“Someone is here to see you,” A police officer said and drag him out of the prison.
A smile formed on his lips immediately he saw martin.
“Father in-law,” Martin called, and hug him, and the old man chuckle.
He was trying to sound respectful so the man wouldn’t think he is ashamed to hsve him as a father in-law.
“Oh dear,” Mr Jackson said, and then they both sat down.
“You called me and I came here. I am having a flight in 2 hours so I came before I leave the count,” Martin said and the older man nodded.
“You are worthy of my daughter,” The older man said and martin smile.
“I am flattered,” Martin said and the man chuckled.
“You know martin you are one of the reasons my family lineage is not destroyed,” He said, his gaze fixed on martin who didn’t understand what he meant.
“I don’t understand you father,” He said.
“You know I just didn’t want to tell you this, but then I realized that you are the only one who could protect my daughter and my family,”
“Sir I don’t get you but I am sure going to do anything to protect evelyn, even If it means I will have to give my life,” Martin said seriously, and the other sigh staring at him.
“I find out recently that the one who wants to harm my family is a business partner of yours,” Mr Jackson said and martin eyes widened in shock.
“What…that is not possible. I have never offended any of my business partners in any way,”
“You might or you haven’t but the h@ťěred is with me and my daughter…Do you know mr tom?” Mr Jackson asked, his eyes narrowed at him and his eyes widened.
“Mr tom. I know he was not a good man,” Martin said gripping his fist angrily.
“Let me tell you a story.”
“There was two friends named tom and Jackson. A day came and Tom told jackson to walk him to a hotel but jackson bluntly refused, because her daughter was coming back from college. Well he did followed him. They had got into a room and then tom said he wanted to go outside for a moment. After he went outside the police came immediately. They claimed someone was ki||ed in the room and under the bed was a dead girl. Jackson had pleaded that he knows nothing about it but then a small knife was pulled out of the chair he was sitting down. They checked the CCTV camera and found out that jackson sneak into the room to ki|| her but he didn’t,”
“Do you think jackson ki||ed him or not?” He raised his eyebrows looking at martin who seem shocked.
He understands the story well. He understands the fact he was talking about his own story. How he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
“He was arrested but then he decided to take the case to court because he knows he was innocent but then his beloved friend came to visit him at the prison. He had taught he came to paid him a visit but then he said Jackson should admit he did the crime or else he was going to ki|| hiw family and Jackson had no other choice to do as he was told, but then the judge probably felt pity for him because he took the bribe and decided to sentenced him to life imprisonment instead of death by hanging. Do jackson plead guilty or not?” Mr Jackson said and martin sigh.
“Father in-law, you were accused, you fell into a traped you never expected, he probably used your face as the ki||er when he was the one,” Martin said, and mr Martin chuckle.
“Just as expected of martin parker. You are very smart,” He said.
“Father in-law I promised to bring justice. I will get you out of here,” Martin said.
“I don’t really care if I die here but I want you to protect my family. Recently tom came here to thr_@ten me. I have paid some men to help me investigate the case but then he finds out and ki||ed them. They were probably close to getting the truth and that had angered him and he said he was going to ki|| my family,”
“He wouldn’t dare come close to them sir,” Martin said seriously and mr Jackson smile.
“You are too Worthy of my daughter, and I am happy you and my daughter are together,” Mr Jackson said and martin laugh softly.
“Time up,” A police officer said and drag mr Jackson up harshly making martin frown.
He grab hold of the officer cloth harshly almost tearing it off.
“How dare you?”
“Just because he is a prisoner doesn’t mean you have to disrespect him. He is old enough to be your father,” He yells, and by now most of the police were already around.
“Oh my f-__-king geez, that’s popular business man Martin parker,” A female police officer yell.
“Martin, enough. You are going to ruin your reputation,” mr Jackson Said. Martin glared at him before pushing him away.
“You are going to pay for this, get ready to be fired in 1 hour,” He said and walk out.

“Mum,” Ava called, and rush into the older hand.
“Oh my princess,” She kisses her cheek, and ava smile.
Evelyn stood by the door staring at them, and she slowly clean the tears gathering in her eyes.
She just feel so scared to loose her mother. She have heard of some people not making it alive and she is really scared to loose her mother.
“Mum,” She called slowly moving towards her, and they both hug each other.
“How have you been doing?” She asked as she pat the both girls hair.
“She have been doing fine. She wouldn’t even care for me anymore, all she cares about is uncle martin,” She folds her hand looking so angry and they Bursted into laughter.
“Come on ava, you know I will never abandon you,”
“I know. And I am happy that you are with uncle martin,” Ava said, and evelyn smile patting her hair softly.
“Where is martin?” Her mum asked.
“Mum he is going for a business trip but he would be back next week.” She replied, and her mother nodded.
Almost immediately her phone rang. She smile immediately she saw the name HEART DEAREST
“Hmm mum excuse me,” She said, and rush out while her mother just smile.
“She is going to talk to uncle martin again,” Ava said and her mother laugh softly.
“Martin,” Her tiny voice called through the phone and he smiled. Just by hearing her voice always put a smile on his face.
He sat down like a king on the plane, a wine placed on the table, and he took a slip from it slowly.
“Babe I miss you already,” He said and evelyn couldn’t help but blush.
“Well I really haven’t miss you, because doctor celeb had managed to keep me company,” Evelyn said, and martin eyes widened. He grip the table angressively trying to keep it cool but he couldn’t.
“What the f-__-k evelyn. How dare you be with other men that seek your heart,” Martin yelled through the phone, and evelyn Bursted into laughter making martin frown.
“You think this is funny?”
“I know you were gonna get angry about it. I was just joking about it dude, you don’t have to feel so angry about it.” Evelyn said, and he smiled and rest his head on the back of the chair.
“You know that is not something to joke with eve. You know your man get angry easily seeing men around you, and I was d@mn ready to come back now,” He said, and evelyn bursted into laughter. Martin smiled and close his eyes, listening to his favourite music.
“Martin,” She called but he wouldn’t answer her.
“Martin,” She called again.
“What stops you from laughing. I want to hear your melody tone,” He said softly, in a d@mn romantic way and evelyn couldn’t help but blush.
“I am in a hospital Martin. People will think I am mad if I start laughing that way,” She said, and martin chuckled.
“How is mum,”
“She is doing fine,” evelyn sigh.
“Babe I told you not to worry already. Mum is a strong woman, and I am sure she is going to come out strong and healthy,” Martin said and evelyn sigh.
