Daisy stopped laughing as she noticed Isla wasn’t mingling with them. She seemed to be lost in her own thoughts.
“Isla.” She called, tapping her making her jolt from her thought.
“What’s it? You seem lost.” Daisy said and she faked a smile.
“Lost?… Nah… I’m just bothered with some irrelevant school activities, it’s nothing.” She lied.
“Bothered? Which school activity are you bothered about?” Hattie asked unconvinced.
“Uhmm… it’s not really important. I was thinking of next class, it’s maths right?” She asked and Daisy nodded.
“Yeah… I just remember and I can’t go to my room to get my textbook.” Daisy muttered.
“Ours is physics and it isn’t now, right Hattie?” Ursula asked and Hattie nodded.
“Why can’t you go to your room to get your textbook?” Hattie asked Daisy.
“I’m afraid, he might be in the room.” Daisy replied and Hattie and Isla furrowed their brows.

“Ohh, I guess Daisy hasn’t told you guys who her roommate is,,, well it’s VD.” Ursula told them smiling widely.

“But I thought male and female don’t share a room?” Isla said, rather asked in her usual calm tone.
“I thought as much but I guess Stanford don’t follow that silly rule.” Hattie commented and Isla mouthed an ‘O’.
“Who even made such rules?” Ursula asked rolling her eyes.
“I wonder the same.” Daisy said.
“But let’s not forget the main problem here. I need to get my textbook.” Daisy told, Ursula and Hattie exchanged glance and smiled.
Daisy looked at them, skeptically. She wondered when this two became close friends.
“Worry less, just take us to your room.” Hattie requested and Ursula nodded.
“What are you guys gonna do?” Daisy asked.
“Trust us.” Ursula assured and nodded.
“I really don’t want to but I guess I have to.” Daisy said softly.
“Uhmm… sorry guys, I can’t come with you guys, I also need to get some stuff and you know the class will be in 20 minutes time.” Isla said and they nodded.

Hattie peeked in an saw no one, she also let Ursula so that they will be completely sure that no one was in.
“Okay Daisy, no one is inside. Go get your book.” Hattie said and Daisy frowned.
“Won’t you come along?” She asked staring suspiciously at them.
“We will, we will surely come.” They chorused and exchanged look.
“Go girl, we’ve got your back.” Ursula and Hattie affirmed. Daisy went in.
She smiled when she saw no sign of him in the room. She walked to the table beside her bed and searched for her book.
She arched her brow in confusion as she didn’t see the book.
“What’s it Daisy? Can’t you find it?” Ursula asked in a whisper.
“Yeah.” Daisy replied, scattering the whole place. She searched her bag, yet she couldn’t find it.
“Maybe, we should come and help you.” Hattie said and opened the door a bit wider.
She was about to take a step when she heard his voice making her froze right at the spot.
“Looking for this?” That was what he asked in an icy tone making Daisy quiver.
