On a full breeze I sat with mom glancing on the compound it has been a while I left the house. It was holiday’s urgent visit.
My baby sister was inside working out her assignment.
” Eugene, This have been running on my mind this days and I thank God you are here” mom said.
“mom, what could that be, I know you always worry and bitter your mind over nothing” I sat faced her.
“In few months coming you will emerge your nineteen years of age. You know where you are schooling different people are around you. Be careful this time you hardly visit us”
” mom am fine, that shouldn’t bother you anymore am extra careful, mom” I said with a smirk touching her chick.
” I know, but mostly important I know you are fun of girls but. . .” I interrupted.
“mom what are you trying to say now?” I asked with a moody face.
” listen to me, always be careful with the kind of friends likewise girls. Quit all forms of unnecesasary relationship that can’t emit value to your life. Make sure if you want to have a dating girlfriend make sure she is a good one, and she that can impact good realities to your life”
Mom glimpse expecting some words. I remembered a girl I had s*x with yesterday and I regreted. I need to stop all insensate acts to avoid bittering my future. I soliloquize. Mom shake me, I regain myself.
” Why have you been silent all this while, I hope you have heard what I said?” mom questioned staring at me.
” yes mom have heard you” I nodded in confirmation.
” let’s go in lemme get you something to eat” mom said.
” okay mpm” I went in smilling.

I slept peacefully feeling the warmness of the amazing room.
I felt eathful. I heard alarm beebing I quickly jumped off from the bed it was 6:30 post-maridian, I bashed to the sitting room, I saw my parents and baby sister watching evening programs.
” Hello dad…hello mom”
accost smiling.
” You’re awake Eugene ”
mom said.
” Yes mom, i’m awake”
” Mom, you didn’t care to tell me that dad is back” I asked while I sit folding my hands
“We didn’t want to disturb you. I hope you had a very nice rest” dad add in.
” Yes dad” I replied.
” Senior, what did you bring for me?” baby sister Vera asked while walking towards my sit.
” When you have been eating all the food in this house and you expecting me to bring something for you” I jested.
” Hahh! Senior it’s not fair o!” Vera said giving a frowny face.
” Some other time, okay? ”
” So how is studies”
dad asked still glancing on the Tv.
” It’s nice, I just need something so I can. . .” dad cut in.
” I know you like money ” dad poured out.
” Hahh! Dad who don’t like cash, only the dead” I giggled
[MONDAY MORNING]
I rushed out of the house with my school bag I glanced on my watch it was 7 o’clock already.
” I’m late to school” I said rushing out as my mom waved at me and I waved back moving into the car.
Everybody was at assembly ground yet I wasn’t in school.
Duff walked to Sonya who was pacing at the gate with some other students.
” Do you know why Eugene is not yet in school, do you have any information?” Fduff said to Sonya.
“no I don’t, cause he had kept silence on me for weeks now” Sonya revealed.
” Duff come here”
Mr Solomon called.
” Do you know why Eugene is not yet in school?”
” I don’t know sir. . . I don’t know what is keeping him waiting” said Duff.
All the students were at assembly ground I checked on my watch it was 7:45 already. I scurried in shamefully, I knew I was late to school.
Few minutes later everybody dismisses to their different classes.
Mr Solomon walked to me putting a hand on his pucket.
“What gave you the impudent and the impertinent to come to school now” Mr Solomon said adjusting his eye glass.
” i’m sorry sir, I woke up late and I couldn’t meet up with time” I said bending my head.
” You are extremely voracious. Don’t tantalize or allow such blooper to repeat itself again” mr Solomon exhort.
” Yes sir” I said feeling happy he walked away. Dolly with some students sighting our direction. Duff rushed to me.
