MINUTES LATER^CAFETERIA
Laughter and banters filled the table as the girls consumed lunch, but just like yesterday, Delaney isn’t interested, she just kept picking on her food slowly.
“February 14 is upper week Sunday!, It’ll be more fun cos we won’t be in school!” Melinda gushed.
“Stop talking about Val please, I don’t have a boyfriend so I find it offensive” Carina said.
“Me too” Gigi replied,, and Melinda started laughing with Paisley.
“Just tell me you’re jealous” Paisley said.
“Yes I am” Carina replied, and they laughed again.
“Mrs Gregor’s wedding is … Tommorow!” A student announced.
“OMG!, So Mavis and Madelyn are becoming step-siblibgs tommorow!” Melinda gasped.
Mavis and Madelyn entered the cafeteria at the same time, and they started glaring at each other.
“Gosh, I’m getting goosebumps” Gigi said, staring at them.
Mavis came to the girls table and grabbed Delaney’s hand.
“Come” he smiled, and Paisley helped her up.
“Go with him” she winked, and Delaney left with him
Madelyn sat with her bimbos, and as she ate, she smiled.
“If only she knows what’s coming for her at the restaurant tonight” she said.
“Can’t wait for the wedding too, swears Madelyn you’re a baaad b**tch” Gladys laughed.
“I trust you Maddy” Sydney winked.
Trevor suddenly came into the cafeteria .
” Your boyfriend is here” Gigi said.
“Really?” Melinda spranged up.
Trevor carried her in his arms immediately he got to her.
He pecked her lips first, and she blushed so hard.
“From today onwards, you’re only allowed to eat lunch with me” he said.

Melinda was smiling as Trevor took her out in his arms.
Paisley suddenly got a text on her phone… from Leo.

She stood immediately.
“I’ll be right back girls” she said and left for the class.
She opened the door and Leo grabbed her immediately, caging her to the wall.
“You’re not smoking” she whispered, looking up at his eyes.

She responded immediately, hanging her arms on his neck as the kiss deepened.

Delaney got there with Mavis and met a table of different dishes waiting for her.
She looked at Mavis and he smiled before helping her sit.
“You haven’t been eating lunch at the cafeteria since yesterday, so you have to eat right now, under my supervision” he said, and she smiled lightly before picking a fork.
She ate from the marinated chicken first, and she nodded.
“Delicious?” He asked.
“Yeah” she replied and continued eating while he just watched with a smile on his face.
“I love it when I make you smile” he suddenly said, and she looked at him.
“I love your smile Delaney, so much that I can hurt myself to make you smile” he said, and she choked but he quickly offered water.
She took it and continued eating without looking up. Mavis smiled.

A DEPARTMENTAL STORE
Mr Stewart was already in his suit, waiting for Mrs Gregor to come out in the wedding dress.
They actually came to check out the dresses for the second time before tomorrow.
“Women takes forever to dress up” he smiled, but the door opened immediately, and Mrs Gregor came out in the flowing expensive wedding gown and veil over her head.
“My goodness!” Mr Gregor stood.
“I have the most beautiful bride ever!” He shouted and started walking to her for a kiss, but his phone suddenly rang, and he stopped to pick since it’s from his informant.
“Any news?” He asked.
“I found traces that the daughter of that family is still alive and it has been confirmed, cos she even gave birth to a baby” the informant said.
“What!”

<5PM^ROMA RESTAURANT>
Delaney came in and sighed when she saw Madelyn among the servers.
She smiled at her but she ignored and just left to change.
She came out in the uniform and bumped into Emma by the door.
“Hey Delaney!”
“Hey… Emma” she replied awkwardly.
“Try to keep your secrets well, humans are smarter than you think” she said.
“Meaning?”
“Nothing, my boyfriend will be coming here to eat with me” Emma replied and left her.
Delaney swallowed nothing and joined the servers.
There minutes later, Dylan came in.
“Dylan!” Emma smiled, rushing to him.
She took him in and made him sit on on a chair.
Delaney’s eyes were fixed on them throughout, she couldn’t stop herself from staring, it’s so hard to get her eyes off him.
She was still staring when Madelyn snuck something into her pocket unnoticed.
“Are you gonna slack off again?, Get to work!” Her boss said, and she quickly resumed serving.
Emma ordered pepperoni pizza for Dylan, but Delaney stopped her.
“He…has ulcer” she said.
“Thanks, I never knew” Emma said and got plain pizza with juice which she took to him.
She sat with him and started feeding him.
“Say ha” she said, and he opened his mouth.
She fed him a bite and wiped the crumbs on his lips with tissue before kissing his lips.
“I love you” she said, and he smiled.
Delaney felt her throat shaking again as she watched…tears is obviously coming.
The tray she held was shaking so much.
“Ten thousand dollars is missing here!” The boss said from the counter, and Madelyn smiled knowingly.
“How the hell did it happen!, It was still complete twenty minutes ago” the boss shouted again and assembled all the servers.
He ordered the females to turn over their pockets while he searched the males himself.
Delaney turned over her pocket when she got to the front, and the money fell from it. Her eyes widened.
“Delaney?, How could you!” The boss shouted.
“I didn’t take this I swear I didn’t…
The boss slapped her before she could finish, and she fell on the ground.
Madelyn smiled evilly.
“I really didn’t take the money!” Delaney sobbed with red eyes, and the boss squatted in front of her.
“I thought you were righteous, turns out you’re a Ɓîtçh!” He spat.
Dylan stood from where he’s sitting and Emma grabbed his hand.
“Where are you going?”
He looks angry as he took his hand roughly from hers, then he walked to the scene just when the boss was about to slap Delaney again.
He grabbed his hand and pulled him up, then he punched him on the face and he fell on the counter, all eyes widened but Delaney’s eyes was times three.
Blood escaped the boss’s nostrils as Dylan smirked and walked to Madelyn.
“You secretly put the money in her pocket, I f-__-king saw you motherf-__-ker!” He said and her eyes widened.
Before she could talk, he slapped her twice and pushed her, she staggered on the nearest table blindly, and all the food and water on it poured on her
“What the hell do you think you’re doing!” The boss shouted, and Dylan faced him.
“Bastard, how dare you slap an innocent girl!” he said and rushed to him. He jumped on him and kicked his face, sending him to the ground again.
“Argghhhhh!!!” The boss groaned painfully.
Dylan faced Delaney and helped her up, then he held her shoulders and scanned her face.
She has a small cut on her lower lip as a result of the slap.
“Oh gawd” he muttered and went for the boss again.
He dragged him up and dragged Madelyn up too, then he hit their heads on each other, and they both fainted on the ground.
