Brandon walked into the cafe pressing his phone, he bumped into someone immediately and his phone fell from him the person’s phone wasn’t left out
“Have you finally gone blind?” Joy snapped instantly
“Watch where you’re going,” Brandon fired back and rolled his eyes
Joy shoved him aside and walked away going over to the front, staring at the trays of food in front of her she picked one
Branon was already eating minding his business when Joy joined the table, he didn’t even spare her a glance as he focused on his food.
“Dr. Philip….”
“It’s joy,” she corrected instantly
“Oh, my bad,” another male Dr ( Charles) Muttered.
“It’s such an honor to have you eat here with us today,” Charles said beaming with smiles
“I know right? Celebrity doctor, I wish to be like you someday,” Sofia another female doctor added
Joy who focused on her food looked up and her eyes met with that of Brandon, he hissed and rolled his eyes, Joy scoffed and focus back on her food
“Mind if I take a picture with you?” Charles asked happily

Rolando glared hard at her and her feet suddenly glue to the ground, he has a big bandage around his head walking over to Tyler’s car
Summer just condemned herself instantly as she watch him leave with others
“I’m just so stupid and an idiot,” she cursed herself and sniffed

Laura opened the door for Donovan and Danica
“Don, I’m so….” he didn’t wait for Laura to finish and stormed off to his room
She turned to Danica with a questioning look on her face
“What happened?” Laura asked, she looked at the stairs then back at Danica who was also silent
Danica walked past her and went into her room, she lay on the bed hugging the pillow to herself
“Who could be after her life? Does that mean that if Donovan didn’t come for her rescue those thugs would have gotten away with her?” Many thoughts ran through her mind

Donovan sat on the floor in his music room with his guitar laying beside him, picking up the bottle of tequila in front of him, he drank directly from the bottle and put down
“I tried,” he mumbled
Memories started pushing their way into his head, no matter how he tried not to think about it, they kept pushing, forcing their way in
“I did everything,” he shouted, grabbing the bottle it went straight into his mouth
It stayed there till all the drinks went down his throat, he took the empty bottle off his mouth, picking up the guitar
He fixed his hand but the memories didn’t let him think of anything, Memories of a woman, who would do anything for him, just name it and she will do it without thinking of the consequences

A BUILDING IN CHICAGO*
A black Van drove into the compound and two guys enlightened from it, walking over to the big door the guards by the door opened it and they went in
“Where is she?” Nathan asked immediately after he saw them
They lowered their head
“Boss Donovan was with her and…..” he stopped and gently looked up, his eyes met with that of Nathan who fixed his guy on him
“Boss we will try again,” he replied and a thunderous slap landed on his cheek instantly
He forcefully held his cheek and the other person who was obviously the driver shifted backward in fear
“I sent you on a common mission and you can’t even do that,” Nathan snarled, his veins popping out
“My woman,” he muttered and turned around, shifting backward, he took a gun from the table and placed a soft K!SS on it
“Get me my woman and you can’t even do that?” he yelled angrily

“Boss we promise to try again,” the first guy said, he lay flat on the ground, his hands crossed together in a pleading way
“Where is Gate?” Nathan asked, snapping his finger another guard came forward
“The cops took him,” The driver said
Nathan collected the phone from his gaurd and dialed a number, it wasn’t long before the owner picked up
“Gate is with the cops so get him while coming back,” Nathan said in a commanding tone
“Are you kidding? You’re asking me….”
“I’m not asking,” Nathan cut in instantly and ended the call
“Get the boys ready and try again, this time if you did not get her didn’t come back here,” Nathan said walking away
