** CHAPTER SEVENTEEN **
I came out of class to go when Jully rushed out of the other block of senior class.
“Eugene…”
she called and i made a shape turn.
” Yes, i thought you are gone”
“Not really, I was waiting for you” She said.
“waiting for me?”
“Yes.. I want to talk to you” She said staring.
“Okay? Am here”
“What is wrong, after you saw my pant you don’t wanna talk to me again or have time for me” she spotted.
“You betrayed me and you know it”
“I don’t understand you, Eugene. Betrayed you, how?” she questioned.
“Not that I don’t wanna talk to you. I don’t want any trouble with anyone and you know I can’t cop.”
“Eugene, i’m not dating anybody, why are you saying this?”
” I’m i convince on this. . .let me burst your logo, who is Thomas Lucky to you” I asked.
“Hmmm, he isn’t my boyfriend” she unsteady.
“But i saw him trying to kiss you last week”
“No…he was just. . .” I cut in.
“I think you should go back to him. Am almost late” I concluded. I trow my bag on my shoulder and left.
*AT BELLA’S RESIDENT*
A bungalo building, compound of three flats painted with yellow, ornamental plants, planted every corner beautifying the compound.
Bella laid on her bed in her room looking beautiful.
Wearing a white short and a blue handless dress that revealed her Břě@šť with a book on her hand.
Then she sat bouncing pen on her hand in thought.
” I don’t know what to do for Eugene to acknowledge my love for him. I’ve tried but he%s been so unhappy lately. I will try all my best just to get him for my self, I really love him”
“Bella,. . .Bella !” Her mom exclaimed outside.
“Yes mom”
she stood up rushing outside.
** NEXT DAY IN SCHOOL*
I walked on a block when I saw Judith on a distance. I walked to meet her at Mr Solomon’s office with a paper on her hand.
But she was standing at the door.
“Good afternoon, Senior” Judith prostrated.
“Why are you standing outside?”
“Mr Solomon isn’t in” I said.
“Where is he?” she asked.
“In principal’s office” I replied.
I looked around I couldn’t just wait for mr Solomon return, so i looked at Judith, things running through my mind.
“ I’m also waiting for him. He advised i should wait him here, I can’t just wait, i will be coming back cause my friends are waiting for me. So when he’s back from the principal office you let me know” I explained.
Judith gently nodded and i rushed out. I
suddenly stopped and turned when i heard
Judith murmured.
“What did you say?” I questioned.
“I didn’t say anything senior”
“But you soliloquized” i said.
“ I was just talking to myself ”
“I demand to know what you said now”
I looked round and cut out a ornamental plant as a cane and began to straight together.
When Judith saw that she voiced out.
“ I said you want to go and meet your
friends, that means i, standing and asking me to wait am your enemy”
I stared at her, the more i looked the more her beauty enters into my eyes, I threw away the cane.
“Kneel down and raise your hands” I commanded.
“What?” She exclaimed.
“I said kneel down!” i instructed.
Judith gradually went on her kneels and raised up her hands.
