Evelyn sat on the chair, facing the mirror as the makeup artist do some magic on her face.
It has been one month already since that incident happened.
Times flys fast right?
Everything was perfect like she has prayed for. Having the best finance ever. A man who is ready to protect, care for her, and he spoils her with gift everytime.
He buys her jewelry, clothes, and brought her a new phone.
She can’t stop smiling whenever she remembered him.
His family has really gotten more closer to her even his uncle, and counsin. The both family will sometimes have a dinner together.
There was a time they both had a quarrel because martin came home late, and evelyn suspected he was having an unfair at that time.
She really didn’t know what made her say that, and it had lead to them quarreling that night. When his family heard that, they scolded him.
She couldn’t help but laugh as she remembered those moments.
He was so angry with her, and won’t even talk to her. He has claimed shs didn’t trust him enough.
Not until she seduced him by laying naked on the bed. That night he was the one begging.
She bursted into laughter again, making the makeup artist look at her “like is she okay?”
Her friends had really be there for them, to advise them, and to make sure they never made mistake.
Martin is still the possessive type, and don’t be surprised guys……She is pregnant.
A week ago she was feeling so sick, and she decided to go to the hospital yesterday only to realized she was pregnant.
Her joy knew no bound, she hasn’t tell anyone today though…she planned on telling them today.
Having people who cared for her was something that kept her going. Friends who stood by her, a boyfriend who protect her, a lovely parent who wish her the best, in-laws who cares for her, and a cute sister who she love dearly.
Ava really liked martin alot. They were in holidays, and most times she spent her days with Martin at work even when he has an important meeting.
There is a certain moment she can’t just forget, and she laughed alot when she remembered it.

“Seriously sweetheart, are you sure you wanna bring her along to the meeting?” Evelyn asked as they walked to the meeting room, and martin sigh.
“Do I have a choice,” He pointed to ava who was clinging unto him, and evelyn laughed
“Absolutely you don’t. She really likes you, you know. She won’t even let me carry her this days,” She pinced ava cheek, and martin chuckled.
“Are you jealous now?” He raised his eyebrows, smirking.
“If course I am d@mn jealous. She won’t let me carry her anymore, and….you are given me less attention,” Evelyn hissed, and martin laughed.
They got to the meeting room, and everyone eyes widened as they saw him with Ava.
Is not like this was the first.
“What’s with the look. I bet the child would not stop us from having the meeting. Will she?”
“No sir,” They all replied.
“Our last meeting we talked about bringing another project, and boss told us to draw wh@ťěver we think it is best,” Evelyn said, reading from her notepad.
“So what’s the update?” He asked, and they all stood up slowly, handling him a book each.
It was a drawing of a computer each.
“Hmmm mr Wesley I don’t like your upcoming project. The drawing clearly shows that it is not programmed enough. Our last project had a remote control so our next should clearly have…but yours don’t have so I don’t accept this,” He gave him back his book, making the other look at each other.
They were all nervous.
“Hmm please mrs Ruth. Work more on the drawing, and give me later,” He said, and handed it to her.
“Thank you sir,” She said looking so excited.
Mr Wesley frowned, and glared at martin angrily.
“Hey why are you staring at him that way,” Ava suddenly yelled, making all attention turn to her.
“What the hell are you talking about?” Mr Wesley chuckled nervously.
“Why were you glaring at him. Your work wasn’t good enough so why are you staring at him that way,” Ava yelled, and everyone eyes widened.
Martin turned slowly to look at mr Wesley who was speechless.
“I am so sorry sir,” He bend down his head
“Hey that is okay,” Martin said, and ava scoff.
“Don’t you ever f-__-king look at my brother-in-law that way,” Ava said, and evelyn sigh.
This is what she was trying to band. Ava like using words like “f-__-k, Ɓîtçh, @$$h0le, which she is clearly trying to stop.
“Hmmm sorry go ask. How old is she?” A woman asked, staring at ava.
“9,” She replied, and their eyes widened in shock.

Evelyn laughed, and shake her head making the makeup artist sigh.
Wondering what is the occasion? Today is her birthday, and martin insisted she celebrate it big.
“Ma raise your face a little please,” The makeup artist instructed, and she did as she was told.
“Bestie,” The door open revealing Elizabeth, and Charlotte.
“Hey guys,” She waved, and they both hugged her not minding the expression of the makeup artist.
They have really gotten close recently, even more than Haris but Haris still remain that friend she never had.
“Sister in law,” Charlotte called, and evelyn blushed.
“Hmmm you are looking pretty. I bet my brother would be able to look away from you,” Charlotte said, and they all laughed.
“Am so nervous,” Evelyn said, and elizabeth frowned.
“Why are you nervous girl. You got this,” Elizabeth said, and evelyn sigh.
“You know this is my first time celebrating my birthday this big, and I am d@mn nervous,” She said sincerely.
“Come on. Seriously you don’t have to be nervous. You got us around you,” She said, and evelyn smiled.
“Okay,”She simply replied.
