?JULIAN AT THE RESTAURANT?
After eating, she went to the living room with a book on her hand. She was actually reading it.
“So did you later go through the news?” Kunle asked, with a fixed gaze. She glanced at him and then closed the book, with her finger in the middle to know where she stopped.
“Oh that, yeah I did. Kinda feel bad for her.” She replied.
“Why? I thought she was giving you problems and all that, calling you names and you know.” Kunle muttered.
“Yeah, but she was my roommate, we spent time together. Although her dad is rich, i guess that’s why she’s misbehaving. You know rich kids.” She replied.
“Aren’t you rich? Aren’t your dad rich? Your mom? I don’t wanna mention them. Why are you not misbehaving?” He asked.
“I guess, I was a little before you corrected me. And put me in the right part.” She replied.
“Nah, that’s not what am talking about. Anyways you’re not like her.” Kunle said to her, she smiled.
“I just hope that it won’t get too far. A military woman.” Amber pouted and sighed.
“Come here.” He said, tapping the couch, he is sitting on. She sat beside him, but not too close. So he pulled her closer and kissed her cheek.
“It won’t get too far. So please ma’am, make me happy by smiling. Okay?” He muttered.
“Yes, sir.” She replied, laughing.
ONE WEEK LATER
Julian was bailed with the help of her father, he warned her never to do such things again, things that will bring shame to his name.
Kim, Stacy and Amber went to a restaurant to have a good time together, while they were discussing, Stacy excused herself to pick a call.
Kim and Amber, continued carry on with the discussing, but it was about her pregnancy and how she’s coping with everything, when Julian walked in, she greeted them, they looked at confused. Kim and Amber exchanged looks, Kim pinched her.
“What do you want?” She asked.
“I want to say that I’m…sorry? Right? Anyways your apologies is not needed. Who knows what you’ll do after this? Kim cut her off, angrily.
Obviously cause more harm. That’s what you are good at, you don’t value our relationship, our friendship. You’re selfish.” Kim added.
“Kim…oh please Amber stay out of this now, lemme talk some sense into her head, because she needs it.” Kim shut her up.
“You’re sorry, after causing pain to a friend. You dated her man, you talked to her, like she was nobody. Despite knowing some things about her, instead of standing by her, like a friend you walked out.
And right I will like you to walk out of this. Unless you want more embarrassment.” Kim said, angrily.
“Kimberly…Amber please don’t tell you still want to forgive her after everything, she has done? After the pain she caused you?” Kim asked, angrily, knowing the kind of pain, her friend went through. Amber began quiet and Julian ran in tears.
Amber sighed softly, staring at Kim. Kimberly loved Julian, when they were still in school but after what she did, she developed hatred towards her.
“That was too harsh.” Amber said.
“I don’t care.” Kim replied.
“You shouldn’t have stressed yourself, like that. You’re pregnant for Christ sake.” Amber said, worried.
“Does that mean, that I can’t yell at her? Being pregnant doesn’t stop me from doing what I want.” She replied.
“Alright, I know. Where’s Stacy?” Amber asked, looking around.
“She’s coming.” She responded.
“Thank God, she wasn’t here. It would have been something else.” Amber said, looking at Stacy direction.
“Hey, what’s up? I heard you guys shouting.” StacStacy said as she sat down.
“Julian was here…..she did what? Why did she come here? Who told her that we’re here?” Stacy yelled.
“I guess, she wanted to get something and then she saw us and you know decided to come over.” Amber said.
“She better don’t come back here, because I’ll personally deal with her. After embarrassing herself, she wants to Amber to forgive her.” Kim hissed and sipped from the glass.
THREE DAYS LATER
Amber and Kunle were in the living room having a conversation, she told him that, she and Julian are now in good times. At first he thought she was joking, but the look on her face shows how serious she was.
“So you guys are cool now?” He asked
“Yeah, she apologized and now we’re good. We can hang out, and have fun.” Amber said.
“Alright, be careful.” Kunle replied.
“Why did you say so?” She asked, confused.
“Because you don’t have to give yourself to her, I mean don’t trust her..” Kunle said.
“Alright, I understand what you are trying to say. Kim is still angry with her.” Amber said and sighs.
“Seriously?” Kunle questioned. “Yeah.” She replied.
“Alright, talk to her and tell her to forgive her. After all it’s forgiveness, nothing else.” Kunle said.
“I will, I hope she listens.” Amber mumbled.
“She will.” He replied and kissed her forehead.
TWO MONTHS LATER
Amber woke up and dragged her lazy self to the bathroom, she had her bath and came back to the room. She dried her wet body and applied the body lotion, she went to wardrobe and brought a dress, she wore it before her husband walked in.
“Wow, sweetheart you look cute..” He said, smiling. “Thank you..” She replied, and grabbed her hand bag the car key that was on the table.
“Are you going to work today?” She asked, him because he hasn’t dressed yet. “Well, yes. I’ll just go take my bath and then eat, before. Wait! Are you not eating?”
“Uhm! I don’t think so, maybe when I come back from work.”
“What? So you’re staying hungry until 2pm or 3pm?”
“Alright, I will eat something when I get to work. Happy?”
“Not really, I was thinking that you’ll eat my food. Anyways no problem as long you’ll eat there, I’m happy.” He said and smiled. She smiled and hugged, and the plant a kiss on his lips, before leaving.
She open the door of the car and hopped into the car, she dropped her bag and her phone on the sit, and then drove out of the compound.
She arrived at her work place, she sighed softly as she walked into her office, only to see Kelly standing. She was waiting for her.
“Good morning ma’am.” Kelly greeted with a smile. “Good morning, how was your night?”
“It was lovely and yours.”
She sighed softly, before replying. “Cool.”
“Alright, there’s this contract from JUST FASHION. He saw some of the design you post on your Instagram, and he loved it. I don’t know if you’ll like to work with him. The workers and me, everyone is ready to work if you want it.”
“Kelly!”
“Yes ma’am.” She replied, thinking that maybe she has done or say something wrong.
“I’m hungry, I would like to eat something before talking about this contract.” She said.
“Alright, ma’am what would you like to eat?”
“Uhm, can you get me ogbono soup?”
“Ahh! Ogbono soup?”
“Yes, don’t you know where to get it?”
“Go to mama Chika, you’ll get it there. I want those stuff, like stock fish, dried fish, etc I want them in the soup, please ogbono.”
“Okay, ma’am. But I thought you don’t like eating ogbono soup.” Kelly said. “Are you going or not?”
“I’m going ma.” Kelly replied and left her office.
Kelly returned back from the restaurant, Amber has been wanting to ask her this question.
“So how did you get to know this guy?” Amber asked, staring at her.
“Well, he is…he is..” She stammered.
“Your boyfriend.” Amber said, looking at her. Kelly gasped and bowed her head, staring at the floor.
“Alright, I want to make use of the machine. It’s been awhile.” Amber said, as Kelly couldn’t answer her questions, she already knows the answer.
“Okay, ma’am.” Kelly said.

Amber get off the machine, immediately she started feeling dizzy. She managed to hold herself and drank a little water, which was able to hold her a bit. She went to her office and sat down.
“What’s this?” She thought.
“I’m feeling dizzy, it’s been awhile. I think it’s because of I have been working myself out, Kunle will come with the idea of staying at home, if I tell him that I’m feeling dizzy.” She said to herself.
