I opened my eyes as the rays of the sunlight shine brightly on my face. I sat up and my stomach made a funny sound
Oops!
I didn’t have dinner last night, all thanks to that jerk. I walked to the bathroom for girls stuff. I came out , applied a lotion and after scattering my tiny wardrobe, I finally settled for a tank top an shorts.
I walked out of my room and met Richmond setting the table for breakfast. I smiled and ran to the table, dished out mine and I devoured the pancakes and cappuccino
“Hey, is that how to say good morning?”. He asked but I ignored him
“Did you suddenly turn dumb overnight?”. He asked again and I still ignored him which made me increase my pace
He walked towards me and made an attempt to take the food away but I slapped his hand away. i glared at him before I finally spoke up
“I’m sorry”. I said with a mouth full of pancakes stuffed in my mouth
“Like seriously?”. He asked and I rolled my eyes at him
“I just said I’m sorry”. I said calmly and continue devouring the pancakes. I took a sip from the cappuccino and spat it out immediately
“Why didn’t you tell me it’s hot?”. I asked and clean my mouth
“You will tell me when you became blind that you can’t see the steam from the coffee”. He replied rudely and I scoffed
“So tell me why you weren’t at work last night, and you are not even……..”
“I lost my job”. I cut in and he stared at me before laughing
“I said I lost my job and you are laughing and you are laughing like a maniac”. I said angrily and he stopped laughing
“Tell me you are joking”. He said
“Do I look like a clown to you?”. I asked rudely
“How did it happen?”. He asked ignoring my question
I took my time to explain to him not skipping an part
“So what do we do now?”. He asked and I shook my head negatively
“I don’t know. That jerk should keep praying we don’t meet else I’ll remove his teeth and leave him toothless. Wretch”. I ranted and Richmond just stared at me like I’ve grown two horns. He sighed and walked away
