CAFETERIA
“Okay I change my mind. I don’t think I can stay away from you all that long. Let’s all go to the same college please.” Chrystal pouted.
“I thought you already applied for Stanford?” Natasha asked.
“Was it Stanford or Harvard?” Kyle asked with furrowed brows.
“I don’t care which it is, I just want us to go together.” Chrystal said with a puppy face.
“I would like that as well.” Swayer said with a sigh.
“Aunt Gina is pregnant.” Ivory said and the girls faced her at once.
“What?!” They all said at the same time.
“Yeah, she’s moving to Boston so I have to go to Harvard’s medical school since it’s the closest.” Ivory explained.
“Well that’s fine at lease you’re still in the US.” Anna smiled.
“My mum is taking a break from acting.” She added and everyone faced her.
“Is today confession day or something?” Ethan chuckled.
“Shut up!” Ivory snapped at him and he raised his hands in surrender.
“So what will she be doing?” Fiona asked with furrowed brows.
“She said she wants to spend time with Evan and I, away from the fame. We would be moving to Australia..”
“Australia!” Swayer sprang up immediately, surprising everyone in the cafeteria.
“What do you mean Australia Anna? Is she trying to take you away from us? Why move to another continent just because she wants to run away from her fame?” Maeve asked with a frown.
“Which college will you go to then?” Chrystal asked before Anna could answer Maeve’s question.
“Maybe Sydney, or Curtin university I’m not sure yet.” Anna shrugged.
“Gosh, it’s like college is trying to tear us apart.” Swayer muttered after she sat down again.
“It won’t be forever though. She can stay there as long as she wants but I’m coming back immediately after college.” Anna said with a slight smile but the rest didn’t smile back.
“What about you Fabiola, where will you go?” Ivory asked knowingly.
Fabiola’s face darkened as she hadn’t even thought about college. She would have more opportunities to get into a good college since she attended Salvatore but it has to be on a scholarship. There’s no way they could afford it without scholarship.
She faced Sebastian and he had that same dark expression. It seems he’s been thinking about it as well.
“I’m not sure yet.” She muttered and the girls smiled.
The bell rang and everyone got up from their seat. Their exams would begin tomorrow so they needed to get back to their hostels and get prepared.
“I will be forever grateful to this school though.” Kyle said as he walked with the boys to their hostels.
“Why is that?” Kandle asked.
“Because of their academic pattern. They used college standards so when I get into college, I won’t have problems adjusting.” He explained and the rest laughed.
“Is that all you’re grateful for?” Shaun chuckled.
“Yes because sadly I don’t have girlfriends like y’all.” Kyle rolled his eyes and they laughed again.
“Seriously? What about Maggie?” Ethan asked and Kyle stopped walking.
“Why do everyone think I’m dating Maggie?” He asked with a frown.
“You’re not?” Sebastian asked with furrowed brows.
“For goodness sake, forget it!” Kyle groaned and began walking ahead while the rest laughed at him.

FAMICS APARTMENT
“Lets make a pact.” Anna suddenly spoke up.
“Seriously? I thought the bet would have thought y’all a lesson.” Natasha chuckled.
“Not a bet you idiot, a pact.” Anna rolled her eyes.
“Oh sorry.” Natasha chuckled and made to stand up.
“Where are you going? You’re part of it too.” Anna called her back and she sat down with a awkward smile.
“What is this pact about? Boys?” Chrystal joked but Anna glared at her, showing how serious she was about the pact.
“Jee, sorry.” Chrystal muttered.
“Come closer, let’s hold hands.” Anna said and they all sat down on the floor, forming a circle as they held each other’s hand.
“We make this pact here that it shall last till we meet again. Repeat after me.” Anna said and they all exchanged glance, a bit confused.
“My mum warned me never to get involved in any cult.” Fabiola mumbled and everyone laughed.

“No matter the distance, no matter the time, regardless of background, we shall remain sister’s, today, tomorrow and always till we meet again.” Anna said and they all smiled at each other.

“No guy can come in between our friendship and we would never come in between each other’s relationship with the guys.” Anna said again and Ivory laughed a bit as she understood why Anna had said this.

“Best friends forever.” Anna said and this time, her face was wet with tears.
“Best friends forever!!!” They all yelled and hugged themselves.
“I love you girls. I will miss you so much.” Anna kept crying and they all hugged her one by one, wiping her face even though she refused to stop crying.
Swayer began crying next. It finally dawned on her that she won’t be seeing Anna for a very long time. She thought it would be okay since it won’t be forever but now that Anna herself is crying, she couldn’t stop her own tears from coming out.
“Seriously are we doing this right now?” Chrystal asked and began crying too and soon, all eight girls were crying.
Natasha was crying because she was happy. She never knew she would have this kind of bond with them. She thought they had stolen her friend from her. Now she realized she overreacted and could have just given them a chance. Maybe things would have been different if she didn’t ghost Swayer.
But even if, at the end, they are still together and she’s truly happy and grateful for their friendship. It made her forget about her parents divorce. It made her forget about the life that’s waiting for her outside Salvatore and that’s just what she needed right now, to forget no matter how short it is, she just needed to forget.

A WEEK LATER
The hall was occupied with students, each carried a bright smile on their faces. it was the last day of the exam so of course everyone would be happy, everyone except the famics and Fabiola and Natasha.
The guys didn’t have any problem. They decided to go to wh@ťěver college their girlfriends would be going to so they too had bright smiles on their faces.
“Gosh I never thought this day would finally come. it felt like ages being in this school.” Kyle groaned and the guys chuckled.
“Have you asked Chrystal to prom yet?” kandle asked Ethan with a wink.
“Do I really need to ask her? I mean who else will she go with if not me?” Ethan scoffed.
“Don’t be too confident bro. I might just take her to the dance.” Kyle smirked and Ethan glared at him.
“Don’t you dare go near my girlfriend!” He warned and the rest laughed at him.
“No offense bro but I still find it hard to believe you’re actually in love. I’ve never seen this possessive side of you. It’s really…well it’s suprising.” Shaun chuckled.
“What about you Mayor, have you asked that beauty goddess of yours?” Ethan threw the question at him.
“I’m not like you bro. Of course I did.” Shaun replied, raising his head high like a proud boyfriend.
“When was that?” Sebastian asked with a straight face.
“My birthday night.” Shaun replied immediately but then paused. He instantly regretted his answer and silently prayer Sebastian doesn’t ask what happened between them after.
He still wasn’t comfortable with the fact that he’s dating his best friend’s sister and so he preferred to keep their romance to himself.
“Really? Was this before or after I left?” Sebastian questioned again. He was curious to know how things went on after he left even though he knew it wasn’t his business but since his sister was involved, he had to make sure she was safe at all cost.
“Dude cut him some slack. Focus on your own love life and let him be.” Ethan said as he gave Sebastian a pat on his back.
Shaun silently thanked Ethan as he wasn’t even ready to answer Sebastian.
Images and memories of that night began appearing in his head and he didn’t even realize he was smiling until Ethan hit him on the head.
“Dude! You need to stop doing that!” Shaun snapped and everyone laughed at him, including Sebastian.
He would leave Fabiola in Shaun’s hands now. She was his responsibility for now and he would trust her to make good decisions. Knowing Shaun, he was confident that Fabiola won’t get heartbroken, at least for now.
