“No…no,no! My babies!” Dexter slumped down in tears.
Poison being injected into Ann’s body? With a baby inside her? How can someone be that wicked,a lady in that matter.
Doesn’t she have a heart? Gosh! This just the height of it. Wendy is more than a devil,and Dexter cannot believe he once dated her. She’s so heartless!
“I am so sorry you’re going through such pains,sugar pie” Sana sobs lowly.
Mina broke down instantly,when she heard that. She just couldn’t take it,and she’s currently in Derek’s arms sobbing.
Janice remained silent and couldn’t say a thing,she’s just out of words. What does she even want to say that she has not said already.
Seeing how her son is acting like an insane person,and with what she has just heard that is being done to Annika,carrying her grandchild.
She absolutely has nothing to say again.
“Why are you helping us? Hope this isn’t one of your stupid schemes?” Dalton glared.
“Why can’t any of you trust me? I know I’ve always been the bad guy,but trust me this once.
“Even if I’m not doing this for anyone,but for Anni’s sake,okay?
She may be someone else’s now,but I once loved her too,and my heart won’t be at peace if I just sit and watch her die,when I know I can actually help her.
“We have to act fast. Wendy doesn’t only want the Company’s documents,she doesn’t even care if she does not get the documents.
“She wants to ki|| Anni because she thinks she’s the reason Dexter didn’t take her back,and she’s not in for any child’s play.
“She’s going to ki|| her with,or without the poison,if we don’t save her on time.
^^FLASHBACK>>FEW HOURS AGO
After some hours of being unconcious,Annika faintly woke up,but only to see Roland in front of her.
He was the only one left in the dark room with her.
“You wicked being! I can’t believe you could stoop so low to join them in doing this to me! Don’t you have a heart!?. How can you do this t someone you once love?!” Annika flared,her drowsy eyes lighting up with rage instantly.
“I am here to help you,Anni. Look,I am done fighting Dexter over you or any Company.
“I joined and followed them here because I wanted to know the place they took you to,after Lira and Spencer told me about your abduction.
“I am changed now,and here to help you. I know you don’t believe me,but you have to trust me and stop being stubborn,else Wendy is gonna ki|| you earlier than she planned.
“I can’t help you all alone,cos we might be caught,and that would be very bad.
“So,stay and don’t be stubborn. I’m going to let Dexter know where you are” Roland said and left immediately without saying anything else.
Annika’s eyes were filled with tears,as Roland was saying all that.
What happened to Roland? Is he really saying the truth?
Annika kept wondering. Somehow she trusts him,but as it is right now,she doesn’t know who to trust again.
And as for Wendy…
“What did I ever do to her?” Annika sobbed,as she wondered.

“Let’s go already,what are we still waiting for? I can’t lose Ann,no I can’t. And neither can I lose our baby” Dexter said,and started running out.
“Put yourself together,man and let us find a way out of this. Where are you going when you have no plans of how to get her out of there safely.
“Don’t do things that will make you lose her for real,calm down,jeez!” Derek queried Dexter seriously and he calmed a bit.
“What do we do,Roland?” He asked calmly, but tears still dropping down.
“Here’s what we are going to do” Roland started explaining to them.
^^GRAHAM’S RESIDENCE^^
“Oh,jeez! Why isn’t she picking my calls?
Have been calling since yesterday,but she picked none,and didn’t even bother returning the calls.
“Wait,is there something wrong I did for her to be ignoring my calls?
“Or wait,what if she’s not alright? What if she’s sick? What if something bad has happened to her and I’m here making conclusions” Brielle continually talked to herself,pacing around.
She has been calling Verity since yesterday but she isn’t picking,neither has she returned the calls.
Brielle even sent her messages,but she replied none,and she’s really worried about her new found friend.
Aside Avery her sister that is so nice,she has also found a sister in Verity. Now, she’s so worried about her.
If only she had visited Verity before,she would have known where she lives,and would have gone to her place to find out what is really going on.
“Sis…? What’s going on,why do you look so worried?”Avery asked,sitting down.
“She still isn’t picking”Brielle said,throwing her hands in the air in frustration.
“Hmmm,are you sure everything is okay with her? This is unlike her”Avery furrowed,and Brielle sighed heavily.
“I don’t even know what to think again,Avery. I’ve been wondering if maybe I did something to upset her”Brielle sat down too,saying.
Avery chuckled unintentionally,and Brielle frowned,hitting her lightly on the shoulder.
“How can you be laughing at me in frustration?” She folded her arms,a bit angry at her sister.
“Sorry I’m laughing,sis. But what could you have possibly done that will make her stop picking your calls? Even if you did,she would have told you about what you did.
“I’ve not met her before,but with the way you talk about her,and even your conversations over the phone that I hear. I don’t think she’s someone who can ignore her friend like this,no matter what her friend may have done
“You’ve been calling and texting since yesterday,yet she isn’t responding. Don’t you think she might be sick or something.
“She was the one who promised to take you out yesterday,right?” Avery asked,and Brielle nodded.
“Then chill,and go to her house to find out what the problem is” Avery shook her head,staring at Brielle funnily.
“I don’t even know where she lives” Brielle pouted,a bit ashamed.
“Jeez! How can you be friends with someone and don’t know her home?” Avery unbelievably said.
“Stop adding to my already frustrated self,gosh! We planned to go to her place once we were done from our outing” Brielle gushed.
“Sorry….” Avery apologized slowly.
“Where is that good for nothing ungrateful girl that has refused to leave my house?” Came Marther’s voice,sinking deep in Brielle’s ears.
The moment she heard that,she knew she’s the one her mom is referring to,cos who else would it be,if not her?
It is so saddening that her mom h@ťěs her for no reason.
“What is it again this time? Did you do anything?” Avery asked,wondering.
“Do I ever do anything before she starts getting mad at me?” Brielle answered with a question,sighing.
“Witch! I’ve told you many times to leave my house,but you’ve refused to.
“Find a job,no! The one you managed to get,you used your witchcraft and made them sack you,because you don’t want to work.
“You just want to stay at home always,eating my food like a pig and doing nothing.
“Why did you eat my food,you witch!” Marther shouted.
“What are you talking about,mom. I didn’t eat your food” Brielle replied defensively.
“Of course you’ll always deny it,thief!” She barked at Brielle,and was about slapping her when Avery intervened,and she ended up getting slapped.
“Mom,stop it! I was the one who ate the food,why do you always blame her for everything?!” Avery yelled at her mom infuriatedly.
“Shut up,or I slap you again,big mouth. Why do you always cover for her,when you know she’s nothing but an ungrateful witch!” Marther yelled back.
“You better tell her to leave my house before I do something that will make her regain her…
“Mom!! What is your problem? Why can’t you just let Brielle have peace of mind for once?” Avery cut her mom off.
“Brielle is going nowhere unless the owner of the house says so,and that’s dad” Avery confidently said it to her mom’s face.
