⟨ PALACE OF MAELSTROM ≈ THE KING’S CHAMBER ⟩
“Greetings, my king” Queen Vanya greeted when she entered the king’s chamber.
King Osvaldo smiled at her and said. “What brings you here my queen?” He asked.
“The ceremony between different kingdoms will be heard tomorrow and I think Cheng should be part of the ceremony” She said.
“You want Cheng to be part of the ceremony?” He asked.
“Yes, your majesty. I was never in support of it when you banned him from coming to anywhere close to the main palace. Is being ten years since we last saw Cheng. I think this is a opportunity for us to see him again” Queen Vanya said.
“What if he grows wild and cause a havoc. A lot of Noble people from Maelstrom and other kingdoms will be here for the ceremony, I don’t want anyone to get hurt” King Osvaldo said.
I know you’re worried about the people, but Cheng is your son and he deserves to be treated like he’s from the royal family. And besides is being ten years since he became a demon, I’m sure he must have learned to control his dark powers” Queen Vanya said.
“So how do we invite him to the main palace. Everyone is scared of him and won’t agree to go near him. I myself won’t deny the fact that I’m afraid of my own son” King Osvaldo said.
“We can send him a message through the palace message bird. That’s what we used in sending messages to other kingdoms, right?” Queen Vanya asked.
“Do you think he’ll come? We neglected him for years” He said.
“I’m sure he’ll. I was the one who raised him after he was born and I know Cheng has the heart of gold. Even if we neglected him for ten years, I’m sure he still cares for us so much” Queen Vanya said and King Osvaldo smiles.
“Thank you my Queen, for having faith in Cheng. I wish Queen Anjali was just like you” King Osvaldo said.
“Why didn’t you scold her for telling her brother about Cheng being a demon?”.
“There’s nothing I can do my Queen. The deal has already been done. But just like you say, I’ll deliver the message to Cheng. Let’s hope he comes and that he doesn’t use his dark power on anyone” King Osvaldo said.
“I hope so too” Queen Vanya said and King Osvaldo smiles.
Queen Anjali clenched her fist after listening to their conversation and leaves.

⟨ NIGHT ≈ COTTAGE ⟩
“Wow, you’re so good at archery” Tatiana said when she sees Cheng $h00ting arrows.
Cheng looks at her with a smile and Tatiana gladly returned the smile.
“I never know you were good at archery” Tatiana said when they were inside the cottage.
“Yes I’m” He answers.
“Is everything ok? You look moody” Tatiana said noticing the saddest in his face.
“For the first time in ten years, I received a message from the palace” Cheng said.
“A message? What kind of message?” Tatiana asked.
“My father wants me to attend the ceremony that will be held at the palace tomorrow night” Cheng said.
“He’s inviting you to the palace? That’s something you should be happy about Cheng” She said.
“I don’t know if I should be happy Tiana, or if I should even go to the ceremony. I’m afraid I might hurt someone again and they will end up causing and hating on me like they did ten years ago” Cheng said with a sad face.
“But you said you are yourself at night, right? Since the ceremony will be held tomorrow night, you should attend, I’m sure the demon inside of you, won’t harm anyone” Tatiana said.
“You think so?”
“Yes. So don’t think too much about it and attend the party, is a chance for you to see your family again” Tatiana said.
“Thanks for the encouragement Tiana” He said with a smile.
“Anything for you Cheng. I made something for you” She said.
“Which is?” He asked.
“I’ll be right back” Tatiana said smiling. She went outside the cottage and came back with a ceramic kettle and cups.
“This is for you Cheng” Tatiana said pouring the yellow tea inside the ceramic cup.
“How did you know I love yellow tea?” He asked.
“You told me ten years ago. Everything you said that day is stuck in my head”. Cheng smiles and drink from the cup.
“How is it?” She asked.
“I love it. Will you make this for me everyday? I haven’t had the chance to drink this ever since I was banned from the palace” Cheng said.
“Of course I will Cheng. Anything for you” She said and Cheng smiles.
“Cheers to you going to the ceremony tomorrow” Tatiana said raising her cup. Both clicked their cups, looking at each other smiling.

“Cheng will be at the ceremony tomorrow night?” Isha asked.
“Yes he will and I want you to awaken his demon once he arrived in the palace” The person in the veil said.
“But I thought you said I should let him be at night?” Isha asked.
“Well since he’s attending the ceremony, everyone should know that he’s a dangerous demon. All I want is for the whole kingdoms to h@ťě him, so that when the time comes, they’ll be disagreement for him to become King. He’s destiny to become king of Maelstrom, must not push through” The person in the veil said and smirks.

⟨ AUSPICIOUS DAY ≈ PALACE OF MAELSTROM ⟩
The ceremony has already started, and the laughing of the Kings and Queens from other kingdoms was held. Noble families from Maelstrom also came to the party. And they were enjoying the ceremony as the maids serve them.
Cheng is seated alone, since non of his family choose to sit with him. And no one knew he’s the third prince of Maelstrom. Even if all the attention was forcus on Thiago, Waylon, Narmada and Jai, he was happy that he got to see their faces after so many years.
He smiled at them, but they shot him a h@ťěful glare, it hurts but as long his demon doesn’t hurt him he was okay with it. And what made happy was that Tatiana was always smiling back at him with every chance she got.
King Osvaldo saw how lonely he was and decided to call him over to their table.
“Cheng come join us over here” He said.
“Father is dangerous” Narmada said.
“Inviting him to the ceremony was not enough, now you’re asking him to join us, do you want to ki|| us?” Thiago asked, while Queen Anjali glared at Cheng, Waylon was just quiet.
“He hasn’t done anything since he got here. Come over here Cheng” Queen Vanya said smiling.
Cheng smiles and stood up from where he was sitting and just when he was about to go over to them, Isha whispers to him.
“ki|| everyone”
Cheng smirks dangerously and transformed into a demon. Every one screams running for their lives. Cheng began using his dark powers on people throwing them to different parts of the palace and destroying the whole palace as well.

People screamed as they run. It was only Tatiana that knew he wasn’t in his right mind and she quickly stood in front of him.
“Cheng!!!” She shouted his name, making everyone including Waylon and Narmada look at her
“ki|| her” Isha whispers to him.
Cheng smirks dangerously and grabbed her neck, tightening his hands around her neck, Tatiana winces in pain.
“Tatiana!!” Waylon screams, trying to help her, but Harlow held him back.
“ki|| her and make everyone believe you’re a demon” Isha whispers to him, and Cheng tighten his grip around Tatiana’s neck the more.
“This is not who you are Cheng. Stop listening to that voice inside your head. Is me, Tiana” Tatiana said.
“Tiana?” Cheng asked
“Yes Cheng. Is me, your Tiana. You’re hurting your Tiana, so please stop” Tatiana said.
“What are you doing? ki|| her and make everyone think you’re a demon” Isha whispered to him, but rather than listening to her command, Cheng released his grip around Tatiana’s neck.
“My Tiana” He muttered and slowly, he transformed back to his human form, falling on Tatiana’s shoulder.
“I’m sorry my Tiana” He said before losing consciousness.
