“And I say Cyprus can’t be the only supreme God of immortals, why must it be him? We have more than a thousand immortals and you’re telling me that one person will be higher than all of us, I refuse to accept that,” Miguel banged his fist against the table in front of him, standing on his feet
He actually called a meeting for all the high-rank immortals, the middle immortals can only see Cyprus once in a blue moon, and the lowest immortals have never seen him or know what he looks like
Only his maids and guards are allowed to see him cos they live in the same building, but still, not all of them know what he looks like
All the high-rank immortals exchange glances, Cyprus was present but he didn’t say a single word, he just maintain a straight face
“Miguel, Lord Cyprus…..”
“Stop putting Lord when you’re referring to him, he is my brother and we have equal rights,” Miguel snapped, furiously
“Miguel, son keep it cool,” his mother said and he roughed his hair before going back to his chair
Cyprus was silent, his hand holding his jaw as he fixed his gaze on Miguel
“As I was saying, Lord Cyprus has been…..”
“I said stop calling him Lord, first he brought a human in our midst with the idea of making her one of us, we have thousands of women from noble members of this council, why can’t he choose any of them?” Miguel spat, pointing his fingers at Cyprus
Cyprus was silent, all the things Miguel was saying weren’t even his problem cos his mind was thinking of Kalinda
He couldn’t even concentrate and he wanted the meeting to end so soon just so he could go and see her
“He doesn’t wh@ťěver he wants and u all won’t even say a thing about it, he ki||ed his father, bring a human Into our world, he has the largest army, he wasn’t born like everyone of us, tell me why should I bow to him? He break all the rules even knowing that humans are out of reach, he went against that rule,” Miguel snarled and just like flash, Cyprus was already in front of him
“You have no idea, do you?” Cyprus asked in his deep cold voice
“You mean bringing humans here?” Miguel smirked and looked at him “I will make her shade unstoppable tears, your so called human lover will shade tears that will fall harder than rain, I will break her heart… No, I will shatter it into pieces, in a way that you will find it hard to fix….”
Cyprus gripped his collar and threw him across the hall, near his throne
Everyone was silent
Normally he’s not supposed to create a mess in front of his subjects but how dare Miguel say such things to his face
Miguel coughed, dragging himself up and almost immediately 3 consecutive punches landed on his face, busting his lips
Blood ran down his face and Cyprus dragged him to the throne, pushing him toward it
“You have no idea, do you?” He roared and Miguel spit out blood from his mouth
“You can’t ki|| me, they won’t let you,” Miguel said smirking
” Of course, I will sit,” He said pointing at his throne
Everyone gasped in shocked
“You want this chair, right?” Cyprus asked, referring to his throne
“I said sit,” Cyprus yelled pushing him onto it but a hand grabbed Miguel before he could sit on it

“Lord Cyprus……”
“Do you have any idea what I could do to you?” He snarled, his eyes changing color instantly as his eyes started producing lightening
Another member of the council came forward, getting close he went on his knees, others joined him
“You have no idea, do you?” Cyprus rasped, rage dripped like every blood he was about to spill
“Please have mercy,”
Miguel was smirking inwardly, that’s just what he wanted, to get him angry before he strick

KING TYRONE ?
Kalinda and others were still going over to King Tyrone’s warrior camp when someone suddenly appeared
Viola quickly stood at the front to welcome whoever it is
“The wicked witch of the north, it’s been a while,” the person who happens to be a guy said smiling at her
“And what did the great Wizard want from me?” Viola asked, with a straight face
Everyone exchange glances
“You know each other?” Jefferson asked surprised
“No,” Viola said
“Yes,” The Wizard said
They both said at a time
Viola looked around to see everyone staring at her
“Why not tell them that we are lovers,” the wizard said and she glared hard at him
“he was so good at seducing me so that’s it, what are you doing here? What do you want from us?” She asked, all in one word
Kalinda looked at the both of them, it was obvious that she was hiding something but she didn’t want to push further
“The prophecy, between the light and dark, the good and evil, which will you choose?” He asked, staring from one person to another
Hunter starts feeling uncomfortable
The wizard looked at him and chuckled, he went forward with a basket in his hand
“Pick an apple and have a bit,” He said casually, standing in front of Xavier
Xavier looked at Viola and she nodded gently
She was a witch so he has to confirm before getting himself ki||ed
Xavier reached for the apple inside the basket and picked one, taking a bit from it
“Nice,” he mumbled and Jefferson also took an apple and have a bit
“I would also pick and have a bit,” Draco shouted going over to them
He gets to Kalinda and stopped
“Beautiful they say is not supposed to be only on the outside but also the inside, your fate will be chosen by another,” He said and passed the basket to Hunter
“Pick and an apple,” he said and with shaky hands, Hunter looked at Kalinda, he slowly reached for an apple and took it then he made to take a bit but the Wizard stopped him
“Why is his apple black?” Draco asked and everyone looked at Hunter
The Wizard laughed
“Pick another one,” He said and Hunter nodded, with Shaky hands, he reached inside the basket and pick another apple but this time it was good
“Child of Prophecy, you have already chosen your fate so this is not yours, it’s for another,” he said and Hunter gently passed it to Kalinda
“Press your hand against it, break it,” He said and Kalinda looked at him confused
How is she supposed to break an apple with her hand? Viola took it from her and break it then Ç0çƙroaches flies out from it
“Hahahahahahah rotten, he shall die by your sword,” the Wizard said pointing at Hunter first before Kalinda
“What do you mean? Am a king,” Hunter shouted instantly
“Hahahahaha, the gods know that you will choose your own destiny that’s why they fixed your death date,” The wizard said laughing, he laughed so hard confusing them all
“Hunter, did you do something wrong?” Viola who is beside hunter asked gently
Hunter gulped nothing, sweat instantly covered his face
“N…no,” he stuttered
“I can’t ki|| him, am his protector, not his ki||er,” Kalinda said and the Wizard laughed
“The word of Prophecy can not be changed or rewritten, it can only be delayed but it will come to pass, The prophecy said that a king shall fall and a king shall raise, a child that is born of King Tyrone shall be greater than him, this child shall be his doom, but this child shall die by the sword of his protector, that is the prophecy,” he laughed like a witch and Vanished the same way he appeared
“Am only a messenger,” They heard his voice fading away, followed by a hilarious laughter
