The news about the earthquake in Golden college went viral, and the family of the deceased wept greatly while some went to visit the school to see things for themselves.
Winter was in class when he suddenly heard someone scream. He diverted his gaze from the game he was playing to the girl who screamed.
” Sonia, is everything okay?” Kwin asked.
” It’s Golden college, there was an earthquake which ki||ed 26 students and over 50 were injured..” She replied and Winter’s eyes widened.
He quickly search the net to see the names of the deceased and those injured.. he breath out when he noticed spicy wasn’t among them.
” How did it happened? Did Spicy…..?” He trailed off.
” I’ll be off kwin” He grabbed his backpack and left before she could even talk. He got to the parking lots and saw the strange girl.
” Hey Winter” The girl waved.
” Oh! Shaman or is it sha-girl?” He said and she frowned.
” Well, I only came to check on you, it seems the vision I told you will take another turn though it’s gonna be Terrible and more painful this time.. I wish to help but I’m powerless.. just a daughter of a shaman who sees things” She muttered.
” Don’t worry, brother in-law already decided to take care of everything.. see ya shaman” Winter smiled, revealing his cute dimples before entering the car.
He started heading to Silvio’s home.

Winter’s jaw dropped as his car halted infront of their mansion. He’s been driving for almost an hour now, thinking he was actually heading to Silvio’s place, but his car only brought him home.
He didn’t want to waste another time so he alighted from the car and walked into the house with a frown.
” Don’t you wanna see me brother in-law?” He wondered when he got to the sitting room.
” It’s dangerous out there and your sister is save with me, you couldn’t get to the house because of the barrier I casted over it”
” Oh! Now I know why I kept coming to my street..” Winter said.
” It’s a relief spicy is fine, I was so worried”
” You should stay home okay? Don’t go anywhere and stop talking to me in your sitting room, the maids will think their young master has gone cràzy” Silvio said which made Winter chuckle.
” I love you brother in-law..” He smiled.
He turned back only to see five of their maids staring at him weirdly.
” I’m fine, you just won’t understand” He smiled and with that, he left for his room.
He got his ringing phone from his backpack and placed it over his ears.
? Your sister, did you get in touch with her? Lyra asked.
? Yeah.. her super boyfriend saved her, so don’t worry too much… Bye…
He ended the call, threw his phone on the bed and started taking off his uniform.

Xanthe opened her eyes looking around the room, she noticed she was in her mother’s room.
” Xanthe? ”
” Mother?” She called back.
She checked her neck and after realizing the dagger had been removed from her neck, she sighed.
” I need to see the king..” She left the bed, she wore her shoes and ran out of the house.
She got to the palace and immediately knelt before the king.
” Speak..” King Athenion urged.
” It’s about the Pearl. It’s in the body of the girl with Prince Jael, the girl he got intimate with.. she’s in possession of the Guardian’s Grail”
” My thoughts were right then” King Athenion muttered and asked her to rise which she did.
” I’ll like to join Prince Jael in this quest since I’m the youngest priestess of Gloara” She suggested.
” You have my permission” King Athenion said and Xanthe smiled evilly.
” I promised to bring back the Pearl my King” She said and left the palace. She balled her fist as she left.

All the students were dismissed and asked not to come to school for three days.. The school needed to mourn the lives which were lost.
Mr Park has been in tears ever since the incident. He still couldn’t think straight or gather his thoughts together about how it all started.
” What could have happened today?” Sua wondered aloud.
” I don’t know if you both know this but I think Spicy was angry ” Darth said.
” You also know she’s Demi-human? Why didn’t you say anything?” Sua faced him.
” Spicy is a very simple and lovable person, even if she’s a Demi-human or not, the love she has for her friends is incomparable.. I’m not saying this to make you look bad but I’m jealous you both have the best roomie ever” Darth said.
” Yeah, she’s cool, pretty and intelligent.. She loves us” Kitten sighed.
” I hope she’s okay..” Darth said, resting his head on Sua’s laps.

Silvio was in the sitting room with Spicy, his head on her laps and her hands in his hair, stroking it gently.
He opened his eyes and sat upright.
” I’ll be back..” he said but she held him back.
” Going somewhere?” She asked.
” The king knows you’re with me, and my Presence is needed” He said and she let him go.
He vanished from her presence and immediately he appeared in front of King Athenion, a thunderous slap landed on his cheek.
Everyone in the throne room gasped except Xanthe who smirked.
” You fóol, don’t tell me that thing became your weakness?” King Athenion shouted.
” A little more time father, I promise to bring the Pearl home..” He went on his knees and King Athenion laughed.
” Luhnax, take him to the torture room and chain him with the eternal chain.. that way, he won’t be able to leave. Three days here without going to Earth, then the barrier in his home will break free and Xanthe will gladly bring me the Guardian’s Grail”
” You wouldn’t do that father!”
” You wanna fight the king the way you did on Earth? How do you want Gloaranians to feel? That you have the Pearl and refuse to bring it?”
? What? He has the Guardian’s Grail?.
? He wants Gloara extincted.

He balled his fist tightly, this is what he was avoiding all the while.
He exhaled and stood up.
” I promise to bring the Pearl myself, no one had the right to touch it cos it belongs to me.. it’s my mission and only I have the right to bring it back..” He said and everyone in the throne room began to murmur.
” I’m gonna ensure the safety of Gloaranians and our planet, we won’t stop existing and you all have to believe in me..” He said and and the people started nodding.
? Prince Jael will never lie..
” Take him to the torture room..” The king ordered and he was led away.
” Do you all believe Jael?” The king asked and the elders nodded. The King sighed before dismissing everyone.
” Use the spirit doom on him and make it five hundred strokes”
Spirit doom is a whip with thorns made from the spiritual energy of thousands of their ancestors. It’s strokes felt like thousands of nails piercing into one’s skin and it sometimes causes hallucinations.
” Yes your majesty..” A guard replied and left for the torture room to relay the message.
In no time, they began the torture and Silvio bit on his lower lips to suppress the pain but for how long will he kept doing that.
The torture kept going for hours and he was weak.. he couldn’t even lift a finger but even with that, he was still being beaten like a thief who got caught. Unable to bear the pain any longer, he lost consciousness.

Winter grabbed his phone from his reading table and glanced at it.

He stood up, took his car keys and left the house. He got to his car, he entered and drove out of the compound.

Spicy paced around the sitting room, patiently waiting for Silvio cos it’s been hours already.. she was getting impatient and she wished she could just go to Gloara herself.
She sighed and sat back down frustratedly.

” It’s moving smoothly already..” Mia told Zacus and he laughed.
” Sure.. I can’t wait for it..” Zacus smiled.

Winter kept singing loudly as he drove off. He made to stop his car but strangely it wouldn’t stop. He steering wheel wouldn’t rotate either and fear gripped him at once.
He looked forward and saw a truck coming his way in high speed while his car was moving right into the truck.
He looked outside and discovered everthing stood transfixed on their spots, just his car and the truck was moving.
He shook his head continuously as he tried to reverse the car but he couldn’t.
” No!” Tears was already in his eyes as he struggled to unfasten the seatbelt. The truck’s headlight flashed in his eyes and tears left his eyes freely.
” Silvio!!” He screamed at the top of his voice as the truck ran into his. His car somersaulted a few times before stopping. His car was badly damaged and unrecognizable as blood filled the street.
That moment, everything went back into motion.
