“Because I don’t want Haris to get here before me,” He said and evelyn gasps staring at him.
“Are you f-__-king serious?” She yells and he just stare at him.
“You are really something else,” Evelyn yell as she walk into the small freezer in the dinning and brought out a cold drink, drinking from it and slowly she felt someone hand wrapped around her waist.
“What…the hell are you doing ?” She shuttered nervously and martin just kissed her neck softly sending shivers down her body.
“I just love your perfume sweetie,” He kissed her neck gently. Evelyn close her eyes enjoying the warmth feeling but she suddenly came back to her senses amd push martin.
She glared angrily at martin before walking to her room probably to get dressed.
“What was that,” She breath in heavily, holding her chest.
She could feel her heart beating widely just by the taught of Martin.
“Evelyn am ready for school, I will prepare breakfast,” Ava said and evelyn just nodded and the little figure walk out.
“Well I better go and take a bath,” She muttered to herself and walk into the bathroom.

Haris drove into the compound and his eyes widened when he saw two cars parked outside and there were four guards standing outside and a smile form on his lips.
“He is here to pick bestie up,” He muttered and a smirk form on his lips.
“Why don’t I tease him a little,” He said and park his car before coming down.
The guards stare at him but didn’t say anything anyway.
“Bestie,” Haris yells pushing the door open like it was his house and martin stare at him angrily making him chuckle.
“Chill man, am only here to see my best friend,” Haris said and martin rolled his eyes.
“Bestie,” He yells again trying to walk upstairs but martin pull him back.
“Whoah chill man,” Haris said and martin scoffs before letting go of him.
“Well I think I will just wait for her here,” He chuckle nervously before sitting down on the couch.
“Bestie,” Haris called and hug evelyn who reciprocated immediately making martin frown and Haris quickly move away from her.
His jealousy was really too much.
“Why are you here, if you are here to pick…”
“Yeah I know that already but I promise Ava I am going to take her to school, I was just teasing the young man by saying I was looking for you,” Haris said and evelyn scoff.
“Ava Haris is here,” Evelyn yells and almost immediately the younger one rush out of the kitchen.
“Uncle Haris,” She scream happily and hug him.
For some moment, martin swear he was jealous. He wanted to be closer to the younger one, but her things, hang out with her so she can get to like her. He really wanted evelyn family to be close to him. He didn’t want the younger one to see him ad his sister boss or as a uncle who comes by to take her sister to work.
“My little princess,” Haris tickled the younger one and she bursted into laughter.
He didn’t know why he suddenly felt like being close to the younger one, he suddenly wanted to be the one tickling her.
Haris kiss her forehead and roughly her hair before carrying her bag and lunch box from her.
“Okay bestie, I will see you,” She wink at her and evelyn just rolled her eyes.
“Mr Martin bye,” He wave but martin just glared at him making Haris chuckle nervously.
“Uncle bye,” Ava wave at him and for some reason he could not help but smile staring at the cute one.
Evelyn sigh and then walk into the kitchen. She took two piece of bread and egg, before bringing them to the dinning room.
She sat on the chair ready to eat her meal. Martin stood up and walk towards her, while she just stare at him confused wondering why he was coming toward her.
“Anything the matter?” She ask shoving a piece of bread into her mouth. She was about to chew it when martin suddenly move close to her lips and cut the piece of bread making evelyn gasps.
“What the hell?” She gasps as she watch martin chew the bread while smirking. Her cheek was turning red already.

?”Hello ,” She pick up the call immediately.
?”Hello my princess,” The deep voice said through the tephone and evelyn gasps.
She could recognize that voice from anywhere. Her eyes were tearing up already, her mind beating widely and then suddenly there was a smile on her face. A sad smile that shows all her emotion, all her pains she is trying to hide.
?”Dad,” She whispered tearing up and she could imagine him smiling because he loves doing that, even when he is in the worst situation, he is always trying to smile because he wanted to calm his family down.
?”I heard your mother is sick, so I decided to steal a phone to call you,” He said and the young girl chuckle.
?”Dad you will never change. Will you?” Evelyn said and the man sigh.
?”Change Is constant sweetie but not for people like me,” He said and evelyn laugh sadly, tears flowing down from her eyes.
?”Hey sweetie, I can here you crying but trust me I am f-__-king fine. How is your mother?”
?”She is fine, I mean she is going for surgery soon,” Evelyn said and the man sigh in relief.
?”Dad are you really gonna route in jail for a crime you didn’t commit?” Evelyn said crying loudly this time and the man sigh.
?”I need to go sweetheart, find a way to visit me and please bring your sister along. I miss her and I am sure she don’t even recognize me,” He said and the line went dead immediately.
?”Dad,” She called crying but got no reply.
It hurt so much. She really wanted to see her father but her mother had stopped her because she didn’t want her to get hurt by visiting her father in prison but d@mn…it hurt so f-__-king much.
She couldn’t breathe anymore due to the tears.
“I need a f-__-king drink,” She suddenly said and walk out of the office.
She really wanted to drink away her sorrows, if only it can heal her she will be so glad to take it everyday.
“Evelyn,” Elizabeth called but she just fake a smile not bothering to answer her and elizabeth noticed it.
She could tell she was not okay, traces of tears were seen on her cheek and elizabeth just sigh.
‘i hope everything is okay with her,’ She tuaght staring at her as she walk out of the company.
