Mrs Dior could be seen passing around worriedly…
“ honey what’s the matter with you ,, you’ve been looking restless since Clifford left for school ..is there something you would like to tell me? Mr Dior questioned walking towards her ..
“ not really,,,am just worried about the poor girl,,,I even heard she called off her show tonight,,and That’s all thanks to Clifford,, Mrs Dior said calmly..
“ you shouldn’t be to bothered about this ,,,I will talk to her dad,,,and you can also go and see her ,,youno that will make her feel much better..Mr Dior said patting his wife’s shoulder…
“ have been thinking,,,what if she gets pregnant?? Mrs Dior jibbed thoughtfully.
“Then we will have no option than to marry her for him,,to save us some shame ,,, Mr Dior said without thinking..
“ and you think she’s ever going to accept that ?? You and I knows That’s what Clifford wants ,,he wants to make her his ,, but for the girl it’s the other way round,she h@ťěs him more than anything,,she doesnt even want to see his face ,,,and you think this marriage will work ,? Come on That’s not possibly! Mrs Dior said rolling her eyes dramatically..
“ we should just pray and hope it does’nt go beyond our reach,,cos by then …we are doomed! Mr Dior said before storming out of the house..

Poppy stormed into the room only to see Clifford putting on his shirt..
His eyes widen when he saw her ..
“ guess she’s finally came to tell me she’s ready to marry me ! Clifford thought foolishly..
“ no !! That look in her eyes at friendly at all.,,he thought staring at her ..
She got to him without giving him any chance to speak,,she landed two dirty slaps across his face..
He staggered back in shock cos he never saw the slap coming…
“ you still have the guts to show your disgusting face in the premises after what you did to me right?? Poppy yelled angrily..
He remained silent..not knowing where to start from ,,he bent his head ..
He hasn’t been feeling guilty since the incident,,but just now the case was different ..his heart felt so heavy ,,and for the first time he regretted his actions..
He held his cheeks with his eyes not leaving her ..
“ are you just going to stand like the f00l you are and Continue glearing at me ?? Poppy yelled at the top of her lungs..
“ am sorry !! He muttered guiltily..
“ you are sorry ?? Poppy asked in disbelief..
At that moment Clifford thought went far ,,,he thought poppy was amazed that he actually said sorry ,,that was the first time he would be telling anyone sorry ,,he hadn’t told anyone that,,not even his own parents..
Of course I am,,so now can you forgive me ?? He asked more like an order..
“ forgive you ?? Poppy asked smicking evilly.
Clifford nodded..
“ you are a fool for thinking that I would ever forgive you ,,,come on!! That’s impossible..not in this life time !! Poppy snapped almost spiting on his face .
“ that day.. I never wanted to rape you ,,but I don’t know what came over me ,,, believe me it’s the work of the devil …but trust me have realized my mistakes,,,if you could forgive me ,,I swear I will forever be grateful,,and I will change my ways ,,,just don’t ignore me ,,all I want is for you to love me im return,, nothing else,,,he said calmly trying to hold her hands..
She gleared at him ,, shifting back,, slowly he withdraw his hands .
“ any ways there not the reason I came here !! Poppy said ..he raised up his head to look at her ..
His heart became limping in merry ..
