A man was seated in front of Marie they were both staring at each other until the man decided to break the silence
“Your mother has not been good since you both left and your father also, even thou he tried to console your mother” The man whose name was mark said looking at Marie
“Don’t you think is high time you come back home, you are wealthy, healthy, you even have your children, can’t you just forget the past and move on” Mark said
“Move on you say, do you know what I f-__-king went through do you know what my baby went through, you think I also love the way I am trust me I can’t forget that painful past” Marie said shouting tearfully thank God there was no customers around
“Then what about your mother who is mourning the death of her alive daughter, do you know how had it is for me to see mother crying everyday blaming herself for your death when you are here hale and healthy huh” Mark yelled back at her
“You just won’t understand dear brother you won’t understand everything must be according to the way I plan it okay and don’t worry just keep mom safe okay” Marie said
“Would you be fine and have you ever thought about what would happen if mom and Marissa meet accidentally, don’t you think she’s going to recognized her” Mark said
“I would be fine okay, am if they meet don’t worry mom wont think that way if she meet her okay, moreover if Clara didn’t betray me who knows maybe everything would be fine” Marie said
“And have told you to stop blaming her you know she’s fragile, if you are the one you would have done the same, please stop blaming her okay please am begging you to stop” Mark said
“Fine, you should know that am just someone who loves blaming others I think you should get going before anyone would trace you here, greet your wife for me” Marie said
“Okay I will send your greetings to her, and I hope that the next time we meet I would be meeting my niece and nephew, bye” Mark said
“Big brother” A voice shouted happily
“Clara” Mark said
“I miss you so much” Clara said tearfully
“You know I didn’t expect a mother should be behaving like a baby” Mark said smiling
“Am your baby okay not even your wife and kid would take that position” Clara said
The truth was that ever since they were amid Clara had been fragile and weak she wasn’t like Marie who was the crazy type
“I should get going okay bye” Mark said pecking her forehead before walking out of the restaurant
“Am sorry for always blaming you for what happen” Marie said
“It’s fine, I would do the same if I was the one” Clara said spreading her arms
“All is well” Clara said
Marie stood up hugging her, Marie knew deep down that all isn’t well, she knew when the devils found out about them then the bloody game would begin
All she know is that she won’t let the children to get hurt
