lunch is ready”
Olivia hissed and put off the TV and followed her…
“Do we have still have some groceries?”

He sat down angrily on the sofa thinking of what to do..
“Those bastards have an evidence against me,,, that’s the only reason they could bring back the charges against me”
And they must have a powerful lawyer to stand for them”
He thought and gaze at death bowing slightly in front of him.
Helen and Pearl walked in.
“Gosh,,, did you like to die?”
He asked facing Helen…
“No, Mr Carter,,,, am sorry for ignoring your calls,, I was busy with the work you assigned to me”
She replied and lowering her head.
“Just leave that for now,,, we have serious matters right now”
He replied.
“Sir,,, I have bad news*
Pearl said and walk up to him.
Mr Carter groaned and sighs.
” Fill me in”
” Mr August is handling the case of Mrs Taylor,, he is behind those charges”
Mr Carter scoffs..
” I knew it,,, No surprise they did this,,
“What should we do now,, Mr Carter?”
Death asked.
“We are going to eliminate their supporting root so they will fall”
He smile.
“Are you saying,,, we should eliminate Mr August??
The lawyer”?
Helen asked.
“Yeah,, or how else should I explain this,,, once mr August is gone,, we can fightback”
Death quickly nodded to avoid issues.
“Helen, go after Jenny and Josephine..
I want them dead before the end of today and without no traces…
I don’t want any trail leading to me”
” Sir, I think that might be difficult… Jenny and Josephine rarely go out these days,, they do stay indoor in Jaylen’s apartment always ”
And the tracker we plant inside Josephine ‘s body always go out of range”
Helen replied.
Pearl gasped.
“Oh gosh,, Josephine has a tracker”?
“Find a way,,, Helen
I don’t want to know how,, I just want those two girls dead” you can take some of my men with you.

Pearl followed behind him
Pearl began to worry pacing around the corridor
How am I going to warn them?”
She thought and suddenly spoke out..
“Can I use the restroom??
She asked.
Death gaze at her..

Pearl quickly rushed to the restroom, close and lock the door and quickly brought out her phone.
She sent a text to jaylen and mave.
She sighs breathing out in relief.
She click on the flush button of the ceramic sink and walk outside..
Helen was watching her hands at the other side of the restroom.
“Hey,,, are you okay?
Pearl asked as she put her phone back into her pocket..
” Yeah, am fine

“Yes… But don’t you think Mr Carter is going to far?
Pearl asked as she fold her arms and walk to Helen.

“Pearl,,, I don’t know what you are talking about..
Let’s just get back to work”
Helen replied.
Pearl sighs..
“Sure,, D is waiting for me already”
“And who is D?
Helen asked.

As in death?
“Oh, you short his name?
Helen laughed..
“yeah,, I don’t like wishing bad stuffs for myself so I prefer to call him D”
Pearl replied.
” Well, that seems okay?
She said as they walk out of the restroom.
“Hey ladies,,, over here”
Death said waving his hands.
“Bye,, Helen
See you tonight”
Pearl said and smile.
“I pray Josephine and Jenny are safe”
She thought
“Sure”
Pearl quickly rushed to catch up with death as they entered into a Van.
” What took you so long? ”
Death asked.
“You don’t have to know..
Let’s go please*
Pearl replied and death scoffs
The black Van drove off.
“Can I have a details about this lawyer information?? I need to find out where he always visit or where he stays maybe”
Pearl asked.
Death took a single file behind him.. gave it to Pearl
“That’s everything about him”
He said.. as Pearl stares at a single sentence on the page
“Just this?”
“Yes”
Death nodded.
“This man really hide his life and privacy from the public..
How are we going to catch someone who is just like a ghost?”

(Back at jaylen’s apartment)
Jaylen and mave rushed inside…
“Jenny
Jaylen shouted as he walked in.
” Josephine”
He called as he look around.
Mave rushed to the kitchen but couldn’t find them.
” Where could they be??
Has Mr Carter come for them already?”
Mave asked.
“No, don’t say something like that.. be positive,,
Jaylen assured as they keep looking round the house.
Noah came downstairs staggering as he walks.
His face was pale.
He yawned like someone just woke up from sleep.
“What’s going on?”
“Jenny and Josephine are in danger right now..
Pearl texted me..
My dad is really pissed off about what we did and now he wants Josephine and Jenny dead,,
Some men are after Mr August also”
” Then, why are two still here?
Noah asked.
“We came to check on them…
Where are they?
Mave replied.
Mr Carter planted a tracker into Josephine’s body before releasing her and am very sure he is trailing behind her right now”
” I don’t know where they are,,, your noises just woke me up ”
Noah replied and yawned again..
” Alright, let’s do it this way…
Mave go over and warned lawyer August while I and Noah will try and find Josephine and Jenny”
Jaylen said.
Mave nodded and rushed out.
” The last time I saw them,, they wanted to prepare meal for lunch and that was the time I went upstairs to get some sleep”
Noah said as jaylen keep thinking.
” And I don’t think they actually made anything,, I didn’t smell an aroma”
Jaylen kept thinking.

They both said at thesame time and gasped.
