MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
“You’re gonna come back, right?” Axel asked as he watched Melanie combing her hair whilst staring at the mirror. They were both in her room.
“Yes, I just need to make Mom believe Paisley’s words” Melanie said, dropping the comb on the table.
She faced Axel with a smile on her lips.
“How do I look?” She asked, getting to her feet.
“You look pretty, ma Belle” Axel smiled cutely, admiring her petite figure.
Melanie giggled before going to him, she held his waist.
“Hmm,” she tapped her lips and Axel chuckled.
“Are you being naughty right now?” He asked, amidst his chuckles.
“You can’t blame me, I love your lips. C’mon,” she tapped her lips again.
Axel lowered his head and captured her lips in his, kissing her deeply. He th-ru_sted his tongue into her mouth and licked every corner of her juicy lips, earning a sweet Mõ@ɲ from her.
They broke the kiss and Melanie licked her lips afterwards.
“I love you,” Axel said.
Melanie only smiled before carrying her bag.
“You’re gonna come to school, right?” She asked, staring at him curiously.
“Yea, I need to settle things with the boys. Things can’t keep going this way, I h@ťě it honestly” Axel muttered.
“Especially Ace,” Melanie mumbled.
“Yea. I just need him to understand that I love you, and I’m never giving up on you,” Axel said.
Melanie grinned before holding him by the arm.
“Should I give you a ride?” Axel asked as they both walked out of the house.
“I’ll just take the bus,” Melanie said.
Axel only nodded. He escorted her to the bus station, and after bidding each other goodbye, he returned to the house.
He creased a brow when he met the door opening. Who entered the house without his permission?
He entered the house and he had to keep calm, to control the rage that was surging through him.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, inserting his hand into his pants pocket.
“What else? Aren’t I allowed here anymore?” Ariel rolled her eyes.
“You’re a model, now?” She asked.
“Why bother asking when you knew the answer already,” Axel scoffed.
“Well, your Dad is planning to ruin your career only on one condition… Marry me,” Ariel smiled happily.
Axel chuckled but it didn’t last for long when his eyes glowed with anger.
“And you think I’m gonna marry a Ɓîtçh like you?” He said.
“Stop calling me a bìtch!” Ariel yelled.
“That’s because you’re one. Who else forces herself on a guy if not a Ɓîtçh? So pathetic,” Axel spat in disgust.
“Why do you h@ťě me so much?” Ariel suddenly sniffed.
“Do you know how much I love you? Do you know how much your face keeps haunting me at night? Do you know how much I dream of myself in your arms? Do you?” Tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Why do you h@ťě me? Am I at fault for loving you so much?”
“You don’t love me, Ariel. It’s lust, not love. Moreover, I have a girlfriend and I love her so d@mn much, so quit any feelings you have for me, it ain’t gonna work” he walked past her but suddenly stopped.
“And oh… Tell my Dad that I don’t care if he tries to destroy my career but I’m never succumbing to his demand, never!” He muttered and went to his room.
Immediately he was gone, Ariel’s hand curled into a fist and she wiped her tears, breathing heavily in anger.
His words kept ringing in her ears. “I have a girlfriend and I love her so d@mn much,”
“He has a girlfriend?” She scoffed in disbelief before marching out of the place in anger.

BROWN’S RESIDENCE***
Melanie entered the house and met her Mom, setting the breakfast on the dining table. She heaved a sigh before walking to her, a smile plastered on her face.
“Good morning, Mom,” she muttered.
Mrs. Brown turned her head and smiled briefly when she saw Melanie.
“Morning, baby. You’re quite early, have you had your breakfast?” She asked.
“Not yet.”
“Good. Calm Paisley and you both should come down for breakfast,” Mrs. Brown said.
“Okay, Mom” Melanie left.
Melanie entered the room and she was shocked to find Paisley curled on the bed, crying her eyes out.
“Pais!” She shouted, rushing to the bed.
“What happened? Why are you in tears?” Melanie rushed.
On seeing her, guilt ate Paisley up and she cried harder. She sat up and quickly hugged the confused Melanie tightly.
“I’m sorry, Annie. I didn’t mean to, I didn’t plan for it. I had no control of myself, I couldn’t resist,” she blabbered in tears.
“Calm down and talk to me, huh? What happened?” Melanie asked softly.
“Last night, he called me. He sounded hurt over the phone, I had no choice but to rush to him. I took him home and he kissed me.”
“I couldn’t resist it and I ended up sleeping with him. It was a mistake Annie, and I regret it so much”
“I betrayed you!” Paisley cried loudly, soaking Melanie’s body with her tears.
“Who?” Melanie asked, calmly while pacifying her.
“Ace,” Paisley said.
Melanie’s hand froze on her back immediately.

MONASH UNIVERSITY***
“Hey, beauty” Lauren heard as she walked into the school. She actually decided to come early today.
She looked ahead and saw Aaron waving at her with a smile. She rolled her eyes and walked away.
Aaron followed her and kept talking.
“It was as though I knew you’d be coming early, that was why I waited. By the way, you look beautiful,” Aaron kept talking.
Lauren groaned and turned to him in anger, her hand involuntarily raised in the hair and she hit him hard on the face.
She gasped while Aaron’s eyes widened, feeling the sting on his cheek.
