“Miss I’ll advise you to stand up and go with us now!” The cop said and Karen burst into laughter.
“Did you think you can scare me? No I am not someone you can scared” Karen replied. “Karen what did you do?” Claire asked fears written on her voice.
“I think it’s because I taught that woman that’s trying hard to be a mother, how to treat her child” Karen replied.
“You mean Mrs Smith? Now I get why she went out angrily, you shouldn’t have done that, Mrs Smith is dangerous” Claire replied.
“I am not afraid, I love station, my Dad is once a cop, so I do go to the cop station everyday it’s not a big deal” Karen replied.
“Miss you are wasting our time” the cop said. “Can you shut up and move,” she said to the cop. “Claire darling, did you have Mrs Smith number?” Karen asked with a smile.
“Yes I think i do, let me search my phone for it” Claire replied.
“Alright love, you guys need to wait for me” Karen said with an aunthoritative tone and Claire almost burst into laughter.
“I found it” Claire said. “Thank babe give me her number” Karen said with a smile.
“I guess you wanna apologize to her” Claire said. “Apologize for what? Did I kîll her child?” Karen asked.
KAREN P.O.V
What did I wanna apologize for? For talking some sense into her head? No way.
“Miss you’re taking our time, move now of you don’t want us to manhandle you” One of the cop said.
“Chill, I’ll be done in a minute” I replied and dial Mrs Smith number.
“Hello Mrs, is this all you can do?” I asked and burst into laughter.
“Who the hèll are you?” She asked from the other end of the call.
“I am the lady you ask the cops to arrest, anyway I’ll going with them now, but I’ll be back in am hour time, I am going there for my lunch break” I said.
“What? Instead of you to apologize” she yelled. “You’re wasting my airtime” I said and end the call.
“Shall we?” I asked and the cop nod his head. “It has been long I went to the station” I said and the cop gave me a weird look.
Station
“Madam Mrs Smith ask us to arrest you thr_@tening her” the chief said and I burst into laughter.
“Did she show you guys evidence?” I asked. “No Miss she didn’t” the chief replied.
“Did I need to teach you guys your work? Don’t you know you need evidence?” I asked.
“We didn’t need evidence to work for Mrs Smith” he replied. “Now I see” I replied and brought out my phone,I dial mum number and she pick up immediately.
“Hey baby, I was about to call you, how’s your first day at work? Hope your boss isn’t grumpy as you predict?” Mum ask from the other end of the call.
“No he’s not grumpy, how can a baby be grumpy it’s not possible, guess where I am?” I said.
“At your office now” Mum replied. “I’m at the cops station, my boss mum ask the cops to arrest me” I said.
“And they arrest you? Didn’t they know the daughter of who they arrest? It was there fault, it was sicknèss, give the phone to their chief” Mum said and I handover the phone to the chief.
“My mum wanna speak with you” I said. “Who’s she, I am not in the mood to talk to anyone” the chief replied.
“I am Mrs Martin” Mum replied. “What Mrs Martin!” The chief said with a frown.
“I am very sorry Mrs I didn’t know she’s your daughter” the chief replied.
“Good, release her right now” I heard mum say. “Yes ma’am, how’s your health?” He asked.
“I am getting better” she replied and the chief gave the phone to me, Mum was once a soldier before she retired, she spent her money to take care of me and her sicknèss, she’s richer than Dad before, but now we are left with nothing.
“Baby you can go back to your office now” Mum said.
“No I am not ready to go, they can’t bring me here for no reason, I need to spend mu break here, you know what I mean I’ll call you later” I said and end the call.
“We are very sorry Miss Martin, you can leave now, we will talk to Mrs Smith” the cop said.
“What if I said I am not ready to leave, I need to eat, you can’t bring me here without giving me food” I said. “Alright what will you like to eat Miss?” He asked. “Wait let me think about it” I said and does some thinking.
“Noodles and chicken” I replied. “alright, it will be ready in a minute time” the cop replied and I lye down flat, I need help, my back hurt.
AUTHORESS P.O.V
Claire rushed to Jayden office immediately the cops left with Karen.
“Who gave you the right to bash into my office as you like?” Jayden asked angrily.
“I’m very sorry sir, Miss Martin have been arrested” Claire said shaking. “What! Who arrest her?” Jayden asked and stood up immediately.
“Your mum did sir” Claire replied. “Why didn’t you come to call me before now?” Jayden asked. “I’m sorry Miss Martin ask me not to come tell you” Claire replied.
“Which station did they come from?” Jayden asked. “The station down the street” Claire replied and Jayden rushed out.
“Mr Smith where are you going to without your mask?” Justin ask. “Station, the wîtch have arrested Karen” Jayden replied.
“Shît, but you can’t go there like this” Justin said and dip his hand inside his pocket. He brought out a mask and hand it over to Jayden, the driver rushed to open the door and Jayden rushed to the driver seat.

“Mum!” Luna called with a pout. “I can’t release her, don’t try your luck” Mrs Smith replied.
“She can’t do the work I employed her for in the station, please release her, you will deal with her when she’s done with my work” Luna said.
“She will spend two days there, I Know want I can do, I decided to use the cop because of you, so I won’t release her until she spend two days there” Mrs Smith said.
“Pleaseeeee” Luna pledged. “No, and that’s final” Mrs Smith replied and her phone ring out loud. She clicked on the answer button and take it close to get ear.
“Hello” Mrs Smith said. “I’m very sorry ma, we have released Miss Martin” thr chief said. “What! How dare you? Are you planning to lose your Job!”
